Pepe's in Merton

Pepe's is the regular go to for me. Met a friend here for dinner as we often do. Upgraded my fries to wedges, and it was great. Lovely mango and lime flavour half chicken with a drink. You do have to wait for your order but that is how you know it is cooked there and then. The sauce included, garlic mayo based, is lovely. Highly recommend this place.

The food was amazingly seasoned and flavourful. Not to mention lady at the front desk is very welcoming and helpful. Furthermore the chicken is incredibly tender to the point where every bite is tastier than the last.

Pepe’s never fails to satisfy me, but I’ve noticed that the flavor doesn’t hit the same as it used to. That being said, I’ll still keep ordering from here because it’s one of my favorite spots for 1/2 chicken with fries and rice (family platter combo)—no matter how unhealthy it is! It’s a go-to comfort meal that I can’t resist. 😂

I used to order from Pepe's quite a bit. I ordered a paneer rice box after a long time today and they've reduced the amount and size of the paneer. Also paneer doesn't taste fresh.

Took 20 mins to get my food. Portion sizes are outrageous. Barely any chicken and too much rice. The rice was powdery and had no flavour. Your local chicken shop would be better to get peri peri chicken in my opinion. Chicken was nice and juicy though.

Fantastic flame grilled chicken across the menu, very consistent (I visit every week). The rice is unbelievably good, the sauces that are prepared in house are excellent and they also have a decent selection of vegetarian options that are very tasty. Excellent value considering the quality of food. The restaurant is comfortable to eat in, very spacious and always clean. Staff are very polite and efficient.

Yesterday i went to pepes with my friend jabbar the slim scarf girl took his order and she was very rude and annoying and today same happened to me but another girl is very strange like the staff If they don't wanna work and don't wanna take order why they working and I have confused in menu and they even don't bother to help me

I recently visited Pepe’s in Morden and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The front desk staff member who was wearing a headscarf was not friendly and seemed disengaged. I felt that she wasn’t listening to my instructions properly, which made the entire interaction frustrating. As a result, I felt unwelcome during my visit, and I will likely avoid this store in the future.

This is definitely one of my favourite places to go, this branch is one of the best I have been to and now we are regulars .. We thoroughly enjoyed the food on every occasion it's always delicious and always consistent.. Above all the staff are so kind and sweet especially (Ramsha) she is so professional and polite and extremely helpful Lovely girl.. Definitely our weekly go to restaurant .. Shame.. we were so hungry we didn't take any pictures 😊 but definitely next time.

I won't complain anything about the food. But the attitude of the staff towards the customer is so rude and cannot be tolerated. I don't wanna complain about the whole team. A lady who was speaking hindi was not interested actually to take the order and was not ready to clarify with doubts in the menu, her facial expression and behaviour was not at all tolerating. I visited the store on 8th of January 2025

I asked them about giving me re-fried chips and they start telling about chips instead of changing it. I found a hair in my wife's meal and all they oh no problem I change it. Worse experience. Never going there again.

Not worth the price for what you get. So called XL burger is just lettuce and a slither of chicken in a cheap bap £5.67. Box of cheap rice with 3 to 4 small cubes of chicken for £10. Beware.

Manager is really aggressive with customers and staff I don't find he is professional person to be a manager and I m regular customer and I don't like screaming and who ever owns this may going to closed soon because of this manager attitude

I asked for chips without peri peri then they gave me chips with peri peri. i understand mistakes can happen then i asked for a change politely and the woman through the change in my face. she said “you’re wrong,this is so wrong, this is so annoying” and rudely gave me another portion. i asked for her name politely and once again she said “why do you care, im not telling you’. Received a 15% discount code but couldn’t use it on the app. The restaurant refused to honour it, saying we had to contact head office, which was closed at the time. What’s the point of sending discount codes if there’s no way to actually use them

Pepe's is so fresh and the chicken is so flavourful and moist. The atmosphere is always great. But a special shout out to Shafi who provided a great customer experience and even recommended the new chimchuri Pepe's sauce which was incredible!

Last time my order came incredibly dry so i asked for extra sauce in my burger and was told to pay additional price which is not mentioned on the menu. Very disappointing that they are trying to charge extra prices for standards they have not met and which are not listed on the menu. Shame how prices are different for each customer.

Staff are ever so helpful, friendly and kind. It's embarrassing to say that when staff remembers you and preferences. The food is amazing, fresh and tasty. Toilets are clean, tables and chairs are spacious.

I usually appreciate Pepe’s Morden for its quality food but I went on Tuesday with my Sis(which is a fan of Pepe’s chicken),but the food served was not of a good standard, one could actually feel the smell of chicken while eating.

We come all the way from Kingston to get this delicious food. So good and very tasty, very friendly service, always smiling. Have a go if you never been to pope's chicken. ♥️😊

Husband and Inpopped in on way home ,picked up a full chicken to eat at home with salad . It was delicious, moist , the sauce was tanky with a little spice but not not , will definately be regulars from now on . Pepe’s - Morden. Let’s start with its strange location - it’s there for all to see on a busy roundabout and the glass windows give it a ‘fish-bowl’ vibe which makes you feel like you’re being watched as you eat. The floor space could be utilised more effectively to maximise eat-in customer capacity and the lack of parking options is also a downside. Now on to the food. Although unreasonably priced, overall the food is more than decent. The chicken tasca is delectable and the Chick n Rice boxes are also a firm favourite of ours, despite the chicken-to-rice ratio sadly falling heavily on the rice side. A big shoutout to their gorgeous garlic mayo as well, which always salvages the dryness of some of the dishes. Their fries are usually cooked to perfection and the option of a J2O to drink is refreshing (even though the price is extortionate). The service is quite poor. No table service, the workers are stand-offish and the wait time is always a minimum of 15 minutes. Overall, Pepe’s offers an underwhelming eat-in experience with nice food but poor service. We would definitely recommend getting a takeaway, however if you’re in a rush you could be waiting a while to get your food. Moreover, with the prices quite high, Pepe’s is probably more of a sporadic ‘treat’ than a regular staple.

whenever you eat outside people really look for two things food and the atmosphere. they have songs at the back but they are not like really loud which may effect you talking to someone you came with and theybare not the low. plus the food is so amazing. i would say that they have one of the best grilled chicken recipe of in morden.

I’ve ordered a chicken wrap meal for my fiancée all good with that, no problem. For myself, I ordered a new menu, kebab with veggie on the stick with rice and I’ve received a bloody hot nachos with chicken which in the end I couldn’t eat. I am writing here because it’s not the first time with wrong orders or missing items and the management needs to change something about it. The food is great but part of the team is useless. I reckon the management can fix this by wrapping orders with the costumer in front of them repeating the order as other restaurants do if they cannot properly. Another ruined dinner by Pepe Morden. Thank you for your uselessness and the reminder of not coming back to your place ever again. Waste of my money for couple of times now.

Overcooked slightly, small portions and pricey for what you get. Atmosphere inside is strange as they play normal radio stations loudly over the speakers. Pepes used to be good but majorly gone downhill. Go to Nandos or Abby's grill for Peri chicken
