Best preparation and texture of sweetbreads (mollejas) I've eaten in a very long time and the portion was huge for the cost of £13.50 (photo shows a little less than half, as I started eating before taking picture). My entré was the Lomitos al Champignon (beef filet in mushroom sauce, also pictured), which was good but a bit pricey at £25.50. A glass of Cab Franc/ Malbec blend was £14.75 which was about what I'd have expected to pay, but there was a decent selection of other wines by the glass ranging £8 to £12.25. A great alternative to pub food in Soho.

Found this gem away from the hustle and bustle of Camden market area ,the food and service was fantastic ,and very reasonably priced.will definitely go back .

Fabulous food, wine and service

Allan his parents own the restaurant, nice little family owned quaint establishment. The proveleta was really good and the steaks were amazing. House wine was surprisingly good. Highly recommend if you want something different other than Pub food while in London.

need to work on the way you cook your cuts. Picanha was mediocre, not cooked properly, because we all know that medium is not equals to almost raw and that’s what we got. The taste was also very flat. Also, the chimichurri sauce was weak. The service was very good! The waiter was polite and super friendly.

Great quality Argentinian food, lovely service and good vibes all around. A super laid back place, ideal for family and groups gatherings. Vibey yet not too loud, so you can chat. We had a bit of everything, specially recommend the empanadas, millejas, milanesa napolitana and flan. Special shoutout to Alan who takes care of everyone giving it a very homey feel

Spectacular, highly recommended. We went to celebrate a birthday and ordered several appetizers: the meat empanada, incredible; the sweetbreads, unmissable; and the provoleta, very good too. Afterwards we shared different cuts of meat and the Milanese, all spectacular. For the finale, the flan with dulce de leche and cream was the finishing touch. Incredible!

Happy and smiling staff, authentic flavors. The portions are rather small. Insist that they pay attention to your allergies because they are kind of...abstract!

It was a random find in the "taste for all" Camden town. The venue did not disappoint. Atmosphere was chill, argentinian themed. Staff was corteous, present but not overwhelming, accomodating, smiling and giving advice as requested. Food was tasty, arrived hot and on time. Tasty, everyone enjoyed their choices. Came here early, so cannot comment too much on the atmosphere as it was very quiet at that time. The restaurant was quite cold and only got warmer as the kitchen got going. I had the Churrasco Criollo rump steak and the first thing that I noticed was the plate was stone cold and the steak had a fried egg on top that was completely overcooked and hard. So not the best start, but it's all about the steak. It tasted good straight off the grill, but although I asked for medium rare as I got through to the thicker parts it was most certainly rare. It became very chewy and hard to eat to the point I struggled to finish it. My wife had the Milanese Diego which she said was okay, but was covered in goats cheese that dominated the flavour. The desserts sounded great so we decided to give them a try in the hope it would elevate the experience. The tiramisu in a jar was once again nothing special according to my other half. I had the Cremoso de Chocolate again in a jar, but unlike the tiramisu, it was in the bottom somewhere so not very exciting to look at. It promised spicy chocolate that although thick and indulgent I couldn't really taste, rum that I definitely couldn't taste and a very underwhelming and tiny portion of coconut ice-cream. The young lady serving was nice enough but although close by at all times, couldn't be bothered to ask if we were enjoying the food. I think this could be a nice place to come when it's busy and has more atmosphere, but it is expensive so with only us and one other couple eating, there was no excuse for the total lack of attention to detail and I got the impression that at that early time in the evening they couldn't really be bothered. Not great!

As a part Argentine and previous visitor to La Patagonia, I was disappointed. The empanadas were average, the meat was better than average but not excellent, the french fries mediocre and the portions small, and the salad was below average and also small. The prices were high and a 10% tip was added automatically. The desert, the flan with dulce de leche, was very good. I know one cannot copy another country’s meat but french fries, salads and empanadas are easy to make tasty.

I came here on Feb 17th with my family. The food and service were amazing. Lovely rustic independent restaurant. My 11 year old niece had a steak and I quote “This is my favourite restaurant” Hope to see you again soon!

Food is good, one of the most reminiscent in town, but the particularly high score goes to Alan's top notch service. I asked for quite peculiar arrangements, to accommodate a celebration, and was met with a lot of willingness and enthusiasm. There were a couple of set backs, as life goes, but he kept a flexible can-do attitude which resulted in a tricky plan coming to life. Thank you!

Food was absolutely beautiful. The steak was melt in the mouth. Staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Although we had some difficulties with the payment method at the beginning, the staff was attentive and decisive at all times. We were looking forward to tasting chinchulines, since this time there were none, but we were able to try the sweetbreads and they were a total success. The meat dishes as well as their homemade desserts are simply delicious, the place is perfectly decorated in Argentina and the quality-price ratio is highly recommended.

I absolutely love this place! I take the family regularly and we are always made to feel at home. The staff are all so welcoming and cannot do enough to make it a special dining experience. Booking is easy and is advised as it’s always busy… another great sign!!

