Really good food, unpretentious and tasty served in a relaxed setting with excellent service. Super dog friendly, considering we had 4 of them with us and of course everything is vegan. Would definitely recommend

Went there for my birthday today. What a fabulous gem in London. I have many intolerances, yet Rob managed to prepare THE most amazing meal for me and for my family. I felt so special and well taken care of. As a Medical herbalist and Colon hydrotherapist, this place is definitely on top of my list for restaurants that serve food that doesn’t bloat, easy to digest, not to mention, that it is nutrient dense. Rob created a special sorbet and a black bean brownie for me. The tastes were sublime. Thank you Rob and Carolyn for making my day so special. See you again Makeda

If you’re looking for a quick summary of why this is the best vegan restaurant in London here are six reasons:- 1) Delicious, clean, fresh, wholesome, organic, healthy homemade vegan food (and drinks!) obviously prepared with love 2) Excellent friendly, personal and attentive service from Stella and Rob who are so warm, kind and sincere. 3) Really pretty location on a quiet side road with outside dining space in Primrose Hill 4) Great with children and very family/child friendly 5) Good value (especially for London) and good sized portions 6) Great venue and professional service for private events If you’ve got time to read more then see below 🙂 This was my third visit to Manna. The first time was in summer when we had the pleasure of sitting in their pretty outside seating area. The second time was at a charity even being hosted by them. On this third occasion my family and I decided to try their Sunday roast for Mother’s Day and it was without doubt the best Mother’s Day meal I’ve ever had. I’m usually a very fussy eater especially as I mostly eat only my own home cooked organic/wholefood /vegan food. I often have to be dragged out to restaurants kicking and screaming as I find restaurant food generally too rich, sickly or I cannot be certain of the quality of the ingredients. This is definitely NOT the case with Manna! It was a cold dark drizzly day but as soon as we stepped inside we forgot about the weather as we were given a lovely warm welcome by Stella. The restaurant was also kept nicely heated and we were kindly given a table near a radiator to keep us extra toasty. We were given some gorgeous complementary vegetable fritters with a dipping sauce while we waited for our food, which is such a kind and generous gesture. We all had the wellington with all the trimmings such as as fluffy Yorkshire pudding, asparagus, leeks, carrots, cauliflower and two types of potatoes cooked to perfection. There was also a choice of two gravies (onion or mushroom) and were offered extra gravy if we needed. What was really amazing is that Stella had remembered that my daughter loved the vegan cheeseboard from our last visit in January and had asked the chef to incorporate some cheese into one of the items. Needless to say we cleaned our plates (very unusual for me in other restaurants) which is testament to the high quality of the food served at Manna. For dessert we had rhubarb crumble and two lots of “trio of dessert” comprising of cheesecake, sponge cake, banoffee pie and the “piece de resistance” Lemon meringue pie! The latter is my absolute favourite dessert of all time (so believe me I’ve tried a LOT in my time) but Manna’s version is without doubt THE BEST I’ve ever tasted. A perfect light moist crust, a tangy centre balanced with a perfect sweet meringue. Heavenly! I even ordered a slice to takeaway and I’ve been craving more ever since! After the meal we were given a beautiful complimentary rose sorbet which was a special they’d made just for Mother’s Day, another kind and generous touch. To conclude, do not hesitate to book a table at Manna or choose them to host a private function. You will be in good hands with Rob, Stella and the rest of the team. We look forward to our next visit and I’ll keep my fingers crossed that lemon meringue pie will be on the menu again!

My wife and I spent a lovely couple of hours in the company of Manna. It was, unfortunately very quiet and for most of the time we were the only couple there. So quite low on atmosphere sadly. A table more in the light would have been welcome too. A tad dark/subdued where we were. But the food was delicious, all homemade and fresh. The soup a special highlight for me. I never eat pudding but the trio of cakes and ice cream did hit the spot. A bottle of Roja was nice, but this was from a quite short wine list. A Pleasant afternoon in the company of my wife and friendly hosts was very welcome.

As a Yorkshire lass I have missed Yorkshire puddings since I became vegan and really appreciated the quality of Manna's vegan version, along with their presentation of a traditional Sunday roast. Together with the quality of the food was the friendliness of the hosts and the delightful artwork on the walls. This restaurant isn't afraid to acknowledge its love and respect for animals, which chimes with my own.

