Ultracomida in Pembrokeshire

Visited yesterday as a birthday treat for my mum. Extremely disappointed with the size and amount of food in the grazing board and other items ordered. Having looked at photos and reviews before going we were really shocked at the portion sizes. There were only two croquettes and no dipping sauce for £5?? Bread costs £4 per small tin and we had to keep ordering to fill us up. The biggest disappointment was the grazing board with the tiniest pieces of cheese I’ve ever been served - it looked nothing like the photos online. My son had the best value meal with a sandwich. The food was delicious but just not enough by any stretch for the price. Be careful what you order!

We regularly visit this lovely Spanish deli and cafe and make a beeline for the churros. Good friendly little spot with a nice atmosphere. Have found it always a little overpriced since day one but we come back so fair play I guess. 🙃😄

Fabulous place to eat & drink. Very informal (shared tables, etc.), continental atmosphere. Often very busy & need to queue. It's a shop as well, selling high quality Spanish produce. The staff are excellent & very knowledgeable.

Enjoyable tapas, good service. Paid parking nearby, £2.5 for 4 hours I believe. A good variety of tasty tapas options and bigger meals. Others had great looking sandwiches. Communal type seating.

A real gem of the West. As good as ever for lunch today. Sherry and almonds to start then a wonderful goats cheese baked and drizzled with honey - terrific.

This place is so good....been thinking of it ever since my first visit in March and keen to dine here again. Great tapas, friendly staff. Do check website for opening times. Eating area fronted by deli with mouth watering selection of meats, oils, wines etc. Just visit, eat, return for more another day....you won't be sorry.

Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service. Love this place so much. Great restaurant area. Deli is superb. Stuffed full of amazing products ( local and Spanish) and deep product knowledge that is tailored to your personal preferences very successfully every time. Love, Love, Love this place. Fabulous authentic Spanish Tapas.

Had lunch here and really enjoyed the dishes we had, very tasty and was stuffed. Nice to have something different and great shop as well, huge selection of cheese.

Really lovely lunch, we loved the potatas bravas and the chorizo and lentil stew in particular. Very reasonably priced considering how good the food was!

Had coffee which was nice but be aware this place does not take cash which I think is crazy so they lost a £45 min sale because they didn’t take cash !

Incredible place - authentic and accomplished Spanish food, served at communal tables. Everything we had for lunch was delicious. Everything we bought from the deli afterwards was delicious. Worth a visit to Pembrokeshire for this place alone.

Went for a wine tasting and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. I can't wait to go back - the olive oil crisps are addictive

Great breakfast, superb little place

Great place to eat and relax. The tapas was amazing, I would highly recommend it. We forgot to take a photo before we ate, but this was the result.

Cosy tapas restaurant at the back of the delicatessen. Fabulous small plates - all delicious. Our favourites included air dried tuna with goats cheese, honey and toasted almonds; padron peppers; crab croquettes with aioli and unexpectedly for me a black pudding dish with a fried egg!! We were really full but had to have the basque cheesecake - so good. Great wine list too! You can’t book and the kitchen closes at 4.00, but it is worth the wait. Seating is round big tables shared with others but the the atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff are great. Definitely a favourite and will go again!

A lovely place, very relaxed nice selection of light dishes. The deli selection is really nice as well.

We happened upon Ultracomida when trying to escape the rain in Narberth and we are so glad we did!! We had excellent tapas and wine in a relaxed and friendly environment. The deli is also full of treats and is reasonably priced with staff who are well informed about the produce. They are only open during the day but hold tapas, supper club and wine tasting events throughout the year. A real gem!!

Not authentic Spanish Tapas Do not like seating arrangement

Excellent artisan cheeses, air dried ham and dried fruits made a delicious platter. Crab croquettes to die for. Rather fine patatas bravas made me fell like we were Northern Spain. What a joy this place is. Get there early and be prepared to squeeze up ion shared tables but that's all part of the fun!

Lush place, both a shop and for dining. The shop is full of amazing Mediterranean fare, we left Ruth huge olives, sourdough bread & a couple of bottles of red wine. Before that, we sat at one of the three big community tables for brunch, which was delicious. Very authentic with a great atmosphere, we'll definitely go back. ✌️❤️

What a great find this place is! Typically Spanish, the food is absolutely delicious and also very reasonably priced. The staff are also very efficient and welcoming. I would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area. We travelled from our holiday in Tenby and it was worth the journey

Lovely food, lovely staff, good vibes! And everything you can buy for food you can get from the deli which is super good! Plus I loved the little jugs my water came in!

