Uncle Franks in Cambridge

1st I thought the doner kebab is best here but crunchy delicious chicken strips changed my mind and jump on top today, not only food is awesome, the staff is amazing as well. Must go place

Uncle Frank’s—the undisputed heavyweight of dodgy maths and upcycled cuisine. Handed over a £20 note, got £2 back. Either inflation has hit really hard, or Uncle Frank’s got his own special exchange rate. Apparently, basic arithmetic takes a backseat here, and they just hope you’re too distracted (or too drunk) to notice the disappearing act. Now, about the kebab. Fresh pitta? Sure. But then I had the pleasure of watching the salad and meat get a second chance at life—straight from the bin. Nothing says “commitment to sustainability” like a meal that’s already had a previous owner. Guess the motto here is, “Waste not, want not… and hope the customers aren’t paying attention.” So, if you’re in the mood for a financial magic trick and a kebab that’s played the floor-is-lava, Uncle Frank’s is the place to be. Just keep a close eye on your change—and maybe ask for a fresh batch, preferably one that hasn’t made a pit stop in the bin.

Chips and nuggets 15 minutes??? Shouldn’t take this long and not understanding that it’s too long

The delivery was 40 minutes past when it was reported to be delivered and when it was delivered it was WET (it's not even raining) and so cold I nearly threw up after one bite. Especially given the delivery fee was £7 I am very disappointed.

What a brilliant spot and the food is also amazing

Ordered a burger meal that comes with chips and a drink, they gave me a burger and then got annoyed at me when I asked for the chips and drink I'd paid for. Handed me a Dr Pepper and said there were no other options. Burger had no salad, just a chicken patty and sauce, avoid this place.

I ordered a battered sausage and chips and a pizza. Delivery came 40 mins earlier than expected so it was cold by the time I got it. Sausage was overcooked and pizza didn't arrive. I emailed to ask for a refund or a re-deliver and I was ignored. Utterly dishonest

My daughter waited 1 hr 40 mins for her delivery to come, only to be presented her very cold food, by 3 men as part of Uncle Frank's Very Own Delivery Service. A service and food standard which is sooo bad and goes so slow that even Dr Who time travelling in the tardis, cannot rescue it!!!

The most disgusting food I've ever ordered. I'm honestly shocked at the quality and taste. Chips - foul Cheese burger - Took 1 bite and spat it out. I had to brush my teeth just to get the taste of gone off meat out of my mouth. Chicken in shish kebab & Wrap - Rubbery and honestly tastes like it's been sat out for God knows how long. EVEN THE BURGER SAUCE TASTE SPOILT! £28 wasted. I've never ordered anything so bad.

Blatantly clear that they’re paying for reviews to desperately try not to show that they are a 2 star or below “restaurant” Absolutely no business gets this many reviews at the rate they somehow do, all new accounts too eh? Maybe they should try making it a five star by making the food and experience good instead of being what most people consider a food poisoning hotspot. Avoid! Edit: Hilarious that the owners who can also barely form a legible sentence are threatening to sue me over the truth, yes lads I’m so jealous of your inability to take criticism and horrendous food quality.

It’s so obvious they’re paying for 5* reviews, if they didn’t it would be 1 star 100% Everytime I’ve been here or anybody I know has gone they all say the same thing, it’s a culinary atrocity, especially if you order it for delivery you’ll either not get it or it’ll be missing half of it and it’s stone cold and refuse to give you a refund. Great place to get food poisoning or if you pay cash they’ll only give you a fraction in change. Truly baffling they’re still open, in dire need of a health inspection asap! Maybe somebody can steal their trailer again with any luck.
