Great place after gym or during a shopping trip on the Broadway. We love to go there as for a family lunch too. Nice staff and great food.

The shawarma is simply delicious, especially when Abdullah is around.

Cute little place with about 12-14 chairs. Tasty food and big portions. Proper takeaway place as there is no table service or water glasses, but they have knives, forks and serviettes so it is possible to eat in. We ordered the starter mix and the mixed grill and it was enough for 2 women with some leftovers that we brought home.

The best lamb kebab I ever had! Portion was generous and I received the best customer service! Highly recommend!

The food is so delicious, with good prices! It is so efficient, it takes only 5-10 mins, from ordering to getting the food! Staff are really nice and friendly, always make sure we have plenty of food/sauce. Environment is good, clean and comfortable!

This is a very small takeaway shop, perfect for a quick grab and go! The food is amazing and the staff are so so friendly (got offered free chips after a night out). Sisters been here a few times and recommended it, definitely was a great shout. Very very small, but it does have tables to sit in and eat.

Friendly service and fresh food

If you want a place with honest customer service and accurate opening times then this is NOT the place!! Being a customer for 3+ years I was sadly disappointed when I called just before 11pm to place an order to be told the establishment was closed. It clearly says on their website that they serve until 11:30pm. Therefore I was not served and the ‘owner’ didn’t even apologise for the misunderstanding of the website opening times.

We’ve been charged a different price than the price advertised on the lunch deal outside the shop. Rice quantity is too little too.

They tried to charge me double. I asked for small chicken wrap, I paid by contact less, the waiter said a complete different amount so I asked for the receipt and when he gave me, he charge me the price of two wraps instead one. The manager gave me back the money in cash. Very evidence bad behaviour. Please be careful and always check the cost and what you are paying.

Omg I've hit the jackpot with this place. Love the new meal deals! Literally eat here twice a week. Food always delicious and authentic. Both of the main servers here are friendly and truly care about there customers!

Ordered 3 falafel wraps and three lots of chips both with chilli and garlic sauce, one of the best shops I’ve ever tried!! As a vegetarian trying a lot of falafels this one is superior, watched him make the falafels fresh then cook them amazing so good…. Will be returning.

Won't be coming here again I got bad stomach and had to go hospital since I ate it?

I popped in for a snack with a friend. We've both had the Aya experience before, which is amazing! It smelt so good when we walked in. It was busy, which is always a good sign. We chose a selection of starters to share, hummus with bread, falafe,l and tabbouleh all freshly prepared and delicious our perfect snack.

Lovely store, the man cooking and serving was really nice, I only wish it was more of a sit in place, we sat in and they were lovely but it was cold because it's not designed for that. But if you're taking away it's worth it for the food as it was delicious! Good portion too.

Abdullah makes the best falafel and shawarma sandwiches a la libanais in London. I strongly recommend u try it.

Friendly staff, I had a chips and it was great and the topping sauce (spicy ketchup and mayonnaise) made it more delicious, the only downside is they served it in the foam box which was melted on the hot chips which isn't healthy if you eat and the plastic fork was the reason I give 4 stars and I hope they stop using those foam and plastic forks and start using cardboard food trays/boxes and wooden forks

Although the food is great the service needs improving, my family and I waited an hour to receive our order after being told it would take 10-15 mins, they then served all the other customers that came into the shop after us and we were still waiting for our food. Wasn’t the best experience.

I’m a regular no more. Food quality has dropped massively over the past couple of months. Ordered Farouj Meshwai today, it smelled so bad and tasted like it was cooked yesterday and reheated today. Gave it more than one chance but never again!

Used to love eating here. The Halloumi kebabs were so tasty. The quality has gone from 5 stars to no stars. They deep fry the halloumi rather than chargrilling it. The last 2 times i've had it, it has been bland and greasy. I don't know how salad, Halloumi and sauce can have no flavours. They were always generous with portions but they've halfed the sizes of the portions. A waste of money for the portion size. Very disappointed.

Very attentive and kind service

Horrible service This rude person over the phone dragged me on for over an hour and a half waiting for my order (the app was showing us pending the whole time) and everytime I call he says (we are preparing your order) then I call again he says yes it's left its on the way!! I call back a third time he tells me I need to contact deliveroo becoz the order was prepared and sent 20 mins ago They never accepted the order in the first place we were told

These guys smash it out of the park when it comes to Shwarma and Shish kebabs. Get a big Shwarma to take home in the evening, ask for a small one with chips as a great lunchtime filler. Lots of good tasting meat and fresh veg. Go!

