Food has gone really down bank the pizzas are dry and tasteless I ordered the madras sauce was greasy on top no taste what so ever will never order from here again

I’m pregnant and really fancied something spicy. So ordered a madras, as it states on the menu it’s “hot” it came covered in a layer of oil and there was no sign of spice at all tasted microwaved. I’ve ended up throwing it back up so let’s just hope I haven’t got food poisoning from this place!!! Disgusting

Been using these now and again for a good 10 years, usually spending at least 30 quid a time. Although 95% of the time you spend most of the day running to the toilet. I found this a compromise with the amount of food for the price! Unfortunately for the last 6 months this has not been the case, they have put prices up and give child like size portions. I've also encountered wrong orders of pizzas. Now this was the straw that broke the camels back for me, a large mixed chicken and chips that contained about 6 chicken nuggets only! I will NEVER use again, the last 5 orders in a row have all been shocking in one way or another.

Umars express lundwood for you. Mouldy 20” pizza. Rang them up to ask for a refund so theyve sent a driver out with a new pizza even though we said to them on phone theres no point in a new pizza as weve already eaten majority of this one so we wasnt that hungry and clearly put off from the fact weve been eating mouldy pizza. Theyve ignored that and just sent us a new pizza. So we told driver and rang the shop back up asking for a refund yet again. He said well we thought as a kind gesture we would send you a new pizza and we cant take it back whether its untouched or not because we cant sell it. So one of kids have had a slice of the new pizza drivers come with our money but then refused to give us it because it wasnt a full pizza. 🤬🤮 check ya food before ya eating it.

Compared to new lodge, it's just awful Pizza with no tomato pizza sauce Make no wonder it was bland.

Even though there was delays due to serious road works the restaurant kept me updated and was very helpful food arrived late but was still very hot and delivery driver was apologetic explaining about the road works great service Thankyou! Food was amazing as always

Received an offer from 3+ re Uber so ordered from here. A little dubious about that because of the recent reviews, but I have to say, the time I requested was spot on, the pizzas arrived hot, I did check with Umars that the order was in place, as never used Uber before. The pizzas were great cooked to perfection, the only thing I would ask is for them to add , thin and crispy base to the menu as well as standard and stuffed crust, that’s just my personal taste. Saved a massive £10 off on this deal, and obviously worth the price. Thanks to 3+ and Umars for the price service and delivery on time. Will definitely be looking forward to the next order, and use again.

The pizza was tasteless! The chicken kebab was spicy and had a tiny bit of salad, mainly onion- will never order again from them. Also almost took an hr and half to be delivered- not fast food

The food came cold they missed our cheesy chips, our coke and all our sauces the food was terrible and they refused to give us money back or give the food we was missing would not reccomend

Awesome delicious pizza and very friendly staff makes this place a must visit when in Barnsley. I travelled here on a recommendation from Doncaster and I am sure that I will return again soon.

Ordered a bbq chicken pizza hardly any bbq you couldn’t taste it just chicken and a kebab with nann that was alright and also two tango ice blasts mixed food arrived after waiting an hour and half with no ice blasts rung up and was told they had forgot them and they have been sent out just be for we phoned 15 minutes later still nothing so rang again and was told 10 minutes they were making some more 30 minutes all together for 2 ice blasts too arrive and they come and they are not mixed

Absolutely awful, complete waste of money

There was one pizza missing from our order, after speaking to the delivery driver, he went back to the store and rectified this without any issues. Mistakes happen from time to time which is understandable but it’s very rare that a takeaway will sort the issue out so quickly like Umar’s did tonight. Very happy with how they handled this and as always the food was delicious!

Ordered food at 1830 took two hours to arrive, food cold. Partners food missing Items. Staff waste of time saying “will be 10 minutes” 30 minutes later still not there. Do not recommend.

I had the chicken korma pizza and onion rings, was absolutely delicious!! It came piping hot and it got delivered super fast! Definitely would order again!!

