Just had the 3-4 person, massive portions and so so tasty. Can’t recommend them enough.

Had the platter was absolutely tasteless. Not sure if this is a one off or all the time but you could literally see there was no spices in it. Worst Turkish I have ever had. Ruined my iftari.

One of the best Turkish food restaurant in the area. The food is super delicious and the prices are spot on for the generous portion you get. The staff is very polite and the ambience is great, though we have take away most of the time.

I ordered the platter for 5/6 people . Absolutely vile , very poor quality meat and tasted off !. You normally get the charcoal flavour with the chicken and meat kebabs , this time it was odd as the food was bland and tasteless . They must have run out of charcoal and used the gas oven instead . The chicken was off , the shawarma was an off yellow colour , leg/thigh meat used instead of chicken breast and it tasted sour as if it had been washed in vinegar . The meat shawarma was cheap Donor meat . Quality has massively gone downhill . What a waste of time and money . Family were disappointed and we ended up binning the lot . Definitely won’t be returning here again . Avoid !!!!!!

First time visiting the place. I asked if l could have sample taste of lamb and chicken they were more happy to do that. I have to say lamb and chicken shawarma was really tasteful. Lamb doner tasted like proper lamb doner. The nan was slightly on thin side so it broke easily. Update: So l tried the lamb & chicken kofta in a wrap. Great tasting, moist and goes well with salad. Well worth visiting to check out the food.

Best turkish grill around in terms of food and value for money.

Ordered a 2-3 person sharing platter from here and it was delicious, a really good amount of food for the price (unlike some other places that charge so much for so little) and all of it was tasty - especially the chicken wings. The only thing is the rice seemed a bit plain compared to other places, but still didn't take anything away from the rest of the platter, I would highly recommend it and will be ordering from here again.

Ordered food and it said it came and it didn’t, they didn’t answer any calls. Came after an hour and then was mildly warm.

The food is nice and I have been visiting this shop a few times and have had no issues. However one of the workers (male) with a ponytail and glasses he doesnt know how to talk to people and is rude .

Have ordered from here several times now and visited to eat in. The food and service is consistently good. I’m particularly impressed with the value. You get a lot of good food for your money.

Possibly the worst customer service ever. They send out promotions which they don’t honour. I have ordered both online on their website before, and through Mealzo a company they are partnered with. They say that you will get a discount, but when you turn up, they won’t give it. The restaurant owner says it’s nothing to do with them and to contact Mealzo, even though I ordered it on their own website. When you email Mealzo they don’t respond at all. I won’t go back, and suggest you don’t order from this place either. At least don’t bother if they keep texting you discount codes. My wife has had the same problem when ordering from her account too. We used to order from this place every couple of weeks or so, but I’m fed up with it now. If this is how they treat their customers to their face, I can only imagine what they are doing behind the scenes to the food.

Food is nice but i wish they did authentic Turkish chilli and garlic sauce if they did it will be amazing!!

An absolute disappointment to visit this shop. On 29.09.2024, I placed an order on phone at 6.10pm for collection and I was told to come and collect it in next 15 minutes. I went to the shop at 6.25pm to collect my order, sales person at the shop said that the order is not ready and I'll have to wait. I said to the guy that I have to go to the work so could you please get the order ready as soon as possible. In reply to that the sales person from this shop very rudely said to me that there's no food for you and leave the shop, followed by swearing and growling at me. Honestly, I was shocked to see his rude behaviour and extremely negative customer services. I won't go to this shop again. Owner of the shop, if your salespersons will carry on behaving like this with the customers you will lose your customers man. Business are run through the customers services and the rude salespersons always destroy the businesses. From Customer Point of View this shop is not recommended at all. Very bad experience. No chance to go there again.

Had a platter for 5 when there were 4 of us. Food was piping hot, fresh and tasted amazing. I've eaten from a few places similar but this is definitely a place I will be revisiting often. Very good price for the amount of food you get. The naan/roto served with the platter was really soft and tasted fresh. Definitely recommend to everyone!

