Uno (New Uno Limavady) in Limavady

Ordered Chicken Chow mein for my dinner. Got it home and the chicken was greasy and cold. Won't be back. Place used to be nice circa 2015. Now it's just rubbish.

Cantonese sauce on special had no flavour this is a first

Challenged Mary the owner for something new from the menu as I normally stick to the Uno Special Curry or Uno Special Satay, both extra hot, and I was delighted with the result. Starters were the Thai Chicken Rolls and Mini Curry rolls with curry dip and sweet chilli dip. Both were piping hot and absolutely delicious. The main was the Szechwan Chicken (hot) with fried rice. Every mouthful was perfect and soo tasty, and again piping hot. Have to say if you are stuck and want to try something new Mary has the answer. Must mention it was a telephone order which arrived as scheduled, the staff at the counter are very friendly and place is very well run and clean and tidy. Definitely the best Chinese takeaway in Limavady

Telephone order arrived 15mins after order placed as stated, payed and was asked 20 minute later was I a telephone order or walk in 🤦after another 10 minute order was ready drove home only to find order was wrong 😡😡 Could see through it if they where busy but 2 deliveries and 1 other order, oh and not to forget the 3 staffs orders, won’t be back!!!!

The one and only Chinese...gluten free dishes ..loads

I'll start by saying the food was Great. Plenty of close parking. The staff were quick to take my order, the order was fairly quickly put together. During my short wait, I saw others come in who had pre-booked their order, this is probably the best way to order. The food was very good, and reasonably priced. Would definitely get food here again. Food was stone cold, chips taste of copper, chicken chow Mein was tasteless, fried rice is not cooked properly, phoned to complain and no answer, when I was in ordering the food they had moped the floor and it was very slippery and no wet floor signs out, definitely won't be back.

Always get the same thing but last night got the salt and chilli chicken balls! Delicious 😋 Always great food, our favourite take away 😍

4 stars for the food, zero stars for customer service, average 2 stars. We were 7 miles away outside Bellarena in a holiday home, and went to collect our order. When we got back 20 minutes later, one of the meals was missing its chicken part, the main part. Phoned to be told I'd have to come back to collect it, which I did after explaining that by the time I got back to eat my meal the rest of it would be cold as it was a 30 minute round trip there and back roughly. When I got there to pick-up my missing meal I was handed just the missing part, offered a couple of cans of coke (which I refused) and got told the rest of the meal should have been in the bag !!! To which I replied yes but it will be stone cold when I get back , almost 1 hour after originally picking it up from the Chinese, and the reply was "ack, hopefully not" So terrible I just walked out in disgust !! Would it really have been so difficult to add in fresh rice and sauce?? If they had, then I would have been satisfied and I wouldn't be writing this review, or maybe giving a positive response instead. To answer the owners questions, I only know it was a female on the phone and in the restaurant who I spoke to, however I don't know if they were the same person as there were 2 female staff on last night. I did make it abundantly clear both on the phone and in person about the remainder of the food being cold when I was able to eat it. The food was spoiled by this, as it indeed WAS cold when I got back. Even the chicken which I went back for wasn't that warm when it was handed to me. I usually holiday here a couple of times a year, and Uno is one place we always look forward to, and the food is usually delicious, it's just a shame that this visit was a let down. The Macau Chicken is to die for absolutely beautiful every time the kick of salt and chilli chicken with that touch of sweetness a real must try for anyone who hasn't gave it a go yet

Without a doubt the best Chinese takeaway in Limavady. Not only a great and varied menu but you can easily request your meal mild medium or hot in order to suit your own individual taste buds. The boss, Mary, is wonderful and if you are stuck for something new, her knowledge of the spices, meats, sauces etc is second to none, and she can easily recommend numerous dishes to try. Food always piping hot, well priced and scrumptious. Looking for a change, you’d be silly not to give it a try

Customer service was amazing, friendly professional staff ! I had chicken fried rice, salt and chilli chicken balls and Curry sauce. Curry was perfect, chicken fried rice was great and the salt and chilli chicken balls absolutely Incredible, new chefs know what they're doing for sure! Happily and strongly recommend New Uno cuisine !

They have massively improved. So good I went back a second day. Last year I literally got The worst food I've ate in my life. But I have to say they have improved.

