Udon in Merton

The food was mostly good but they were late and the restaurant wasn't answering the phone. In the end just eat tracked the manager down who had to deliver it herself as they had problems with the driver. Hopefully this was a one off!

Delivery early was great! As wanted ASAP just quicker the predicted! Lacked a little flavour in the Singapore noodles and the crispy beef! All tastes a little sweet, but not, not nice, just needed a little more depth!

Had to contact just eat twice to find out where my food is.....when it did arrive food was luke warm..no offer of prawn crackers or anything by way of apology.

Was offered to either collect my own food, reorder and get food for half price or to just wait. Food was luke warm when it finally arrived. Pad Thai was dry.

Ordered for the first time. Collection was ready exactly when they said it was, no waiting around. I had the katsu curry and the spicy squid, both pretty big portions, good tasting. The rice and greens were fresh, the curry was a little oily but still very good. Thanks.

The chow mein was a bit stingy on the meat and slightly greasy, but all together very tasty. Sushi and Sashimi were fresh. My toddler demolished the Singapore fried rice! He loved it. Would use them again.

Delivery was exactly when they said it would be and the food was excellent. However, while I received ample amounts of ginger, soy sauce and wasabi, I was rather surprised that chopsticks were not included with my order.

Great quality, taste and huge portion size - will most certainly be ordering again. Loved it!

Food was amazing as always but I have noticed that every time I order recently the portion sizes are getting smaller and smaller. I'm starting to feel a bit ripped off.

Originally said delivery would take half an hour, then added 10 mins. Checked app and said had already been delivered after an hour. It hadn't! Called restaurant after an 1.15 was told another 10 mins. Still not arrived after 10 mins so cancelled order! Annoying!!!

Chicken pad Thai was superb, would definitely order again. The gyoza and dumplings were disappointing, I found the dough thicker than I prefer. Taste was good though

My order was 25 minutes late and when I checked the Just Eat app it said my meal had already been delivered. I tried calling the restaurant to find out what was going on but couldn't get an answer. The food arrived soon after I tried calling, some 30 mins late, and nearly an hour and a half after I'd placed the order.

Normally this place is amazing but my last order was 2 hours late. The salmon was black and the makeral was off. Really disappointed.

Food arrived 50 mins later than advised. Called restaurant and they explained they received the order late from just eat. Ordered at 7:20 got food at 9pm, food was quite nice but delivery service terrible. Will not be using again

Delivery was meant to take 45-60 mins, we waited 90! Food wasn't particularly hot. Maybe just a bad night? 20% off was a good offer for this takeaway but next time I'd pay the extra and order from somewhere else.

Salmon was cooked perfectly and the pie was lovely. Only thing was miso soup base for the ramen was a bit bland. Would order from here again though.

After waiting over an hour and 15 minutes I called to chase up my order. I was told I'd be called back with an update but wasn't. When the food finally arrived it was warm verging on cold. We had to heat it up ourselves. It's fair to say that we won't be ordering from Udon again.

This was the worst Japanese food I've ever tasted. No, wait, it was the worst food I've ever tasted. I ordered a chicken teriyaki bento box. There wasn't any teriyaki sauce, it was plain, dry chicken on a bed of overcooked, soggy broccoli. A massive portion, of plain unseasoned old rice, and very soggy prawn toast. I also ordered sushi, which was ok but I believe it had been ordered in and was not made fresh on the premises. I will never order from this place again. An expensive lesson learnt.

Delivery was quick and efficient sushi was ok not the best I have tasted not the worst but what was extremely annoying I ordered funky pie as dessert but instead I received hand rolls when I tried to call to let them know (in case it was some else's plus I really wanted my desert). I could not find a number to contact them all numbers online where classified as a wrong number hence the low service review

The food was ok apart from we ordered a £16 Sushi meal box and it was tiny and looked more like a £5 shushi box. We have ordered a £16 one before to share and they have been enough for 2 people but this one wasn't even enough for one. Very disappointed. Too much money for what we got in the sushi.

I got mackerel scrombosis from eating the mackerel sashimi! Not nice at all!!!!!!! Never would I order putrid mackerel from there again!!

We ordered same dishes b4 but this time seem too spicy. Cut down on the chillies.

Tempura Prawn Shoyu Ramen – Hugely disappointing. The tempura prawns still had the intestines in, which I find very off-putting. The only veg was pak choi, spring onion and beansprouts, and an exceptionally large amount of mint totally overpowered any other taste. I ate about 3 mouthfuls and threw the rest away- a total waste of £9.90 Tofu and Vegetable Pad Thai – Surprisingly this was really very tasty. Food arrived 10 minutes before the expected delivery time, which is good, but on the whole the ramen really spoiled the meal. I would not recommend this take-away and will not be ordering from here again.

Service was ok, but the food is not value for money. Not the quantity of sushi I'd expect for over £30.

Terrible I had Singapore Noodles - no chilli - don’t use ever again. Food tasted like nothing. They forgot half the order and had to go back. No apology. Told outlet won't be using them again.

Ordered and the order was accepted by the restaurant. Waited over 1.5 hours. Tried to phone over and over and was either engaged or rang with no answer. Another 30 min later it suddenly showed up as closed. Dreadful service.

Waited 1 hour and 35 minutes after ordered, then got a phone call saying that they weren't going be able to do the order as they had no drivers. Completely unacceptable. I would advise never to order from this restaurant if you want to eat.

Not as good as usual, took FOREVER to arrive and I had to call twice. Food was nice when it arrived but cold. Not up to their usual standard.

My flatmates were very pleased with their food but my chicken teriyaki was so bland. It was just dry chicken with no sauce. Food came on time though.

Came early and really tasty. They served me from 4 miles away, when a take-away that was only 2.5 miles from my address refused my order because it was "too far". Would definitely order again!

First time to use Just Eat & Udon restaurant... Very disappointing delivery time was 1 hour 20 minutes, some food items were cold and noodle soup was stodge.. Understand very busy, but no excuse for 25 minutes late and no apology from delivery driver. Would not recommend. Sorry......

Very tasty and delicious. Worth all the money.

Chopsticks were not included. The fish and chicken in the bento boxes was overcooked, very dry. Sashimi and prawn tempura was nice.

In short, this place is below average at best. Ordered a Pork Katsu and some rainbow rolls, advised via email expected delivery time was 19:40 (just under an hour of placing the order and order placed directly with the restaurants kitched). At 19:50 my meal still had not turned up so I called them to see where it was, it took them 5 mins to work out if the order had even left their kitchen, eventually they told me it would be with me in 5 mins. At 20:05 still no food so i rang back and asked to speak to the manager, again it took them 4 mins to find the manager. When I eventually spoke to the manager, they were overly helpful either and didn´t seem overly bothered that my food had not arrived... Food turned up at 20:10 and guess what the katsu was cold. Was only offered an cancellation but as it was 10 past 8 and i was hungry i had the meal. It was average at best, the rainbow rolls were disgusting... I will not bve ordering food from these jokers again thats for sure.

sushi wasnt that great for the price - and they didnt provide chop sticks!! wonton soup was good, small given the price. Sushi would do if you had a craving and want it delivered but i will wait next time for a proper restaurant.

the food was delivered an hour later in dripping containers in a dripping plastic bag the delivery man threw in my arms. the food was overcooked and disgusting.
