Angel Hotel Restaurant in Pembrokeshire

Our family of 4 visited for lunch today. The battered cod was good but expensive. On the whole we found the food to be over priced and un inspiring in both quality and presentation, particularly the salad. Service was slow too. We won't return here.

I've never been here before. It is beautiful. The food was beautiful, the staff are friendly and the drinks are beautiful too.

Recently I was on holidays and just by chance popped into the pub for something to eat, how glad I am that I did, as the food was outstanding I had the pork belly it was perfect, my wife very much enjoyed the nut roast, and other family members really enjoyed their meals also. So much so we returned another twice, and both times enjoyed the experience. Staff were very nice, felt like they couldn't do enough for us. Prices are good also. Surroundings and decor beautiful. Would highly recommend anyone to visit. I liked it so much we are thinking of driving the 2hrs it takes just to have another meal there.👍👍👍

We are local to Narberth. We decided last minute to go for a meal at The Angel as we didn't feel like cooking. We hadn't booked a table but were accommodated anyway. We had been told by many that the food there is delicious. To start we had an antipasto share starter of meats, cheese and olives, absolutely beautiful. Our main meal, my husband had a 10oz Gamon Steak with a perfectly fried egg, pineapple jus, peas and chunky chips which he said was delicious. I had a burger which had bacon, crunchy lettuce, tomato, onion and their own cheesey dressing with Sweet Potato Fries, the beef burger was all meat made out of minced steak, was 8oz, thick and beautifully juicy, a really yummy burger. We had a side of home made beer battered onion rings which were huge, we shared those. We couldn't manage desert as we were so full. Recommend The Angel for eating out very much. You will not be disappointed! They don't have a huge menu as they change it quite often along with the seasonal availability of ingredients, vegetables etc as it is all locally sourced and fresh!

Called in on the off chance on way home from W. Wales. Even though the kitchen were down a hob they still produced some of the best pub grub I've had a in a long time. Will defo call here when down that way again.

We stopped off here for dinner as a treat and it didn't disappoint. The food, staff and atmosphere were lovely. A special thanks to being so lovely to our daughter and the amazing puddings.

Have a take away dinner very very disappointed for £17 each a little bit of meat on the plates no mash one roast potatoes red cabbage very little veg. Would not reccomend at all

We visited here after seeing others recommending it, and we weren't disappointed. We are often let down by restaurants when we eat out, but were relieved it wasnt the case on this occasion. The food was fresh, delicious and affordable, considering the quality. We had a beautiful steak, and a very tasty lamb burger, finished off with rich and decadent cheesecake. Staff were friendly and attentive If you're over that neck of the woods and looking to eat out, definitely give The Angel a try!

Good for a one-off or try somewhere different. Establishment was very well presented, and the menu looked diverse. However, considering the price, it wasn't what I expected.

The food here always used to be respectable but unfortunately it seems to have gone downhill. We had the fish finger sandwich with chips and sweet potato fries for lunch a couple of days ago. The chips were okay but the ciabatta wasn’t toasted and tasted dry and stale. It was far too big for the few dry cod goujons inside. The menu mentioned tartare sauce but there was only a thin smear you couldn’t taste. Handful of plain undressed salad leaves going brown at the edges. Not a satisfying meal at all and very disappointing. Shame because they used to do a really good fish finger sandwich.

Found this place as a last minute turn up and eat for two of us Fri 27/6 about 1730 We was given a large table in the corner which was nice Absolutely fantastic service from waiting staff Very friendly and attentive I ordered the burger and wife the tagliatelle Both meals served hot and especially tasty A couple of wines to accompany Totally recommend and hope to return The glassware for the wines superb 👌 The decor and cleanliness spot on

Fantastic! We rang the morning before for a party of 29. We had to give main choices the next morning by an email they sent. We got to the pub and they had put birthday sign's up because I had told them it was for our brother's 60th. Nice touch. The food was delicious, everyone's meals were hot. The staff couldn't do enough.I can highly recommend 👌

Just what we needed ....after doing the Long Course Swim...fish and chips and lamb burgers. Delish!

