Has a 'desi' I was very disappointed with the currys, honestly shameful. I'm from Southall, West London, and even though curry houses do cater to the 'white' customer the currys are not bland and tasteless. On the plus side the naan breads are excellent.

Poppadums were soggy and unedable, ordered two portions and only received one. Disappointed as paying for restaurant quality, having eaten there numerous times and always been happy with the quality.

Love the food. Restaurant recommended by locals. Good prices.

I ordered a lamb biryani with cheese and garlic nan bread, as usual it is delicious 5 stars and was delivered fast and it's hot. Thank you very much.

Our come to place whenever we visit Liverpool, beautiful food, lovely lovely people and service is impeccable, cannot fault it

Got food issues, visited made myself and wife ill , left main dish as meat was off nan burnt, got offered doggy bag , ended up up attending medical centre got told food poisoning, ill for 3days, left messages for owner whom doesn’t return calls , have photos as proof of burnt food and off meat, can’t find a option to put photos on , no website contact us or email waste of money £55.50 please tell me how to add photos

U.n.I is the best indian restaurant i have been in the UK. Their customer service is very good especially Naz explained me about the food in a good way. I had King prawn tikka for starters and King prawn balti, keema pilau rice, garlic naan for my main meal. I have been to many restaurants in the UK and this was the best.

Tried here as our regular was closed and unfortunately The chicken tikka masala was absolutely awful I'm afraid and was just like water and tasteless, chips and bread was nice though. Safe to say won't be ordering from here again.

Spices and fresh vegetables brought our favourite Indian food to life. Getting the “holy trinity” right is not easy the combination of Cumin, cardamom, and coriander. Riyadh added extra warmth by a warm service.

Incredible, completely and utterly incredible. We went in after a night out in Mathew Street, despite it being late the service was great and fast. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food was superb. The cubicles are such a great idea and the atmosphere is great, it's almost like being in your very own old train carriage. Will definitely be returning on our next trip to Liverpool! Cheers!

Delivery on time and the food was hot which was great. Ordered the butter chicken and bhuna and unfortunately it was very bland. Not to our taste but seeing as the other reviews are so positive perhaps it was what we ordered.

We've been going here for 40years, love the place but unfortunately takeaway service is not our thing and we won't be ordering again. No salad with starters and Rogan Josh tasted very much like a Korma with lots of coconut in it!

Excellent food and service, place isn't very big. Had lamb garlic curry, loved it. Well worth s visit. We all had starters, mains, rice, naam and a large bottle of Cobra each, came to under £32 each which I thought was a bargain.

Been going ur restaurant for 34yrs first delivery we have had from you and I must say it was like eating it in the comfort of ur curtain booths will deffo be getting another delivery soon

I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday evening. I haven’t been to an Indian restaurant for quite awhile. The service and food were absolutely stellar. I have never tasted a more delicious biryani and saag aloo In my life, every morsel was heaven. The meal for starter and main with a double chin was about £34, which I suppose with the cost of living is to be expected. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be visiting again.

Currently sat in a booth after finishing, chicken chat , onion bhajis, mixed kebab , chicken korai and chicken Naga bhuna. Absolutely delicious and would highly recommend.

Average meal and when having trouble with card made to feel like a criminal

Pretty average curry place, asked the waiter what he recommended and he could barely be bothered to speak. Very dated interior and food.

Absolutely amazing food at very reasonable prices. The option to book a booth is also fantastic as it allows you to have a more personal meal for yourself and whoever you are out with. Food also tastes amazing, UNI Special is a very good option to choose. Staff are very accommodating and are willing to help you with whatever you may need. Overall cannot rate highly enough.

Absolutely amazing Indian restaurant... only had to wait a few mins to be seated ( private booth ) and was served soon after .... starters of meat samosas n popperdoms with dips went down a treat ... main courses was tasty as hell .... all this for under £40 with drinks ... if I could rate this place it'd b a 10/10 . ..

I've frequented this Indian restaurant multiple times, and the authenticity of the food always impresses me. The staff is genuinely friendly, enhancing the overall experience. However, I've observed a hygiene concern with staff handling Naan breads, where they touch the bread while holding it against their clothes. This practice has led me to refrain from ordering Naan breads during dine-ins. I hope the management considers addressing this hygiene issue to maintain the overall positive impression of the restaurant.

Great Indian in Liverpool city centre. we had a chicken biryani with an omelette on top, chicken dupiaza and sag aloo. Very nice Loved the curtained booths were you can have total privacy. Also a fish tank to watch while you wait for your order.

We found this Indian after searching for a good Indian. Food was tasty with reasonable portion sizes. Quiet on the day we went which made it feel rather empty. Would go again if wanting Indian in Liverpool.

We stumbled on this place yesterday evening whilst in Liverpool . Little cubicles where you can shut the curtains . The starters were lovely but the mains not so great . I’ve eaten in lots of Country’s and establishments and I’ve never come across a red keema bhuna before . Very bright red and a bit tasteless . Disappointed . We left And went back to the hotel where I have unfortunately spent the night riddled with heartburn . The red food colouring clearly played havoc . Won’t be visiting again

Top tier Indian restaurant! 🌟 The biggest Sheek Kebab I’ve been served at any Indian. Both our mains were super! 🍛 Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great! 💬 The owner/manager recommended the Lamb Madras which was spot on! 👌🏻

A traditional standard Indian menu (ie none of that fusion nonsense!) They know to make a blistering hot vindaloo if you ask! The chicken was fresh and tasty. Great service. We sat in a private "room" with a curtain, see pics.

In Liverpool for the weekend and thought I'd check this place out based on the reviews. The curry was fantastic, went for the lamb madras which was spot on, highly recommended ! I asked the waiter what the name UnI meant, 'You and I sir', of course, silly me !

The single best Resturaunt experience ive ever been lucky enough to have. UNI is a beautiful under rated liverpool Resturaunt (And fixture in my life). Their food is great value for money the decor is set so you can eat privately and enjoy someones company in seclusion whilst the staff are super attentive and friendly. I went with 6 friends for my birthday. The bill came in much lower than i expected and the food was absolutely perfect. My friends are fussy aswell and every plate was clean. Again i must stress the staff qre amazing. IF YOUR IN LIVERPOOL AND WANT A BOSS CURRY COME TO UNIS BY THE BOMBED OUT CHURCH. Thank you again UNI CREW XXXX

Beautiful food and great service. Food was lovely and spicy like we asked for. Didn’t appear to be wheelchair access but staff were very kind and helped my mum who was in a wheelchair.

Had an amazing time here the staff were absolutely awesome and the service was at a good pace food was hot when brought to the table and had great flavour will definitely be eating here again.

Wanted to go out for my birthday with my boyfriend and chose UNI based on previous reviews. Was seated very quickly, the staff were excellent and the meals were delicious. Definitely value for money and will be recommending this restaurant to friends at work.

Just got back from uni restaurant took my wife for a meal we've been here a few times before but last time was over 10 years ago the food was delicious really well cooked service was excellent and will definitely be going back again me and my wife fully recommend this restaurant

Nice interior, with unusual curtained-off cubicles. Food was good, and service was good until we finished out meal, then it became impossible to get the waiter's attention, first to get out bill and then a few minutes later to pay our bill: he was watching the World Cup on TV instead of keeping an eye on his customers!
