Skylight Cafe in Camden

I have been visiting here with relatives for the past three years. The food is always amazing and the staff are lovely. The decor is modern and bright and the tables are kept clean.

If you are local to Enfield you will be familiar with Pearsons department store. But I wonder how many people have been to the top floor cafe/restaurant. They have a nice selection of cakes and savoury dishes, and I do recommend their cream tea, a bargain at £5. This place is kids-friendly so it can be noisy, and I couldn’t find a plug therefore I wouldn’t recommend it to do some work at your laptop (unless you have noise-cancelling headphones and a fully charged battery), and wifi is with The Cloud, very slow. Having said all that, I found the place welcoming, the staff very friendly and the cream tea delicious, with a freshly warmed scone. The furniture is a bit worn out and tables don’t get cleaned promptly, otherwise I would have given this cafe a 5 star rating.