Excellent quality restaurant with good service and even better dishes. Popular on a Friday evening with people walking in trying to get a table so booking is recommended. The table service is enthusiastic without being overbearing, it's easy to get attention for another round of drinks. It's a mainly meat menu (that shouldn't come as a surprise) with my dish being well cooked (medium rare), well presented, and tender to cut and eat. There are home made pasta options as well if meat is not your thing. There is also a good selection of Argentinian wines and beer to compliment the dishes. So whole heartily recommended.

Una parada preferida en Londres. Lo mejor se asa a la perfección. Prefería el viejo, pre-renovado, instalado - pero supongo que esto funciona igual de bien. Personal siempre agradable y comunicativo. Incluso tuvieron paciencia con mi aprendiz de español. No puedo culpar a este lugar. El precio vale la pena.

Piccolo locale ma super accogliente, vicino alla metro. Il ragazzo che ci ha accolto e servito è stato gentilissimo e simpatico. Buon vino al calice e saporitissima l'empanada. La picanha e il vacio sono ottimi; giusto equilibrio fra tenerezza e sapore. Da ritornare!!

I am struggling to find words to say how excellent La Patagonia is. We went with friends at lunchtime hoping for a real taste of the Argentine and were not disappointed. The first impression on entering is of a fairly low-key style but don't be deceived - the service and the food are outstanding. I have had a few "best steaks in my life" but this one has definitely pushed any of the others off the top slot! Truly great food, excellent wine and friendly but not intrusive service. A great experience.

Friendly and relaxed atmosphere

In a word, we had a perfect experience. My wife and I tried Argentine cuisine for the first time. My wife ordered Churrasco and I ordered Milanesa Diego. It definitely ranks among the top 5 most delicious meals I've ever had. Additionally, the wine they recommended, "Trumpeter Malbec," was the flavor we had been searching for for years. I promise that every time I go to London, I will definitely stop by here.

We went here for my daughter’s birthday in November. As usual the staff were amazing as was the food. There were 12 of us and all our food was perfect, piping hot and delicious. The top class food was matched by the first class service which was perfect. I have been visiting this restaurant for over 10 years now and it never disappoints.

This restaurant is one of my favourites anywhere. If you want great steak it's right up there. The parilla is amazing!

Buen filete y excelentes mollecas. Bastante caro pero comida de un buen nivel. Por el dinero que podría visitar locales más inteligentes, pero este restaurante está emulando una parillada del barrio, así que por favor no haga ensaladas de hojas y acompañamiento aderezadas.... Sigue con la clásica cebolla, lechuga y tomate con vinagre blanco y aceite al lado.

Yesterday I went with my parents, who are on vacation for a few days, and the experience was unbeatable. The barbecue was spectacular: high quality meats, perfectly prepared and with that authentic Argentine flavor that is so enjoyed. The service was excellent, always attentive and very friendly, which made us feel very well cared for at all times. Without a doubt, I recommend it 100x100 for those looking to enjoy good food and exceptional service. We will return!

La Patagonia is a fantastic dining spot! I recently celebrated my son's birthday here, and it was perfect for our family. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food is outstanding. The grilled meats are a must-try, and the empanadas were a hit with the kids. The staff was friendly and surprised my son with a special dessert, making the day even more memorable. I highly recommend La Patagonia for delicious food and a cosy setting!

One of my favourites Argentinian restaurants! They have a great lunch menu and lots of different steak cuts! Service is great too! If you have never tried flan con dulce de leche before, I highly recommend it!

One of my go-to places while I was living in London and felt a bit homesick for real Río de la Plata food. The only difference with a good Argentinian grill is that they’ll charge you London prices 😝. Any steak is good, but also make sure you try their Milanesa (in any of their versions, though Napolitana is the way to go, if you ask me) For dessert Flan is the way to go, and they serve it Mixto (with dulce de leche and cream) in true Argentinian fashion. A slice of Argentina in the middle of Camden.

Descubierto por casualidad mientras buscaba un restaurante cerca de Camden Market. La decoración es totalmente atípica e inmediatamente te hace sentir (casi) como en casa. En cuanto a la carne - sí, porque no se va a un restaurante argentino a comer pescado o comida vegana (aunque también hay platos veganos) , la carne está justo en otro nivel... Después de haber estado en varios asadores en mi vida, tengo que decir que la calidad de la carne y la cocina fueron excepcionales. En cuanto al resto, el escenario daba la impresión de estar en un bistró argentino, y el vino estaba a la altura sin pasarse de la raya. En resumen, todos fueron felices al final. En general - además del servicio amable - fue una experiencia muy positiva para un primer almuerzo durante nuestra semana - largas vacaciones en familia. Si pasamos de nuevo, volveremos.

Excellent service, food and atmosphere in this great relaxing restaurant. The steak and chicken dishes were very good. They are even dog friendly, which was a real bonus.

Cozy and super friendly places. I went there with a group of friends and we enjoyed very much. The meat was delicious, (we tried the parrilla of course!) atmosphere is very nice as there are big windows with nice light, staff is very kind and friendly.

