Tyson's Bar in Sandwell

Tried here today shop didn't look inviting from outside. Entered the shop and the smell of dirty damp old buildings put us off. Dark dingy and smelly . No one came to serve us which was a good job really . Looking through to the back kitchen looked terrible. Left the building never again would I go there .

It may not look pleasant and same with the reviews, but I went there yesterday for the first time and it is so nice! It tasted like heaven in my mouthI recommend you go there! Ignore the reviews, go and taste it because it's absolutely delicious

Delayed notification on non delivery, waited 2 hours to be told didn't have the food I ordered in stock.

Ordered for collection got there to be told they had ran out of something but hadnt rung as they said didnt have my number. Had to come back home and go back 20 mins later then they called to say ran out of something else but apparantly hadnt got my number

Whilst the food is fab we waited over 2 hours for our delivery. They rung to tell us that part of our meal was out of stock so we asked for it to be replaced. When our order arrived it was completely wrong and our dumplings had also been replaced as they 'run out' :( I feel like I haven't had the right value for money for this meal :(

Food was bad portions scarce and it was 1 hour late

I've used this place a few times and it's always been ok but tonight I'm very disappointed first they phoned to say there was no jerk chicken it had to be cooked that was at 6pm after phoning them 2hrs later to them saying the chicken is still cooking! My food was finally delivered at 9:30pm to which then my order was wrong!! And some missing! Also it had no taste very disappointed!! I won't be ordering from again I will take my custom elsewhere!!

Food arrived still hot,was fresh and full of flavour. money was well spent,will definitely order again.the currycoat was lovely and so was the fried chicken highly recommended!

Ordered my food at 5pm expected delivery said 6pm which then with no notice changed to 6:30pm. 6:40pm still no food, called them and asked about my order and was told that 2 items from my order were unavailable and because of this they didn't bother to start my order at all. The lady that answered the phone sounded uninterested and offered me a dumpling in replace for 2 70p canned drinks. Read the reviews on here before and had mixed feelings but I will definitely not be ordering from here again. 7pm and my food is still not here! I'd understand if they had to cook food from scratch but they don't. Very frustrating when you've got plans.. It is now 7:30pm and my food is still not here. I called them back and she told me that they've just sent my order out with 5 other orders so I might not get anything till 8:30pm. I won't be home at 8:30pm which is why I ordered my food at 5pm. I'm so extremely mad and I can't even cancel it because they put in through on just eat as delivered 2 hours ago... Wish I could give them less than 1 star. I've just come off the phone to the delivery guy who rudely told me to make my way down as he was two minutes away and then hung up.

It's very fast delivery and the foood is very amaaaaazing !!! Will deffo order from here again!!! I love it

La primera vez fue buena segunda vez era pobre, podríamos decir contenedor había sido calentados n sopa de pollo había sido aguadas! Comida ni siquiera gire por tercera vez, KFC al rescate estancia lejos!!!

Great food like always, plenty meat in curry goat.

Lovely food! Great quality of ingredients. Only downside was; had a call to say only had curry goat left and had ordered jerk chicken online also. But curry goat alternative hit the spot just as nicely ;-)

The food was 4 hours late...i had to call them after 2 hours and they said they did not know about my order.after another hour i had to call again and they said they were now making the food.4 hours for fast food?wow.

WOULD NOT ORDER AGAIN!!! Ordered and estimated time for delivery was 45 mins. Recieved call 1 hr later saying they have no jerk chicken, ended up cancelling my order, women was surprised, i explained i have waited 1 hr and you have'nt even sarted cooking it, i aint waiting for a replacement meal to be cooked and another 45 mins!!! Disgusted

The foods really nice from here but the delivery time is disgraceful 2-3hr wait then thay cancelled our order and never told us so won't be buying from here again

Love tysons but our order was completely wrong plus ordered steam veg and didn't get any at all, ordered 1 curry mutton and 2 jerk chicken meals we received 2 curry mutton meal and 1 jerk chicken meal all without steamed veg as ordered

Food was really tasty. Was called 5 mins before estimated delivery time to be told they had runout of chicken curry, opted for the stewed chicken, which was delicious. Food arrived 30 mins after delivery time.