Very disappointing lunch time meal, husband had Gammon which was lovely. I had baby ribs that tasted warmed up and dry. Not very warm and even the chips didn’t taste freshly cooked. Wouldn’t choose that dish again.

A lovely pub in Narberth, so nice to get a Guinness after walking all around

Restaurant terrible - had to wait over an hour for food, waitresses fine and only told us they were chef down ! Ok but tell us that when we come in ! Wouldn’t go back well overpriced food (which I don’t mind ) if service is spot on - far from it ! AVOID - book Joes Pizza restaurant. Mike

We didn't stay at The Angel, but we ate there twice during our week in Narberth and the food was fantastic. Great service, lovely dining room. The plaice was amazing. Vegetarian options too. 5 stars

The home of probably the best fishfinger butty you can get. Visited today with my coeliac wife who is very sensitive with gluten, lots of gluten free options available, my wife had the burger, which was a proper burger with chips and all the trimmings, whilst I had the dragon batter fishfingers. Amazing food we were both more than satisfied with the portion size and the taste of the dishes. My wife was even able to have a gluten free lager, I had o% cider. A thoroughly lovely experience made all the better by the friendly staff. If in Narberth this is definitely the place to visit, just make sure you have the fishfinger butty, heaven!! 😁

Amazing staff, very professional and helpful, witty yet informative about menu choices. Food was excellent, only downside was children's portion size is on the small size. But minor gripe against a very happy meal.

Visited here last week prior to going in the Queens, great food, great service, nice choice of drinks especially the Zero percentage stuff. Food was good only think I'd say is the pork on Risotto was a little on the bland side and should've been served with Apple sauce or add another flavour to compliment to pork or something to pick up the Risotto but on the whole I'll be back and highly recommend. 👌🏼

Called I'm for drinks and the place itself it welcoming and relaxed but this was the worst hot chocolate I've tasted it came in a takeaway cup and was cold and had to ask for a spoon for the cream and marshmallows .. hubby had a gin and tonic which he throughly enjoyed but I was a bit disappointed

Had the most incredible brunch/breakfast here whilst shopping in Narberth. A bit of a hidden gem , lovely open fires, cosy rooms and an amazing conservatory at the back. Would highly recommend this place!!

Visited for a Sunday roast with a party of 18 including lots of small children. We had to wait a few minutes past our booking whilst they prepared our table but nothing major. The atmosphere was good. It's not a quiet place which is good when you have lots of small noisy children as you didn't feel like you're disturbing others. The waiting staff were all friendly and welcoming. They didn't take long to take our orders and the food came promptly enough that I didn't feel like I was waiting too long. The portion sizes were good and the food was very nice. There was some confusion over the veg which was to be shared but again nothing major. Overall I would recommend The Angel and if I'm ever in Narberth again would definitely return. There is a paid car park within a 5 mins walk

Lovely atmosphere and a really good selection of food and drinks

Beautiful dining area and food was absolutely delicious! Interesting dish combinations that really complimented flavours. Waitress was incredibly accommodating and lovely. Only downside to the night was that one member of our party didn’t receive his starter and manager wasn’t willing to compromise a little off the deposit to compensate.

Came with my parents who don’t live in Pembs and it was a really lovely evening. Our mains were delicious, never had Orzo before tonight and it was outstanding. Would recommend coming here

Lekker gegeten, er was ook veel keus. Het eten was in verhouding niet duur, ook wel eens fijn. Er was een speelgedeelte voor de kinderen; niet al te uitgebreid, maar de kinderen hebben zich er wel even gemaakt. Ook was er gratis wifi; altijd handig.

We ate her as we didn't fancy eating at our B&B.; We both thought our meals were good value, even if the décor is a bit jaded. We would certainly eat here again.

