The Dutchie Restaurant Catering Kitchen in Merton

The last time I ordered from here the dumplings and chicken were raw, I think they have a new chef because the gravy for the fried chicken was like water with chillies flakes.. This place used to be so good it just gone downhill in the last year or so.

Ordered from these lot 5 times and orders cancelled after half hour everytime joketing

paid £11.95 for ackee and saltfish and recieved a quarter of a container

Ordered curry goat and it was watery and oily also not that tasty! The coleslaw wasn’t even coleslaw or was dry with a very thin, watery coating which I guess was supposed to be mayonnaise (I added my own to it, as it was practically dry) Also the portion size of the coleslaw was poor I do not think that was 8oz at all! Considering how much everything cost it was definitely not worth it! Will not be ordering from here again! I do not recommend!

lack of professionalism with delivery people, there are two restaurants in the same place and a lady to serve both! I'm a driver yesterday I went to collect two orders there made me wait for a while while an order was ready, it arrived at the cold customer and she still rated me negative on the app, no driver likes to collect there! she is very uneducated! for this reason the food arrives cold.

Ordered curry goat roti and jerk wings. Order arrived cold, badly packaged with spillage. Also Dutchie forgot to pack the actual rotis so all I got was the curry goat. Tried calling but can’t get through. Waited over 90 mins and spent £32. I’m thoroughly disappointed

Unfortunately over promised, and underwhelmed. Ordered using Deliveroo, and when it arrived I was so disappointed with food. Portions ridiculously small given the price (especially the rice and pea's) and the meat dishes were swimming in gravy, hardly any meat. Chickpea curry was hard (chickpeas not cooked properly), and chicken curry was not good at all, also I ordered boneless and it turned up on the bone. Macaroni cheese was tasteless and so wrong, and the cabbage, if it only looked like the picture would have been a good start. I really wanted to enjoy this meal, really did; but overall the food was tasteless and not representative of carribean food. Think this place could be good, and I hope they consider all the reviews they receive. Maybe I'll try again in a few months, and hope to be pleasantly surprised.

Second time ordering first time the food was lovely this time around the fried chicken was bleeding on my plate. Both pieces. Not safe

On more than 3 occasions this restaurant have got my order incorrect. 2x means 2 of the item not one. Have a look at other restaurants before ordering

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Have given this place the benefit of the doubt too many times. Wanting to support black owned..blah blah.. Shocking customer service and you are LUCKY if u actually get what u order!!! Spent over £60 last night for a birthday meal...3 people including me did not eat. We ordered boneless goat...got goat on the bone. Boneless jerk chicken ...got curry chicken The ackee was GREY!!!!! The jerk pork WAS PURE FAT You call....no answer, so they win either way as Uber will only refund y PART of the money u spent.. Sorry, but will NOT be ordering or recommending this place Bunch of crooks!!!!!!

I ordered through Uber the Negril Platter came on the 19th Nov. 22 at 19.52pm ticket 2F035 When open it was mac and cheese with prawns. We ordered a second time after calling the Mitcham Willow Lane branch to tell the incorrect order was sent even though the ticket stated what we ordered. The second one came on EE313 at 20.49 This time there was no chicken but fish fried in batter with bammy prawns and dumplings. All she needed to say was they did not have any chicken wings and we would not have ordered again but to state something on paper different from what was in the bag is a dam shame and insult. You will never get a star, I hope Uber Eats stop delivering your food, apart from the wrong item the food was so cold. I could never recommend this to anyone it is a sham of a "dutchie" I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!

Second time ordering from this place and second time items were missing. Tried calling numerous of times and no answer. Unacceptable,disgraceful and unsatisfactory. Will not be ordering again.

Was such a loyal customer to this place and would have continued but yesterday they messed me up big time. Took ages to deliver kept delaying didn’t seem to know where the drivers were and called me asking me if the food had arrived when it hadn’t. Then sent me a completely wrong order of curry chicken which looked stale. Then proceeded to not answer any of my multiple calls which could have given them the Opportunity to rectify the issue. Instead don’t pick Up the phone on numerous occasions they are a good Business they have no excuse not to pick up a phone that’s been rung multiple times. Won’t ever order here again and have made a full complaint through just eat.

Food was horrible . Mac cheese tasted like it was out of a frozen packet . Food had no taste . I eat West Indian food more then regular. So this wasn't a good experience at all .

Really disappointed. Ordered for delivery at 7:30 and it just got cancelled at 8:55. Food was meant to arrive by 8:40 latest then got a notification saying it would be here by 9pm then 8:55 cancelled. This is the second time this has happened so we didn't order for several months and thought we would try again and this happens. So disappointed because the food is good but to cancel an hour and a half after the food has been ordered is unacceptable and now having to order something else at this time of night isn't great. Wont be ordering from here again.

Food was okay but missing items in order. Called a few times but no answer.

Placed an order for this and had items missing. The quality of the food was poor & all felt like it had been microwaved and was not fresh. Tried calling multiple times but no one picks up the phone. Will not be ordering again, very disappointing.

Ordered 4 times in total from the Dutchie, three times with wrong items sent / missing items. No calls answered and below average food

Have eaten in and had multiple deliveries from The Dutchie but there have been too many issues lately. The rice has been tasteless and clumpy. Numerous times it had more pimento seeds than kidney beans! The fried chicken has been overcooked and a few times it is old chicken with black parts (I have pictures). The most recent delivery (this evening) the portion sizes were ridiculous and jerk pork was burnt - had to throw in the bin. I ordered the jerk chicken and jerk pork combo which is supposed to include half a jerk chicken but I only received three pieces which were cut from a thigh. My recommendation would be to dine in, especially their Croydon branch which is great, rather than getting it delivered from the Mitcham branch.

I ENJOY THE FOOD, BUT I AM UNHAPPY THERE IS 'ALWAYS' AT LEAST 1-4 ITEMS OF FOOD MISSING FROM MY ORDER. I HAVE TRIED CALLING THE PHONE NUMBER SHOWN, BUT NO ONE ANSWERS. THIS IS A RIP OFF AND TAKES CUSTOMER LOYALTY FOR GRANTED.

The food is absolutely delicious! This was my first experience and I’m definitely coming back for more real soon!!! It was piping hot too!!

Ordered fried chicken with rice and peas, Crispy and big portion. The plantain was just ok.. but the main tasted good & good value!

Really good curried goat and the roti is amazing. Will DEFINITELY order again.

Banging jerk pork. Banging rice and peas. Banging "festi balls" Jerk chicken a sad let down. Don't give people roast chicken with jerk sauce poured on it. Banging. Thats what you need to know though.