Hello, the owner requested more context, which is fair. I just did it in a rush last time. I have to say the meat itself was really tasty and good quality, but I have tried equally or better meat in other places around London with the same price tag but including some salad and chips as well as some sauce options, or most importantly with a better more uplifting dining atmosfere. The dish I got was a really nice cut of meat with very simple chips, but it looked like something made at home. The whole dish was quite dry as there was no sauce to accompany it. I ended up ordering some sauce after the dish arrived (literally ordered any ready to go sauce as I didn't want my food to get cold waiting for it) but the waiter did not give much advice and just stood there, looking very very tired. The chips were average french fries, nothing special to them, like the ones you get frozen and deep fry at home, not outstanding flavour either. My companion's dish was equally simplistic but also equally pricey. There was no option to have sweet potato fries instead (asked) which I know its an option in many steak restaurants (including some argentinian ones in London too). Also I naively had assumed that chimichurri was going to feature heavily on their menu, unfortunately it didn't, or at least it was not too obvious from the menu or in the separate sauce list. The environment was really dull, and staff didn't have much initiative, the bare minimum, I can only describe it as if they looked tired and seemed like they didn't want to be there? which is not the lively attitude I have seen from other argentinian people and was expecting from an argentinian restaurant.... Maybe it was because it was a week day? but it was empty at 8pm which is after work hours and you would expect to see more people dining as in other restaurants. when we were about to order dessert other two people came in but that was it. When ordering dessert, they returned to say that they had run out of my option, which is fine, but also they communicated it in the most dull manner whithout perhaps suggesting other desserts or even if not making suggestions, at least saying it clearly and with an assertive attitude. I could barely hear the person when they came to say it and we had to ask them to repeat what they said because we had not heard/understood them. It is not about the language, whenever they did communicate I could understand perfectly, it was more about the liveless attitude/way they said things while interacting. In terms of the food disappointment, I think it is a combination of lack of communication from both sides. On my side I perhaps should have not assumed the dish was going to come with a sauce or better presented? On the other hand, the staff were not really very welcoming as such, they were not rude either but the atmosphere was slow and dull. The reason behind my rating is because when you go out to dine, you want the dining experience to reflect the place where you are, it is not just about the food. Specially if you have been in places where the price is the same or less but the experience is much better. Also from past reviews I had seen so nice pictures with dishes that come with fries and salad and a salad dressing..... that I was expecting that.... or if it requires extra ordering the staff could be more involved into ensuring that the customer knows before the order. Like they do in other restaurants where waiting staff smile at you when they give you a menu and ask if you have been there before, and if no then they gently go trhough the menu sections or say he dishes come with so and so and sauces can be ordered aside...if yoou want a salad ...... and then leave you to it for few minutes. I am not sure if the team changed management from the previous reviews with images or maybe the staff team were having a bad day... anyway it reflected badly on my experience. I am keen to going back and giving it another chance in the future in case it was a one off thing, but not really looking forward to much now.

This was my second time here after a great shared meat platter that was fantastic. This time we ordered some premium cuts (cannot remember if it was Asado de Tira or Sirloin) and asked for it to be medium rare. The meat was a bit overcooked so when we complained to the waiter he kindly offered to take the meat back and come with a new plate of meat, which was cooked to perfection. The food was delicious and I love the decor and ambiance that is so relaxed and makes you feel at home.

This place is a gem. Went out for a meal with frienda and I have to say the food was incredible. The menu has a fantastic amount of choice and it's unfortunate that you can only taste so much in one sitting so definitely going to visit quite a few more times. “First time here and all I can say it’s that the rib eye steak lives now on my memories” - that’s the words of my boyfriend. I came here with my boyfriend for his birthday for the first time because a friend of mine recommended me to go there, she said it was the best Argentinian restaurant that she had been in London and she was not lying. I ordered beef with some mushrooms sauce and potatoes ! It was delicious! . My boyfriend literally asked to the waiter “ I want a massive delicious piece of meat “ and he recommended him the Rib Eye Steak. The point of the meat was just what he wanted, salt, juiciness… he said he loved it. Thank you guys for your service!

It was a good experience, the service was kind, the place itself is very nice just a bit noisy when it gets busier. Delicious Argentinian wine. Apparently the Medallones De Carne A La Pimienta were very good but I do not recommend veggie soy escalopes, they are below the expectations and their price!

The food is quite good, with well-cooked steaks and tasty empanadas. However, despite letting the staff know we didn’t want garlic, our “entraña” arrived smothered in it. On the downside, the service was quite disappointing. The staff seemed disinterested and unpleasant, which detracted from the overall experience. We ended up wanting to eat quickly and leave. While the food is worth trying, the service needs improvement to enhance the dining experience.

Very delicious! I love it! Great food and kind people! The star less is because online the menu is showing the wrong price , and the menus in person are completely different! I am shocked was £50 on top of our bill. But I strongly recommend it! The man was very kind and apologized for the mistake.