I found the staff to be extremely rude and completely ignoring the customers at times. I asked for garlic and chilli sauce on my wrap. I didn't see him put it on and asked him. He said he put it on but when I opened it there was none. When I complained he could not have been less interested. I would avoid this place at all costs!!!!!

Lamb shawarma is nice. Well priced for the portion you get. If it's been sat there for a while it can dry up and they will still serve you the other dry meat

This used to be my go to place with my sis when I used to live in Wimbledon for 8 years. Came back and took my husband and he loved the lamb wrap and the falafel wrap. Owner still grumpy but if you are nice enough to him he will start smiling again. This place has survived for so many years for a reason. Good reliable food, no frills and hits the spot. Not pretentious or trying to be something it’s not, unlike Kababji next door where locals don’t go.

I have been coming here for about five years now, and I can say without a moment’s hesitation that this is some of the best Middle Eastern food I have ever tasted. Their meats are delicious, and I especially enjoy the halloumi wrap, if eaten with chips it makes a really great, fulfilling meal. To bring it all together, they serve it with these one of a kind chilli and garlic sauces, when combined it is honestly to die for. I could not recommend this place more, and if you want a more formal experience, they have a restaurant near South Wimbledon station.

Avoid... Don't get fooled walk a bit further and you will find the aya. This last new year I walked in and I hear the guy having an argument with a customer about the price, he was saying new year prices It was double price as usely, that was a girl she was telling them I will call the police.

The lamb in this place has so much fat!! I took a few bites and the meat felt like jelly. When I opened up the wrap, the lamb Was covered with fatty bits. It Was disgusting I had to throw the whole lamb wrap away. Very disappointed.

My regular shawarma place while I worked on Wimbledon for 3 years. So good I even managed to convince the team to make it their regular place for the team lunch. Chicken shawarma meal with extra garlic and chilli. Can’t go wrong. Great service, popular with the locals (queues get long at lunch), not bad for eat in and great value. Don’t hesitate to visit!

Best grilled halal food in Wimbledon

I have been visiting this place for a long long time especially their colliers wood branch where I have been going for over 10 years but the service offered tonight by this guy who called himself Ali was apalling... he was so rude from the minute we entered the restaurant that by the time our food arrived we left so upset that we didn't even eat our meal... had an argument and paid the full bill without touching most of the food. Spoilt what was our lovely night otherwise in wimbledon.

I walked into the shop to eat in, and I felt like I'm in public toilet (smelled so bad) so I got a mix shawarma to take away and believe me, it was the worse shawarma I've had in my life, and some how they charged me £10 for small shawarma. It was just horrible and I don't recommend it.

This is a small sit in and popular takeaway, Lovely food just like other Aya stores, Staff is very friendly. Abdullah is a Star, Very easy going character.

Unable to give 0 stars, even 1 is being kind. I ordered a chicken shish tawouk earlier this afternoon, and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes, during which time I left the restaurant and headed to the Broadway to do some shopping. I come back 10 minutes later and the bald guy ( think he's new) hadn't even put the chicken on the grill, much to my disgust no apology offered either, other than "Would you like the chicken shawarma?" He quickly attempted to put the chicken shish on the grill but I told him not to bother and walked out. Really bad and pathetic service, won't be coming back again.

Asked for chicken shawarma, got given a lamb one instead. The wrap (a tortilla was used, not even khobez bread or anything authentic) fell apart instantly in my hands. Got snarky comments when I asked for chilli sauce. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Rude staff. This is not a restaurant but a small take away place. At this cost you can find any restaurant in wimbeldon with a good service. Not recommended at all.

Rude staff more interested in looking at girls and chatting than doing their jobs. Wraps (store-bought) disintegrate within minutes. Not great experience in the loo the next morning either.

Kebab was average. Guy serving was rude.

Staff were so rude. They spoke about us and laughed behind the counter. They wouldnt tell us how much the food was! Then the man serving us charged us for cans of drink which we didnt order and hendidnt give us until it was quiried and finally he over charged us for the two means by nearly £5. Such an awful experience i dont think i will ever be returning. Also emailed in a complaint which was never even acknowledged.