This review is based on my second ever order as the food previously ordered was nice . Last night ordered a chicken tikka masala with rice ,nan bread , poppadoms and chips. They came before the delivery time their were no poppadoms for starters , as soon as we opened the containers ...it looked disgusting. It smelt horrendous, the masala had an inch of oil floating on the top , the rice looked like no rice I had ever seen before, the nan bread was greasy , so much so that when I actually tried it , it stuck to the roof of my mouth and tasted nothing like a garlic and corianda nan bread...the coriander was just in clumps that looked like it had been put on with a garlic oil . The only thing edible was the chip . We broke the chicken up ,the inside of the chicken was like cardboard ,like you get in cheap chicken nuggets. My son did eat a bit and ended up being sick . I don't think they even know how to cook a curry. If I could post the photos I took especially of the curry believe me I would ! I WOULD AVOID LIKE YHE PLAGUE !

Was 45-50 minutes early and as it was order whilst working, I had to stop my job to collect my food which I couldn’t eat for another 40 minutes. Obviously by which time it was cold and needed warming up

My food never actually came, they just said it was delivered over an hour after it was supposed to be here. I ordered it 2 hours before they stop doing delivery and they accepted the order. I waited 3 hours for food that never came

i tried ringing 3 times my friend has a stutter and she was nervous to call so she let out a few giggles had the phone pit down on us 3 times yet we kept calling trying to apologise had to get a parent to ring up

Delivery was over half hour late and the garlic bread was solid as a rock my 7year old couldn't even chew it and we paid it it wasn't a freebie

The meat was cold,and it was all packed in paper wrap. Asked about two different sauces but get only one which was already on meat and I didn't like it

Food quality is poor and doesn’t match the prices. Biryani was just rice and chicken, no veggies or anything. Curry had separated and the mince used on the naan wasn’t appetising. Overall not worth the money.

After an hour and a half wait, I didn’t expect to get slightly warm chips that were obviously previously frozen. An abysmal thin crust pizza, with next to no toppings, never mind the lack of cheese. You could still see the base through the top of the pizza. Very very poor I must say, won’t be returning to Umars anytime soon!

It took a hour to arrive and the margarita was overcooked.

The chicken donner kebab was inedible due to being far too spicy. This is not explained in the menu, covered with red chillies.

Another terrible service from JustEat, waited over 2 hours for our food. Absolute joke, going to start using Uber Eats so what that service is like.

The worst takeaway I’ve ever had, ordered 2 pizzas and both me and my partner got ill from it. Avoid at all costs unless you want to be throwing up just hours later, delivery is unacceptable arrived an hour late, cheesey poppers were opened and some missing so driver stole some of our food. Phoned up to complain and staff were disgustingly rude. This place should be shut down. DO NOT EAT HERE!

Was waiting an hour food was flat cold phones up said they twas sending new order out would be 25 mins still sat waiting 45 mins and still not here and the woman on the phone her mouth is vile don’t like my review then you know where I live

Delivered promptly but not as hot as I think it should have been. The garlic bread was lacking on actual garlic, a bit stingy with the sauce. Donna kebab pitta was good, just a pity it wasn't that hot.

Popadoms were all smashed into small pieces so don’t even know if we got the correct quantity and the dishes were only luke warm. Complained about popadoms never asked reason but 80p refunded. Very disappointed.

Chicken biryani was mushed up rice and thin runny sauce, the worse biryani ive ever had. Not a sign of any veg anywhere in the rice or sauce. Husband said his chicken curry was poor too. Not be ordering again , ashyana take away will get our money , serves us right for trying somewhere else

Took an hour and half to come, plus the order was wrong. Chilli sauce on kebab instead of garlic which made it inedible.

Ordered a hot dog - recieved one burnt rotten gone off smelling sausage inside a burger bun. Few bits of old looking lettuce on the chicken burger which also had a strange smell to it. Only thing edible was the popadoms and pickle tray. Disappointing as the food is normally fine.