El peor lugar en el que me he alojado en mucho tiempo. Fui en y ocupado estaba listo para media hora, regresó en media hora, todavía no estaba listo. 20 minutos más tarde, pollo Jerk estaba listo, no pedimos pollo Jerk. dijo que estaba esperando para el arroz para cocinar. Entonces, ¡oh Dios mío, después de casi una hora esperando decidió conseguir 2 almuerzos, 1 con arroz y la otra con pollo. Obviamente frío! Entonces él pone todo en una bandeja y microondas por 10 minutos!!! ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡horror de choque

I would like to be contacted by the resturant as I Order 6 items received 3 not impressed first time I ordered from here, make it specific I ordered: Curry chicken Jerk chicken One carrot cake One vanila cake Cheese and beans jacket potato Beef burger Recieved 2 jerk chicken 2 vanilla cake One donut shape thing Not impressed!!!

It took him 2 hours to tell me that there was no delivery driver...and thats only after i had called them.unproportionate meat to rice ratio.

After waiting a hour half of he calls us to say most of things bar 1 that we ordered he didn't have! So he changed the order when it arrived an extra hour later, the chicken wasn't chicken just batter! The curry goat wasn't curry just goat then found a stick in with it! He had re-heated the meals as the plastic container they come in where melted!! He said the cheese burger he said he would change to veggie burger as that was the only other burger available it didn't even turn up!!.. won't be ordering again!!

Ordered my food for collection at 9 pm everything went through OK went to shop to collect , door was locked but lights was on waited 15 minutes an still nothing , should of stuck to aunt Sallys

Tysons bar is the one for a taste of the caribbean. chef Jay knows how to cook, i recommend the curry goat and rice n peas however everything on the menu is good! Always fresh, hot n tasty... keep up the good work Jay! And spread the word people. if you want authentic jamaican food you need to try Tysons Bar!

The food has greatly improved in taste with their new cook. The never seem to have enough oxtail, but assure me they are addressing that. A bit of a mix up with the order but their commutation was very good. Thanks to Tyson.

Delivery slow again . Waited 40 mins over delivery time 3 times now . The meal came without the steamed veg although it's part of the meal. food was more spicy than normal . Wasnt enjoyable this time . Wots happenin guys ???

i was very disappointed after singing their praise after i order dinners for the last two weeks, the food was great and i got all i ordered. But for some unknown reason i got pure bones when i order ox tail, i know if got bones but not purebones and no meat. also the dummplings were not their usual dumpling these we rock hard and full of grease i had to throw them out cos i would have done damage to my teeth. they also sent soup which i did not order because i don't like soup, no colesllaw and no plantain. What is going on..... oh and they were 1 1/2 hrs late. They owe me money back

Food was very disappointing! The burger bread was so stale and rock hard plus the burger meat looked absolutely vile and very old so it was inedible. The soup was bland and had no flavour. I asked for salad with my jerk chicken and received boiled veg and the drinks I ordered were completely wrong. Finally it took over an hour and a half to be delivered. Definitely will not be ordering again!

The overall taste, presentation, quality and timing of delivery was Ace the best in the West Midlands mmmwahhhh...... finger licking good Caribbean cuisine.

I've ordered so many times from this place, it is just beautiful. Me & my fiancé, will order today again. Can eat everyday ! Quality food !! Jerk chicken is beautiful, big pieces of meat, hardly any bone ! Just delicious. Best in West Midlands ! Keep it going !!!!

As much as i enjoy the food.. they have rang every single time ive ordered saying they havent got what i wanted.. so every timeive had a substitute.. besides this staff are very pleasant amd well mannered.
