Amazing service and food. Best teriyaki chicken starter and main. Can't recommend here enough. 10/10. Service by girl out front was fantastic 👏 👌

Only thing this once great takeaway can cook now since they changed hands is their books as it's "cash in hand" only now. God awful.

Been ordering here for over 30 years and if you normally spend over a certain amount prawn crackers are free. Tonight I noticed the chicken curry has gone up from £7.00 to £9.00 and I was charged £2.50 for a small bag of prawn crackers the price rise is understandable but the the £2.50 is a rip off won't be ordering again if this is standard.

2 half hours late. Rung after an hour told food was on its way. Rung again hour later again, food was only being prepared, therefore was not told the truth first time. No delivery driver even though paid £4.50. No apologies, asked for refund and we’re reluctant to give it. Cancelled and had to order food somewhere else. Very unhelpful. Not our usual takeaway, but thought we’d give it a go for a change. That didn’t turn out well.

so disappointed as i love this place, the 2 young ladies out the front were lovely, but i cannot say the same about the food , it’s overpriced , the beef was burnt and i was missing a lot of food , very disappointed!!

Made an order and everything i got was the complete wrong order! Disgraced! Spent £28 and it was wasted as it went to the bin! Will never eat out of here again, disappointed as i love this place

Got a take away this evening. Crispy chicken pekingese sauce. Absolutely disgusting and to top it off I bit into a piece of chicken with a big bone in it. Front of house staff very rude and they don't take card payments.

Sunflower in limavady used to be one of the best Chinese takeaways in northern Ireland. It offered really exceptional food plus it's 'good luck' style hidden menu which was even better. It recently got bought over and whoever bought it completely destroyed it by getting rid of the good luck style and changing to the most generic recipe for food. We ordered the beef curry and the meat was like a leather boot and it tasted like any other crap takeaway you get in a big city. Huge huge Shame. Avoid like the plague

Second time eating from here and both times food has been fantastic. First time I ordered beef szechuan but they gave me chicken. However it was really tasty so wasn't bothered. Second time I got salt and chill chips and honey chilli chicken and both were spot on.

Updating due to change in management: the only passable food is the chips, the chow mein is now burnt (80% of the onions are somehow almost raw while being charred), the chicken though cooked through is squishy and soft, almost has the texture of baby food somehow?(has clearly been changed to precooked chicken like the bulk you can get from Linus's just tossed in last second) the rice is claggy like a brick and also burnt. Nuggets changed to some rubbery anemic ones but changed again to bland offbrand McDonald's nuggets Vs the lovely chunks of chicken in perfect fried batter. Since the change the quality has went down drastically to a point it's no longer enjoyable to consume. Which is a shame for those who stuck with it for years.

Hand down shocking, had two bits of my chicken curry and chips, had to bin it after that. I also ordered a large bag of prawn cracker and there was only 5 in the bag not even a enough for one person

Pros & Cons Pros: Biggest bag of chips iv ever seen from a Chinese and the are nice! Friendly young lady taking your order with a smile. Opens at a good time. Cons: Bog standard curry sauce! Basically flavourless with a hint of something rotton. Chicken abit rubbery. You have to park across the road on a very busy one way street with barley any spaces because there all took. And they don't take card! Definitely won't be back as I'm a curry man and iv tasted better curry's homemade then that. 2/10

Sunflower has went down hill badly. Used to be my favourite Chinese and I wouldn't order again now. Got a mixed meat chow mein and it is horrible completely different and I got wee tiny cuts of beef which is tuff and prawns. No chicken or pork. Really disappointing.

Got chicken omelette couldn't find it was covered in so much gravy it was awful really bad taste of it couldn't eat it really bad.

We ordered over phone for take-away, Mixed Fried rice (mentioned specifically No Pork!!) and chili chicken dry. While the chili chicken dry was good, the mixed fried rice had nothing but Pork! We could not eat it and since it was takeaway so by the time we reached Ballerena for dinner it was too late to order anything else so we slept hungry.

Absolutely love Sunflower brilliant service and very kind, helpful and friendly staff. Top notch food, extremely tasty. Wouldn't go anywhere else for my Chinese takeaway.

I can’t believe people eat this garbage and think it is anyway nice! I have never in my life ate worse Chinise food. Has to be easily the worst Special Chow Mein I have ever ate! The beef was so tough I literally couldn’t eat it. And I don’t know what sauce they used for it but the noodles where RED! It was truly disgusting 🤢 My partner had chicken balls chips and gravy. 2 chicken balls! TWO!!! The gravy was like congealed glar and tasted of absolutely nothing. Should there be no other Chinese takeaways open in Limavady, we will never use this one ever again! PLUS! Cash only, no cards, during a pandemic!!! I had to come here to leave a review as they have switched their Facebook reviews off; that in itself should always be a warning sign.

Says this opens at 4-30 have been phoning since this time and is now 5oclock and still telling me phone busy unless everyone in Limavady phones at the same time!!!!!

I rung over 83 times and it never said on facebook or website thta they were closed

1st time in 5 yrs passing through town so decided have a curry. Service was quick however cost to quantity was too high and poss 1 of the most expensive ive paid. The food? Horrendous! Curry was milder than gravy and portion overly bulked up with peas. This is when thankfully the small portion had its benefit. Wud def rate it as the worst curry ive ever bought and thay includes chip shops.

I was a tourist wandering about alone on a January night, so I was very glad to discover this place and its sit-down section. I had their Chinese fried pork for £6.30. Lots of meat, peas, and mushrooms. Good and hot. I was confused by the façade: Sunflower seemed to be the takeaway part (food hygiene rating 5 out of 5), while the sit-down section is branded Oriental Express (food hygiene rating 4 out of 5). Inside its one place, with an arch in a wall between. I liked the seating, booths, windows for a view of the street.

Alway nice food, good luck curry is recommended.