Oímos mucho sobre este lugar, así que decidimos darle una oportunidad ya que tenemos niños pequeños y tiene una sala de juegos para que los niños jueguen. Pedimos varias comidas diferentes como un grupo de 7 y yo pedimos el curry después de preguntar si estaba caliente me dijeron que no es como un korma, así que como no me gusta mucho calor pensé que parecía perfecto. Cuando llegó era de pollo en salsa de tomate y sin sabor, aspecto y sabor nada como una salsa de curry, pero más para la pasta. Después de preguntar a la camarera si realmente era curry, ella me dijo que sí, me explicó que no era nada como un curry y podría por favor cambiar mi comida, ella no estaba contento con eso. Debido a tener niños y otros comiendo me preguntó qué es rápido para cocinar fuera del menú, me informaron de chili no era agradable y caliente... bien decir que hacía calor es insuficiente sabía que ellos habían hecho y usado en polvo crudo chili en la parte superior. Fue que un amigo caliente que era comedor con que me sabía y le encanta la comida caliente, pero dijo que también era un calor extremo y no comestible, mis frustraciones ahora edificio porque los niños habían terminado su comida y bastante harto debido a la larga espera que tuvimos. El personal parecía no importarle cuando me elevo mi temas para una segunda vez, también los fumadores chef fuera de la puerta de atrás no parecía muy profesional. En general, una experiencia muy triste

Had a lovely lunch with our young family, the kids really enjoyed playing in the kids area. The kids meals came in a box which they found amazing. The staff were friendly. The coffee nice.

Reserva en una "oferta", práctica posición High Street, pero lo siento muy dentro del estado. Decepcionado con la habitación, me sentí sucia, encontramos un par de calcetines en la mesa y alguien ha dejado un libro en uno de los cajones. No hay toallas en la habitación y media un rollo de papel higiénico en el baño, aunque habíamos reservado meses para una estancia de 3 noches. El desayuno era muy bueno, pero decidimos no quedarnos como no sentirse feliz.

Martes húmedo en junio. Inicialmente vacías comedor ligeramente rígido. Servicio amable. Tenía el chili y pollo al curry de las dos para £12 menú. Tomó un largo tiempo para llegar no varían. Recién preparado y obviamente hecha en casa en un buen sentido. Porciones grandes. Muy sabrosa. Altamente recomendado.

Had fish and chips there for nearly half the price of a café in the town, it was really good value and plenty of it .

Good food & comfy beds, excellent hosts & a good base to visit other parts such as Tenby which also has a history.

Queso frito entrantes profundos exageradas, quemado hamburguesas y mi esposa tenía un repugnante recalentadas. lasaña Los precios son considerable (10 libras por una hamburguesa), pero la calidad era terrible. Para mi marido y principal 3 niños tenían las hamburguesas, todos eran exageradas, quemado en los bordes y secos. El pan se resquebrajó porque estaba tan seca, horrible! Tuve la lasaña casera, de nuevo, en realidad de verdad recargado, parecía que había sido calentado y rewarmed tantas veces la salsa blanca sobre una capa gruesa de pasta de papel congieled pulgadas pared con mea completamente seco por dentro, patatas fritas hard rock también. La única decente nos servían finas los músculos de mis hijos ordenados, mi única queja aquí fue por £11.00 ella tuvo una pequeña porción! No puedo decir cómo estaban viejas y el lugar es, una sombra de sí mismo, que habíamos visitado hace 11 años. Es una pena.

Hemos comido en el Angel muchas veces. La comida es muy buena y a un precio razonable. El bar normalmente tiene 2 cervezas muy bueno. Tengo que decir que no parece haber suficiente personal de guardia. Así que el servicio puede ser muy lento.

El lugar estaba bastante . . Compramos nuestro bono de groupon . . Tomó un poco de tiempo para el hombre del bar a aceptar que el código que me había dado fue aceptada . . (Se le mostró la compra en mi Tablet )pero. Él quería una copia impresa no el código que me había dado . . . . La comida era comestible no merece la pena el largo viaje en coche de 40 mini para llegar hasta allí. . .