Paid £5.65 for salt and chilli ribs and got a box of burnt veg and 4 stingy burnt ribs. Rice, chicken and even the peas were burnt on chicken fried rice special. Awful burnt taste and had to chuck it in the bin because when i rang to complain, i was told 'we will look into this and make sure it doesnt happen again, but theres nothing we can do about it now'. So i might as well have thrown my £15 in the fire as it was not fit for human consumption. Will never be back and will certainly be advising people not to eat here.

Got a meal from Uno over the weekend - the first in a long time. I've always really enjoyed the food from here but not this time - - the fried rice was burnt.. How can you burn a staple dish and still serve it to customers. I have since heard that this has been a recent, regular occurrence.

We ordered a collection order on Sunday evening for family that we haven't seen for 12 weeks. What a disappointment. Food was disgusting & wasn't ediblie we only received a partial order. Rang takeaway an they did deliver remainder of order but again not fit for human consumption. Very disappointed long term customer!!

After a 2 hour wait and 3 phone calls asking where the food is we got dried out meat and cold side orders.. we were told the food was on its way but after an hour it clearly hadn’t left the building.. disappointed and won’t be back..

Waiting time for food is atrocious considering there was no one else in waiting on an order. Doesn't appear to be many visiting this establishment. On opening food it was fairly cold. The fried rice was like mush and looked dark brown in colour. The curry sauce hadn't much taste and when eating it felt like there was sand in it. There were black bits which looked like a pepper corn badly crushed and burnt. Phoned to complain and was told to return the food. Too late as in food bin as no one would eat it. Wouldn't recommend.

Good customer service and good quantity of food for cost

Was once the best Chinese in the town and well deserved. Having eaten here a lot I can honestly say the service has deteriorated. On my last visit I was told it would be a 15min wait and it turned out to be 55mins. More disturbingly, there weren't a lot of food orders coming out of the kitchen. The time before that I was given the wrong order. The food when I did get it was ok, didn't strike me as being freshly made from how stuck together it was. It's a shame really, having seen this establishment operate at its peak.

Long Wait. Over Priced. Meat Was To Tough. The Food Was Uneatable. Straight into the Bin. Never Again Will I Be In Here. My Advice Go Elsewhere.

Ordered by phone, wrong order handed out, got home discovered mistake so we were told to box the stuff up and return it. Did so, collected correct order with no apology or compensation. No vat receipt, no card payment facility.......till operators looked startled when I asked for vat number.......questionable establishment.

on the last two consecutive times I have ordered here the wait has been 50 minutes , you are not told this when ordering . my latest visit I pre ordered with just eat in the hope my order would be ready , but no and after waiting another 20 minutes I contacted just eat to cancel and was given just a 50% refund . So uno got to keep 50% but in the long run they will lose money as I won't be back

Wasn't impressed. Ordered the food and arrived when we were told to at 6:25 and saw loads of food waiting to go out on the counter. 10 minutes we waited in store till they handed out our food and of courses ours was the first bag so we had to wait 10 minutes to get food that was already ready. Food was freezing and wasn't even what we ordered. Ordered noodles and we got boiled rice. The portion sizes were terrible for the price. ordered salted chilli chicken and to be honest there was more veg than chicken. Used to love this place but it's went drastically down hill and the service was terrible.

Ordered at sixish, rang two hours later to see what was going on & they told me they didn't put it on because the delivery was going to be 7 pound. I was aware I'm a few miles from limavady and would have paid the 7 pound no problem. They didn't seem too fussed when I rang. Will never order again.

Food is top quality best in Limavady

Very disappointed poor quality of food, very rude inexperienced staff, awful judge of time. Collection will ready in 10mins,,, 30 mins later received incorrect order.

Got told 30 to 40 minutes for delivery, turned up an hour later. Noodles were tasteless, dry and the onions and prawns seemed more raw than cooked! Never again UNO!

Food was soggy and tasteless and cost £28 .90 to feed two adults one child and it was absolutely disgusting

Stayed in park roe orderd chinese the girl on phone said it will take up to 50 minutes. 2 hrs 15 minutes later my phone rang ur chinese is down stairs I told her to keep it. Disgrace waiting that long
