Great gluten-free food! The staff were very pleasant and welcoming, and had good knowledge of gluten-free food. The place would have been even cozier with subdued lighting.

We had the nicest meal in a very long time. Party of 7 and not a complaint. Excellent pleasant service 👏

Heard about this place and decided to try it. So glad we did, absolutely beautiful food. Husband had fish, I had gammon. Proper homemade chips too. And the view from our table inside was lovely

Lovely country pub with stunning views

Small menu lunchtime with good roasts. Wonderful view. Terrace would be great in fine weather. Tyn Y Capel has a good reputation locally

We stopped off here for a drink and food. We had a delicious cold Heineken and Beef Roast dinner and it was great. We loved it. Lovely staff, devent prices, nice background music and views to die for. Would definitely recommend and We will return when in the area again. Thank you

Didn't have anything to eat, just called in for a quick drink. Nice & clean relaxing atmosphere & very nice polite bar staff.

Laminated menu not clean, my beer glass filthy. Food not up to standard. dry chicken, battered cajun chicken burger, just a burger on a bun with no taste. I told the waitress it was different menu on line. Apparently that was the previous owners menu and they haven't been able to change it. This used to be a lovely restaurant. Not anymore!

Tony, the chef, made a stupendous extra extra hot beef curry for me and a mild flavoursum curry for the wife. The food and service was 5*. The service by the young lady behind the bar was excellent. Definitely try the curry night and drink on a Tuesday/Wednesday evening you won’t be disappointed.

Good experience was quiet as weekday so no atmosphere . Lovely location and views.

Went early evening on Monday evening. I had the lamb burger and it was really disappointing it was dry and didn't taste of anything. The chips were nice and the staff attentive. Also went to order a coffee but they had no milk ! Lol also the lighting was terrible and had to put the torch on my phone on so that I could read the menu! ☺️

Below average food for above average prices.... Great view though.

If u ain't a local, u gonna get some looks. Toilet was pitch black, no lights very little room to move around at the top, but the downstairs was alot more space. Plus side views were amazing.

Called for an afternoon pint with mate - only one guest ale - plenty in 500ml bottles !! Decided on the one guest beer and pint of Fosters - not much change out of £10 - notice on door Beer prices having to rise from December 1st - don't think they are joking !!

What a lovely pub! We went for a 'quick bite' to eat at lunchtime (after a lovely walk). The panni was great! Well worth a visit.

I’ve always had a good experience. I stepped out of my comfort zone and ordered the black and blue chicken for the first time which is the house special. I’ve never been so fascinated with food that I couldn’t decide if I liked or not. It’s like marmite. I decided in the end that do I like it.

4 of us had Sunday lunch here today and were really impressed with the food. One starter of black pudding, goats cheese and bacon stack which was absolutely delicious. 2 mains of lamb and 2 of the roast beef dinner followed by apple pie and sticky toffee pudding. All the food was excellent and at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be returning

Pretty much a rerun of our last visit with Tyn-Y-Capel providing excellent service, atmosphere and food. Like last time we enjoyed the Garlic Mushrooms, Culiflower Steak and Sticky Toffee pudding. One thing I forgot to recommend last time was to have salt and pepper wedges with the cauliflower steak, it's totally to die for. Enjoy your visit 😁

A good village country Inn overlooking a fantasic panorama were you sit out and a meal and a beer. But we'll worth a visit.

I'd never heard of this pub before until my granddaughter moved nearby recently. Food was lovely. Sunday lunch was 3 courses £19.50 and very generous portions. Thoroughly recommend the black pudding, smoked bacon and goats cheese stack. A beautiful view across to what I think is the start of World's End. It must be fantastic to sit on the terrace on a sunny day. Lots of tables and booths outside. Will be back to try their regular menu.

Wowzers, what a great menu. Delicious homemade quality food. Amazing views across the mountains too. Great beer garden. Had the parmesan chicken and was thrilled.

Attractive and quaint village pub with a large bar area and a number of smaller rooms. Each time I've been I've been it's been with a private party and the food, both buffet and table service, has been very tasty and the staff very pleasant.

Beautiful roast lamb Sunday dinner, definitely will have Sunday lunch here again. Having my wedding reception here on September 14th

Light and airy refurbished pub restaurant with a good varied menu, excellent food and service. We had Garlic mushrooms, Cauliflower steaks in a peppercorn sauce followed up with sticky toffee pudding with ice cream and wouldn't have changed a thing.

Went there with family for a Saturday evening dinner. Had the roasted camembert to start and the ribs for the main. Delicious. Well worth a visit.

Called to this pub after a very wet dog walk. Had a very warm welcome from staff and locals! Food is good, but the service was amazing.!! Would definitely come again for the staff. They were friendly, attentive and smart.

We arrived just after 12pm on a Sunday. It was quite quiet, and we were seated almost instantly. Food took under 10 minutes to arrive after ordering and was the best Sunday lunch I've had at a pub ever. The leek was a nice Welsh touch on the turkey lunch. By the time we left, the place was starting to fill up with what I expect is the usual Sunday lunchers. Would definitely go back.

I am glutenfree, food was delicious but a small choice. We went previously and had an offer 2 meals for so much, plus it was a better choice on gluten-free. Bring back more choices for us, please. Thank u, though, and great staff xx