We have been wanting to have lunch here for a while but are rarely in the area, we were not disappointed. We shared a paella, some jamon croquettes and some tempura peppers all washed down with a glass of Crianza. Everything was soooooooo tasty and the staff lovely. We highly recommend.

We’ve visited many times and pilgrimage to this Pembrokeshire gem every time. Go early to avoid disappointment, no reservations, fast and friendly service. Best tapas outside Valencia! Fabulous deli to take away all Spanish treats, oils, pasta sauces, olives …

Brilliant place. Communal eating sharing your table with others in this atmospheric eatery. Had a range of four tapas dishes after greedily enjoying warm ciabata and olives - the food is all top class. The staff are friendly and alert to diners needs. Bottles of oil and balsamic on the tables to top up your dipping dish. Really good to strike up conversation with others,at the table. The dining area sits to the rear of deli shop where there is a huge range of cheeses and cold meats, wine, oil and all things Spanish. Will certainly be checking at Aberystwyth branch of Ultracomida when in that area and revisiting Narberth when I can.

On the recommendations of our host we popped in for lunch. Wow. Everything we had was so good. Enough so that we went back a week later with another couple and it was just as good. Place is on small side and is communal dining but that’s fine by is. That’s half the fun!

Great delicatessen and marvellous dining, if a little pricey. It has a well deserved reputation .

What a wonderful place to visit. Great food, lovely atmosphere and staff. Equal to any tapas I've eaten in Spain. Very enjoyable experience and good value. Also bought a few items in the deli to take home. I am looking forward to a return visit.

Great deli. Came in for a few bits. Had a glass of wine. Ended up buying lots of things for tapas style dinner. Great selection of wines, meat, cheeses etc. Plan to go back for tapas lunch tomorrow.

Popped in for a very enjoyable lunch. If it hadn’t been snowing outside we could have been in Spain! Delicious, authentic food. Definitely worth a visit. Also a lovely deli.

Wow,wow,wow. Such delicious food and my favourite coffee. Unfortunately we end up buying far too much, all our coffee beans come from here and if you like olives, well they are to die for!

What a shambles. Some of the slowest service we have experienced and poor communication. Every issue could have been avoided. Arrived for lunch 20min before special menu ended, aware of the time we asked if we could order straight away and they said there was no rush. 25min later a server took our order... "Sorry specials not available after 3'... Great our worries confirmed. 10min later we tried to place an amended order and then a few minutes later had to pick a third option due to lack of stock. Portions were smaller than others at the table - maybe stretching the stock at the end of service. After 15min after ordering our bread dish still missing. 30min after ordering drinks arrive. After another 20min bread arrived once everything was cold and 3 people had finished... Such a stressful 1h20m, spend the money on ingredients and cook at home. Not our first poorly managed experience here.

Authentic tapas served in a friendly environment. Every time I go the food is brilliant. Never disappoints - totally recommended!

Tricky to find but well worth persisting. Walk through the wonderful delicatessen shop into the back area to discover a fantastic tapas bar. A wide range of wines, vermouth and Spanish beers are served to accompany a similarly wide and mouth-watering variety of authentic tapas dishes. The atmosphere is friendly, relaxed and suitably informal. We dropped in around 3ish on a Tuesday afternoon and were very lucky to find space for the 8 of us around one large table. We all agreed it was a great find and would definitely go back!

Love the Aberystwyth shop and cafe. Narberth is so different. Not as professional or knowledgeable staff. Hygiene a bit lacking. But food os tasty. .

What a fab find in narbeth! A hidden gem that we could have missed but the lovely lady on the nearby dress shop suggested it ! Fabulous atmosphere and very busy ! Real Spanish food and wines ? Loved it

Terrible experience, went to buy locally and was refused to pay by cash, only card payments accepted. I refuse to shop in places where cash is not acceptable. It is about our future, our kids freedom, if we let them get rid of cash we will be controlled every step of the way, every £1 you spend or earn will be monitored and taxed. If you say something they don't like they will switch your wallet off until you start complying. This has already happened in Canada during truckers strike. Will not shop there again!

I have eaten here on several occasions and have never been disappointed. The food is lovely, albeit a bit pricey, but this is made up for by the excellent customer service and the delightful ambience of the restaurant. Sharing tables with strangers may seem daunting, but you can either join in conversations or keep to yourselves. Either way, it's a lovely, lively bustling restaurant with a great delicatessen to make a purchase in afterwards. Thoroughly recommend you try this place out!

Nice place, a bit messy and felt that it needed a bit of a clean..food v nice but king prawns still had digestive tract inside.