A Scottish friend and I were at Manna for Burns Night and had a wonderful evening… the vegan haggis was beautifully flavoured, as were all the accompanying vegetable dishes, and the wine was delicious. There was also Burns-themed entertainment in the form of poetry recitals and toasting the haggis with whisky, all of which made the evening even more special. The service was friendly and of a very high standard and I look forward to going back… highly recommend!

We organised a fundraising event at Manna London for a hen rehoming organisation saving commercial hens from slaughter. The guys at Manna were so helpful, passionate and well organised. The whole evening was brilliant 🤩 The food was lush, a taster menu to promote egg free vegan food. The staff Super helpful and friendly. I attended a Hen rescue and charity fundraiser buffet. I have eaten here before. The food is always fresh, organic and seasonal, made with a genuine love for good tasty food. The carrot cake is really exceptional.

My girlfriend and me went at "Manna" to enjoy the 31th December menu The atmosphere was warm and comfortable; we were glad to be welcomed with sincere and great courtesy! the menu was great, as it it mixed the best of the veggie recipes: lovely! sweet cakes are remarkable, they do deserve praise; wine list maybe litle longer, but it is really accurate to accompany the recipes; it proposes choices from Italy, France, South Africa, New Zealand and UK, of course We made a toast to 2024 with a New Zealand Chardonnay in the best way, before enjoying a walk on the hill side of London 🙂 we hope coming back soon to enjoy this lovely atmosphere

Food fabulous, service brilliant and quality top notch.

We were very excited to return to Manna after I had an amazing meal there with my family a long time ago. However, we were very disappointed by the portion sizes, which felt very ungenerous - the prices seem extortionate in comparison. The food was OK, but not as good as somewhere like Mildred's, which is cheaper and provides bigger portions.

Went for Sunday lunch, food was great and the staff were lovely. Will be recommending to all my friends.

Me and my partner popped in for a Sunday roast this weekend, we ended up having a 3 course meal that was absolutely delicious. Atmosphere is cosy and staff were very attentive and friendly. The food reminded us of great home cooking, exactly what you want from a roast dinner on a cold winter Sunday! Everything was clearly prepared fresh and tasted comforting and indulgent. Whole menu is vegan and very fairly priced. Really enjoyed our visit!

It's hard to find a good vegan roast, especially with vegan Yorkshire puddings, but MannaLondon has it nailed. I was blown away by the desserts on offer too, having had an amazing apple crumble with homemade vanilla ice cream. The staff were nothing but kind and attentive. Although on the higher end in terms of price range, the pay off you get in terms of the quality of food makes it worth it. I look forward to visiting again.

We had a lovely evening meal at Manna, the food was absolutely delicious with excellent, attentive service. We were recommended the trifle for desert which was excellent. As non vegans we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and didn’t feel we missed anything non plant based from the meal. We visited Manna many years ago and found it was as good as ever on our return.

I can only assume that at some point over the pandemic this restaurant went under new ownership. I originally visited in 2018 and it was such a special and lovely dining experience with impeccable service and delicious food, and a warm, romantic atmosphere. The only thing the new owners seem to have maintained are the high prices, which used to be perfectly justified. The service was bad to the point of being quite hilarious - seemed like they had never run a restaurant before. Or possibly never been to a restaurant before... The food was fine but portions were small, they were vague about allergens and nothing like as good as it once was. A real shame.

Missed booking due to pregnant wife being ill. Yes we forgot to cancel, but it was an honest mistake and these things happen. Now they're sending abusive messages to my pregnant wife! I phoned and tried to apologise, no answer. They send another abusive email. The manager is obviously a coward (and also needs to learn how to spell). This is NOT how to run a business. We will now never return! Shocking behaviour and I have never experienced anything like this before. After reading reviews on here, we can see why though. The replies are disgraceful.

Massively unprofessional as employers. 4 months delay in payment for salary and very reluctant in giving payment. Wouldn't recommend working with them, doesn't seem to be any employee retainment or confidence in the business.

Doesn’t even look like a business and not even open when a woman went out of her way to make sure I knew I wasn’t welcome there or anywhere nearby. While maybe not the intent, it was definitely the impact. I had tried to find a place to put my buggy so it was not in the way of other pedestrians. I had barely taken a step away and was about to do a double take to check if it was indeed another business when a woman opens the door and starts rudely lecturing me and telling me how rude my actions were. I apologized and she kept on at me as I tried to walk away. This will not be a place I ever consider giving my business to. Clearly not family friendly.

