I rate this take away. The food is delicious, the young lady serving is absolutely lovely & hard working. Its definitely my favourite Caribbean food shop in the area, good seasoning & flavour, good variety of food on offer & also great meal deals for families, adults & kids. Price is very reasonable too.

Portions were very small, the oxtail were tennie tiny pieces never seen oxtail so small. The taste was lovely like it always is however if I’m buying a mixed meat dinner for £15 I’m expecting larger portions especially a larger rice.

I dunno how they can call it Caribbean food everything was watery food Cold definitely won’t be coming back

Ordered 2 jerk chicken dinners. And after waiting so long I was expecting it to be worth the wait. One meal had chicken breast with gravy and the other was a thigh with gravy. Bland flavour. Not worthy of the name Jerk chicken dinner. Will not be visiting again.

The food was atrocious…the chicken was all red and the dumpling greasy. Food full of pepper with no taste. Highly disappointed… should have went to McDonald’s. Don’t deserve 1 star only because I did not have the option to rate 0

Always a pleasant service and great authentic Caribbean food

Mediocre at best, first time ordering from here and won't be doing so again. Rice is stodgy, mutton sauce is like water. Such ashame as it has the potential, just not quite there.

Food was terrible and not fresh. Ordered jerk chicken and it was basically chicken breast with sauce. Also ordered ackee and salt fish and it had small seeds in it and tasted bitter. The dumplings was hard and dry. Very disappointed.It was my first time ordering and only ordered as it was highly rated with good reviews on deliveroo. Won’t be ordering again as it was a waste of money.

Soup was great. The stew chicken was very dry and tough, the sauce was nice but the chicken was too dry and tough.

We normally eat here but the past couple of times the chickens been really dry. Really disappointed as we normally order from here.

Bought an oxtail dinner and was extremely disappointed. There was no oxtail whatsover just bits that looked like shrapnel. No pieces of oxtail. Complained before. Didn't feel I should have to keep doing so. DISSATISFIED for q second time.

Well…my first experience here. Happy to report that I was not disappointed. Ordered curry goat, white rice, steam veg, coleslaw, fried dumpling - and you know what, it was a pleasant meal. I actually like the individually packed items as opposed to everything in one container. Order arrived earlier than advised too - which was helpful to me at the time. Overall, a positive experience and I would order from here again. Keep up the good work.

I won’t speak much. I will say the portions were teeny tiny. The rice and peas was the best thing from this meal yet there was a child sized portion of it. The banana cake wasn’t the best, I wish it had come with custard. Yeah I won’t be ordering from here again lol x

A fantastic Caribbean food shop. Clean, friendly and prompt. Service with a smile and you can tell they care about the food they serve. We've been using them for years and have recommended to family and friends. Just saying - a large chicken, rice, peas & steamed veg with lots of gravy meal goes down a treat, especially with daddy. Friendly & welcome staff and clean premises but the food portions are way too small. Ordered a large mixed meal (boneless fish & stew chicken) got 1 piece of fish and 2 small pieces of chicken - that’s not a large dinner portion. The stewed chicken also had too much browning in. Kids meal was value for money.

Really gone down hill. Took ages to come, slighlty warm, gravy is like water. Just not wholesome and hearty as it should be. Very poor!

My ackee an saltfish was brown looked stale swimming in grease. My peas was hard in my rice. My dumpling wasn’t much bigger than a profiterole. So unhappy. Maybe it might have been a bad day for them because I’ve eaten from them before and was ok but once is enough for me not to return

Soup tasted OK. Oxtail did not have enough seasoning and gravy thin and watery. Did not like dumplings or veg. Disappointed in the overall taste and lack of seasonings.

The food is always good - very well seasoned, fresh and tastes great! You get generous portions for the price too. It's definitely the best Caribbean place I've tried in the Birmingham area, I would highly recommend :)

The food was very tasty however the only thing that let it down was the fact it was cold when it got to us.

Delicious as always! The food from here is amazing, I've never had any issues. The portion sizes are more than enough. I won't go anywhere else.

The chicken was so dry it was inedible and went straight in the bin as I couldn’t eat it without it getting stuck. The mutton was tasty however it was around 85% bone. Gravy was nice and my toddler enjoyed the nuggets but that’s about it. Definitely not worth anywhere near what we paid, won’t be using again.

Nice and friendly staff, regular meal was great, but the large was a bit tricky as you got the rice in 1 container and the meat in another, then veg in a little tub.. Which then you have to mix yourself. And being in your car eating, is a bit tricky. Life would of been a lot easier if you got it all in one large container 😉 apart from that all is good 🙏🏿