Busy busy, but helpful helpful. We sat at the bar and chose what we were going to order from a delicious tapas menu. My wife had salt codon lentil and chorizo stew and I had thinly sliced beef with a scrumptious shaved cheese and oil. My side salad was delightful as was the entire meal. This is an unusual find on the streets of Narbeth, but the town is full of lovely surprises. Totally recommended if you enjoy this traditional Spanish cuisine. Burgers and fries go elsewhere.

Whenever we have visited Narbeth over the last 15 years, we have always pop into Ultracomida for a coffee, snack, brunch, lunch or to buy provisions from the deli area. Coffee is suburb, the selection of tapers for brunch or lunch are the best in Wales. You cannot book a table, so you have to be lucky to get a seat or be prepared to queue, but it is worth it. We called in for coffee early in the day 10.00am a few years back. The cafe was empty except for Kate Blanchard and family having a quiet breakfast, we left them in peace, enjoyed our coffee and went into the deli to purchase some provisions. The deli area has an outstanding array of Spanish meats, olives, wines, beers, cheeses etc. great. Well worth a visit if you are in the Narbeth area, I would not miss it in fact I will be visiting again in a few weeks time, hope I can get in.

Great Spanish Cafe with wonderful grub.

What a find! We visited last week for the first time and were not disappointed. Walking up the high street we came across this fantastic tapas bar and delicatessen by accident. Drawn in by the deli sign we noticed the tapas bar at the rear of the restaurant. Excellent food and better than some of the tapas bars we have been to in Spain Well done an exceptional unexpected experience with fantastic food and service

I recently visited Ultracomida and I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The service was quick and friendly, and the staff were extremely helpful in recommending different wines to pair with the food I ordered. I appreciated the extra attention and care that went into the service, which really added to the overall dining experience. The menu at Ultracomida is also outstanding, with a wide range of meals to choose from. Everything on the menu is clearly made with high-quality ingredients, and the dishes are beautifully presented. I especially enjoyed the meat and cheese platter, which was full of flavor and packed with variety. I also liked the seating area, which forces you to sit with other people and spark conversations. It's a great way to meet new people and make new friends. Been here before just to shop but this time had some food and drink. Very friendly staff and cosy atmosphere. We had some light bites which were delicious. Cheese and ham croquettes and some Spanish style bruschetta with padron peppers. I also had two glasses of the house white which was one of the nicest I've had for some time we bought 4 bottles from the shop (they only had 4 left)! We could have stayed all day. We'll be back again

What a find! Tucked away behind a deli shop ….. a large queue gave it away. The most stunning tapas I have eaten. Prompt & super friendly service showing great pride in the establishment. I would definitely recommend it and will be returning.

Fab shared table experience. Its now a regular haunt.cimein view the deli area, but I'd advise in making purchases after you've eaten as if you really loves something, like a cheese or wine, you can buy from the deli.

We stopped by in Narberth for a stroll around on our way down to St Davids and we thought we would go here for an early lunch. Its a good job we did get in early, the place was packed and we got the last two seats at the bar. There is a reason for the popularity. Its extremely good. A taste sensation. Particularly the creamy mushrooms in sherry.

Friends and I visited Narberth and had lunch at Ultracomida Spanish deli restaurant. We enjoyed tapas, cheeses, cakes accompanied by wines. Delicious! Staff was excellent. Enjoyed the experience. Superb!

Disappointing. Cold room, tasteless chewy iberico pork dish. Best part was the padron peppers And garlic mayonnaise. Didn't taste of much to be honest. Expensive for what it was

Amazing cheese, great Tapas, bar and fabulous people

We popped in her to buy some cheese - we bought lots of cheese from a very pleasant and helpful you lady who understood cheese. We then took a stroll around the other shops before coming back for a cheeky Vermut on tap with some very enjoyable tapas to accompany them. The calamari tasted fresh and clearly had been prepared that day and not frozen, I found the crab croquettes a bit too soft for what I was expecting, but that's personal tastes I guess, the garlic mushrooms on very thin toast on the other hand was the best I have ever eating ion my life - and I've been around a while. If you are in the area, this is the one shop you must visit.

Best tapas this side of Barcelona! No need to say much more but have to get to minimum required! Shared tables just so that you know. Deli at front has great products and it is hard to walk out without a few treats for home. We visit every time we get the opportunity.

Never disappointed, I love this place great food/wine/deli & lovely staff - muy bien

It's like stepping in a Spanish Market with all the cheeses, the olives, the olive oil, the dried meat. They gave us a taste when we hesitated. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The produce is a bit pricey but of good quality. The café at the back was very nice. And it's located in a city you don't want to miss out on visiting. Narberth is well worth a visit.
