UMAMI'S Chinese Takeaway in South Kesteven

I've been ordering from Unami's regularly for a few years, and it never disappoints! The food is always so tasty and hot, with great flavours in every dish. The best chow mein I've ever had, no other chinese compares for me. Collection time is super quick, staff are super friendly and the prices are really affordable. Definitely my go-to spot for a delicious takeaway!

Wonderful dishes! Friendly service. Our first time at Umamis but it's already our favourite takeaway! We'll definitely be back!

Food is banging, hot and tasty, full of flavour. Just beware the spring rolls are hotter than the sun but you can't complain at that.

Amazing food and they deliver to us 9 miles away! So tasty, some of the best chinese food ive had in a long time!

It was a birthday and we asked them because it was on a Tuesday and they are closed if they would do it as a special favour. They were absolutely brilliant the food was amazing the service was brilliant and we were so happy with what they did for us. Have been here a few times but will go nowhere else from now on. Hands down one of the best Chinese takeaways I’ve ever had. Ordered a set meal C for my friend and I and it was absolutely incredible. Customer service was great, the staff are lovely and the food was ready really quick. It was so delicious I would 1000% recommend

Nice food and very fast preparation.

Hot, tasty, fresh. All around a very nice meal of hot and sour soup, honey ribs, sesame prawn toast, special rice noodles, large spring rolls, chips, prawn crackers. Ok so first appearance of the shop front wasn't the best however the cleanliness of the kitchen, the service of staff and the meal were all top notch.

Really pleasant people answering the phone which is a rarity for take aways 🤣 Meal A2 is cracking value fo money. So glad mini veg spring rolls are now on the menu. Delicious chow mein. Menu you easy to follow and set out well

Just received our first order from Umami’s and we were very impressed with the food! I am so happy that there is won ton soup on the menu and it did not disappoint. We will be ordering from umami’s going forward whenever we want a Chinese take away.

I found myself having to change the review which I don't ever do. The customer service was amazing! Temperature salt chilli mix for just £12 is a perfect meal for 2. In a time where the price of everything is increasing the attempt to deliver a good produce good price was achieved. Defo ordering again . Well done!!

I’ve just had a fantastic Chinese delivered! Everything was superb! Very friendly staff on the phone, the gentleman who delivered our food was also very friendly and helpful, the food was delivered exactly when I was told it would be and was still piping hot and tasted delicious. Thank you!

Had a takeaway from UMAMI'S tonight. The girl who answered the phone was very professional and polite, the food was delicious, best we've tasted in Stamford. Told us the delivery would be an hour, the food came within the hour and was piping hot and friendly delivery driver. All in all we'd definitely recommend UMAMI'S to anyone!

We've just finished eating our takeaway and we already feel compelled to review. Absolutely beautiful fresh food, and the rice was light and fluffy. We don't have takeaway often as they can sit a bit heavy or your insides feel a bit unclean afterwards, however but this was different. Each dish had been made with quality fresh ingredients (I appreciate the thought that had gone into the accompanying veg with all the meat) and we've been left feeling satisfied and smug! This will most certainly be our first choice for Chinese takeaway going forward.

UMAMI's food is fantastic, we often get their food delivered. The food is hot, the delivery drivers are very kind and customer service is second to none. Don't believe the negative reviews, now the establishment is under new management it has gone from OK, to our regular treat for the week. Keep up the good work 👏

We have been waiting for a chinese restraunt to deliver for ages!… you know when you place your first order somewhere and you sit and think to yourself “oh I really hope it’s good”? well everything was absaloutely delicious, we were very impressed and will definitely be ordering again !!!

Had a great takeaway from here earlier in the week. Food was prepared very quickly, and flavour was good. Sweet & sour was just the right blend of taste, and the curry was also pretty good. Portion sizes are pretty large too, with the egg fried rice definitely larger than I've had from other takeaways. Would 100% recommend.

Was abit unsure of ordering from here coz the last few times it wasnt nice. Now under new management and wow its lovely!! We had a salt and pepper mix box which had abit of everything in it deffo one for the salt and pepper lovers, packed to the brim sooo much food even comes with a sauce and prawn crackers, then also we had a crabmeat and sweetcorn soup which also tasted lovely! Highly recommend! Thankyou will deffo be ordering again. Would of took photos but had already tucked in before even thinking about taking pics lol great friendly customer service too

I have lived in stamford since November 2021. I absolutely love chinese and was getting so down as I couldn't find a nice one around here that any of us liked. We accidentally drove past this chinese last week by getting lost. Typical me lol. Saw it was open and didn't recognise the name from all the ones we have tried so far through Google. I have to say I am sooooo happy we got lost that day. We have finally found a chinese we LOVE . The food was quick the guy who delivered was lovely. Who ever is in the kitchen making all this happen is an absolute super hero. The food was soooo yummy. We had Chinese tonight . They food is amazing and the meat in the Chaw main taste really nice and fresh . The soup I had tasted nice the chicken in the soup didn't taste like water it tasted like to chicken and the flavouring for the soup and my partner said his beef with bean sprouts was nice the bean sprouts tasted fresh . I will be going back to try different dishes . We had ours delivered and the delivery was quick .

We have ordered a number of times and it has been absolutely delicious. Everything is fresh and so tasty. Well worth ordering from here, you won’t be disappointed. Salt and pepper box is great, the bbq ribs are melt in your mouth.

Have been using this Chinese for a number of years and have never had a bad meal Food is always cooked fresh to order and piping hot.

I had high hopes for this Chinese after reading reviews. Boy what a disappointment. The won ton soup taste extremely salty and takes on a very unpleasant smell similar to urine. The spring rolls were dripping in oil and contained mushy oily beansprouts. Stir fried veg had zero taste and fried rice which granted is supposed to be plain but you should still be able to taste the smoke of the wok. I would avoid at all costs in the future.oh yes and no dipping sauce for the spring rolls included. Sacrilege... and binned the lot!! what a waste of £15.60 will be sticking to Zen in the future

The best 5 Star Takeaway for Chinese food in Stamford. The Owners & Staff are great...They always know what I want when I go in for myself & partner. They're so helpful even when you want to change a "Set Menu" for 2.