I took my family there recently and can’t believe how well my kids enjoyed the plant-based dining. They loved the bangers and mash and they commented how the sausages tasted so nice compared to the shop bought vegan ones. We were lucky to eat outside and the service was very attentive. They also welcomed feedback on the dishes too as they were trying out new menu options. I tried the new savoury pancakes which again was very tasty. I love the way the vegetables were not cooked to limp status but still had some crunch in them which means the nutrients are still going to nourish the body. As the dishes were freshly cooked for each of us (again another positive sign they care about the freshness of their ingredients) it can take slightly longer but the patience was worth it. We were also able to try out their vegan cheeses in prep for their cheese and wine evening they are planning to do. It is very rare to find a restaurant business that is plant-based, organic, unprocessed (even the chocolate brownie as raw and tasty), unrefined sugars. They clearly care about their food offerings which means they care about their customers. We will be back to try out their other dishes as well as the Sunday roast.

First visited Manna 17 years ago with my son and had an amazing, unforgettable laksa. We visited again today and had a lovely Sunday roast and the veg was so fresh and good quality produce, cooked nicely and full of flavour. The owners are really friendly and very kindly brought over a couple of their soups for us to sample. There was a potato and leek soup and a carrot soup, both were tasty, my favourite was the carrot, whilst my son preferred the potato and leek soup. We also had the opportunity to sample their rose sorbet which was beautiful and light, would be perfect on summers day. Another lovely experience at Manna, so glad we visited again.

Absolutely amazing. Even if you are not vegetarian or vegan this place is a must. Tucked away in Primrose Hill supporting a minimalist theme. But nothing minimalist about the food. Very tentative staff who know how good their food is.

Located close to chalk Farm Station and just a few minutes from Primrose Hill this restaurant has a hidden gem quality being away from the hustle and bustle of the busy Camden scene. This isn't 2020's vegan Junk food its great home cooked meals that feel they are made with lots of love and attention. The restaurant has a chilled grown up vibe. The roast was amazing, complete with vegan Yorkshire. Great selection of desserts on offer, I recommend the crumble. We were told about a wine and cheese night, and we are all in!

A trip to Manna never, ever disappoints and is our main reason for leaving the house on a Sunday afternoon. The service is second to none, where we feel looked after and appreciated. The Roast is legendary and they have managed to improve on perfection still. How? I do not know… The food is fresh and beautiful, and the warm mince pies and custard are just BEYOND. My Son’s allergies as well as veganism mean we can never have a Yorkshire pudding… well that is until we discovered Manna.

Mystified why Manna isn't busier as the food and the service is faultless. Vegan restaurants sometimes skimp on the cheeseboard. Not here. Delicious cheese board with a great selection of cheeses, some made by Manna. The blue and the truffly camembert were stand outs. Accompaniments of fruit and chutney with homemade bread and crackers which were surprisingly light and delicate. A perfectly seasoned Sunday Lunch that came with just the right amount of everything including potatoes two ways, roasties and Dauphinoise. Also cauliflower cheese, a dab of mushy peas, sweet, sweet carrots and that vegan Holy Grail of an amazing Yorkshire Pudding. Breadier than non-vegan yorkies, but the taste and the texture was just right. Best so far! Just when you think you're too full here comes a trifle that is so creamy that you float away into food heaven, with homemade Manna branded shortbread. 😁 We also tried the delectable lemon and blueberry slice with a gorgeously subtle rose flavoured ice cream. It's been a long while since I've wanted to cry because the food was so good. Here it is. Come to Manna... X

Arrived with a friend to an empty restaurant and met by very unfriendly and clueless staff. The food looked and tasted like something made in the 70s - no seasoning, carb heavy and all meat substitutes - this place calls itself "healthy and nutritious" there was nothing healthy or tasty about the food that we were served. We ordered a tofu dish, all tiny pieces with very mean serving of sauce and hardly any side salad, and the sunday roast, the stuffing was dry, veg overcooked and just all around outdated food. There were no other tables come in when we were there. It was RIDICULOUSLY Expensive for appalling food and awful service. Shame as it claims to be the oldest vegetarian restaurant in London, but the owner/management clearly has no idea what they are doing and don't know what customer services looks like AVOID at all cost! save your time wallet and tastebuds

Me and my partner came for a sunday roast that was suprr delicious, folloeed by a homemade crumble. Everything is homemade even some of the drinks, the staff is super nice and approachable and the food is good value. Highly recommend if in the area
