Entrance - A 3 minute walk from Camden station, very easy to find, right across the road from Wagamama with clear Turtle Bay signs Food - I was extremely disappointed in the food, the wings were powdery and the mac and cheese was watery and the jerk chicken they put on top of it didn’t taste fresh. The moment I tasted the jerk wings, my stomach completely shrunk due to the powdery texture I could taste, it was not nice at all. Then when the mac and cheese with jerk chicken came out, it looked and smelt like vomit and I was completely thrown off eating any of it. 0/10 for food. Drinks - We got there at 9pm to get the 241 cocktails and I had 4 reggae rum punch’s and 2 Island Escapes, they were nice. Decor - Very modern and aesthetically pleasing. I liked the decor. Atmosphere - Very nice, chilled, not busy for a Friday which was great. Music was good too. Cleanliness - VERY clean, not a spec of dirt. Not even in the toilets. It looked and smelt clean. No issues there. Total cost - £44 for myself as the wings were free from me downloading the app which isn’t too bad. Customer service - The customer service was amazing, from the moment I walked in and were greeted by the lovely security men by the door, to the lady that showed me to my seat and the wonderful service from Tanzie. Tanzie was so sweet and helpful, always had a big smile on her face and was very patient when we took 101 years to decide what we wanted. She didn’t once make us feel like a nuisance and ensured our table was constantly cleared when we were done with our drinks / meals, Tanzie was the best!! ❤️ Overall - 6/10 - The food was a huge letdown but the drinks and the customer service from Tanzie made up for it. I would return but just for drinks. Thank you Turtle Bay❤️

Brilliant spot, decor is brilliant and the cocktails are exactly what you need!!!! Strong, sour, sweet and addicitve. Menu is varied but very traditional and spiced well considering it's usually a little tamer but the beef check curry packs a real punch. Ellie is amazing and very attentive, she is extremely knowledgeable and has a real grasp of the menu. I went with her recommendations which were bang on. Wicked spot, wicked staff, wicked afternoon.

Great service, tasty food. Reasonably priced. The waitress helped us to choose food which would come quickly. It had good wheelchair access and an accessible toilet. And 241 cocktails before 9pm

Food Review: Turtle Bay Camden Visited Turtle Bay Camden recently, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations for authentic Caribbean flavors. Here’s the breakdown: • Jerk Salmon: Disappointing. The texture was rubbery and lacked that signature jerk smokiness and spice. Honestly, I’m not even sure if that was jerk sauce—it felt like a far cry from the real deal. 😅😩 was this fish cooked from frozen ? • Trini Doubles: These were decent but sadly fell short of greatness. The absence of tamarind sauce was a big letdown. That sweet and tangy kick is essential, and without it, they felt incomplete. 😩 • Vegetarian Options : Not enough • Service: A silver lining! The staff, especially the lovely lady who served us, was warm and welcoming. Verdict: If you’re after authentic Caribbean cuisine, this isn’t the spot. The vibes might be there, but the flavours certainly are not.

Really impressed by the delicious Caribbean food offering. The menu was diverse and I found it hard to choose from all the great options. I had the beef rib which was succulent, spicy and fell from the bone. Thank you to Olivia who helped make the “date” with my little boy special. He had the kids cheese burger and chips and loved it. Nice to have non-spicy options for kids.

Most awful experience ever The food was delivered stone cold and my burger bun had burn marks on it and I could smell and taste the charcoal The squid was dry and extremely cold like it had just come out of the freezer very tasteless and disgusting My friends ribs were burnt and not eatable too Drinks had too much ice in them and watered down way too much Toilets smelt of vomit and the place looked disgusting from walking up the stairs and into the toilets which didn’t even have toilet paper to use, let alone any soap The waitress was overwhelmed and rushed off her feet so she seemed down. She asked me to write her a review in exchange of a free shot or drink which I declined I spoke to the blonde manageress who was rude and just didn’t care what I had to say as she was overworked and looked like she was tired as well I will never be returning to this place and will be complaining to your head office

The way we were served by John was superb we found him engaging, effervescent and wanting us to stay for more drinks and ulnar delights. If John is the example of a turtle bay exponent it’s no wonder the excellent chain is thriving. I didn’t have the opportunity to enquire but I presume he is the manager if not he of managerial qualities and a lot more due to his superb service I shall be frequenting this restaurant in a daily basis holding all my business meetings here. His attention to detail whilst describing the food on offer is second to none. Working in the industry myself it’s tempting to try and poach him. He is attentive, gorgeous but discreet 3 great qualities for somebody working in the hospitality industry top man.