Fuimos para un descuento en comida de 2 platos. el restaurante y el bar tenían un entorno agradable y cálido y agradable en una noche fría. Yo tenía un entrante en una selección de unos 5 y mi esposa tuvo el postre nuevo fro opciones múltiples. el plato principal era bistec y todos los adornos, relación calidad-precio, bien presentada y cocinado aunque el bistec estaba un poco exageradas. las raciones eran buenas y el precio fue excelente. También tienen 2 comidas por £12, que también tiene buena relación calidad-precio.

Visitamos desde Bluestone para comer el domingo después de leer varias críticas de la zona en Tripadvisor. La comida era deliciosa y fueron capaces de ofrecer una opción vegetariana. Teníamos 2 almuerzos, 2 postres, bebidas y café por £23, que era excelente relación calidad-precio. La comida tenía ese sabor casero encantador y el servicio era excelente, nada era un problema. La decoración no es ultra moderno pero era utilizado por los lugareños que estaban encantados de charlar. Sin duda volveremos cuando estemos en la zona de nuevo.

We have had meals here in the past and have never been disappointed. Yesterday we were offered a pudding and we both decided on the chocolate orange cheesecake. Wow what a lovely desert, light, fluffy, great biscuit base and very tasty.

Tenían decorada año pasado y me perdí los cojines en la zona de asientos, pero eso es sólo yo. El personal hace todo lo posible por complacerte y están atentos a sus necesidades. Los precios son razonables y la comida era muy buena. Siempre se puede encontrar un carácter local para comer allí, lo que agrega a la experiencia en general. Pero reconozco que era un poco de entretenimiento en el fin de semana o un domingo por la tarde artistas atraen a más turistas durante la temporada pero no aprecio que éste podría ser demasiado caro. en este tiempo de lucha económica que tienen para sentir todos amables hosteleros/pub encargado que están tratando de ganar una buena reputación, tienen precios competitivos y hacer feliz a todo el mundo, ¡bien hecho - gracias

Had a lovely family meal here. They do 2 for 1 on certain dishes. We all had steaks and they were cooked perfectly. Very good value for money.

Great value for money, friendly service, never pressured. Lovelly evening after a disastrous start at the Boars Head. Mixed Grill is huge, everything is cooked well and to our liking. Great place to eat no airs and graces just simple food.

El bistro de pub ha sido renovado y amueblado con un buen restaurante. Cada visita en los últimos meses ha demostrado la consistencia de las comidas. La zona de comedor tiene una gran zona abierta y también algunas zonas hueco para mayor privacidad, donde se puede disfrutar de la comida. El propietario y el personal es amable y acogedor y el servicio es bueno. Carnes son realmente bueno.

Went on a sunny Saturday lunch time. Took advantage of the 2 for 1 deal. Lasagne and Ham Egg and Chips. Generous portions and excellent off the bone ham. Together with a pint of lemonade and lime, came to just over £11. Would highly recommend.

Hemos estado en este restaurante dos veces y es un lugar muy bonito y acogedor. La comida fue excelente, con muy grandes porciones. Teníamos gambas y patatas fritas en el dos por una oferta, una relación calidad-precio fantástica. Los postres eran tentador pero no tienen suficiente espacio para probar! El personal era agradable y el restaurante estaba muy limpio. Sin duda volveremos.

Estábamos alojados localmente en un B&B; y decidimos llamar aquí para el 2 por 1. Fue excelente. Mi pollo al curry fue justo. Mi marido tenía el chili, que, como dijo un anterior habían comentado, hacía mucho calor, pero él lo disfrutamos mucho. Este restaurante parece muy familiar y la camarera era encantador.

Good pub food very reasonably priced 2 main meals for the price of one , if you have the Chilli also ask for a glass of water , tasty but very hot, good menu to choose from

This was our first time here. Did the two for one deal and good grief I could hardly finish it as there was so much. Lots of beautifully cooked chips and the gammon was nice too. Will definitely go again.