Look no further if you're looking for Turkish food. The food heres so nice you'd wonder why you haven't found this place earlier. We had the chicken wings, lamb shish and chicken shish platter and it was banging!

I ordered the chicken shish meal. After eating I had a pain in my stomach. After about an hour I had to go to the toilet about 3 times and since then my stomach has not been right. In this day and age if a restaurant cannot look after their hygiene then this place needs to be avoided. Added to the boycott list.

Great value for money. Portion size was excellent on the mix grill. The standard of the kebabs and sheesh was fantastic with really good lamb dinner. This place is my now my go to local diner.

Based on my recent experience ordering take away for my family, I have to say that the food was generally decent and the portions were satisfactory for the price. However, there were several negative aspects to the experience. Firstly, we were given a delivery time of 25 minutes, but in order to pay for the food, we had to download an unfamiliar food delivery app that is similar to Uber Eats but not well-known. After waiting for an hour, we decided to call and inquire about our order. The staff member who answered had difficulty understanding English, but eventually informed us that our order was being prepared and would be delivered soon. It took an additional 30 minutes for our food to arrive. While some of the dishes were decent and tasty, the fries were terrible and lacked flavor, so we ended up throwing most of them away. The chicken strips were overcooked and not enjoyable. Additionally, we did not receive any condiments with our order, which was disappointing considering we spent £50. On a positive note, the lamb and meat shawarma were enjoyable and satisfying. Overall, I would only consider ordering from this place again if there were no other options available, as the food was edible but not exceptional.

Great food. One of the best Turkish restaurants in Birmingham and their platter is amazing. The fresh naan is great as well. The lamb donner is probably the best in Birmingham.

Took good friend to eat here as been recommending it to everyone. Food is delicious and fresh made to order. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We ordered two large mix shawarma with rice and fries. It comes with lovely fresh salad and selection of sauces. We ate till our stomach was full and had lots left over which we got takeaway box to take home. Look forward to returning to try different things from the menu.

Our order came extremely late and cold food was served. The guy on the phone was rude. It was surprising to see he did not show any concerns. It was embarrassing especially when you have guests.

Not overly impressed with the flavours and it wasnt the best 'authentic Turkish cuisine' ive tasted. The donner arrived late and was undercooked. The fries were cooked in 'well used' oil. The chicken kofta was decent but too salty as was the meat kofta, although slightly more decent in taste. The rice was extremely bland and the rest was below average in terms of taste and authenticity. The food sheikh says: I probably won't come here again unless they drastically improve in all departments!

Placed order at 1800 called at 1900 to see where the order was to be told order had been cancelled due to distance. Had no call to inform me. Not good service at all

The staff is great, the food is delicious Turkish style chicken shawarma meat. Was a bit disappointed with the typical Donner meat but it was okay. Overall the food is freshly made on order. I recommend the Turkish style grill meats. You got to try their in-house made tamarind chilli sauce which is simply awesome 👍.

had a sit down meal with my friend. i had the sea bass and she had the lamb. they were both delicious, really enjoyed them. came with loads of salad/grilled veg, and a good naan that they replaced when it was nearly gone. more than enough to fill us up. relaxed atmosphere, friendly, helpful staff. with starters and drinks, the whole thing came to £35 which was very reasonable. would definitely recommend.

I asked for 7 fresh naan breads. They have a plastic bin with cold ones. Then they try and justify its freshness. Scum Turks, penny pinchers. Hopefully packing up soon. They must be like the rejects from Turkey who couldn't run a successful business. Avoid this hole

I visited the shop today (21.09.2023) to buy some Turkish food for myself. This was my first time in that shop. I'm highly impressed with their quality of food and the portion size. Visited this place on several occasions a few years ago when it first opened. Whilst it wasn't exceptional it was quite good then. Today, however, has left a lot to be desired. I ordered a lamb kofteh with fresh naan. Firstly the kofteh itself is by far the worst I've had at any establishment. It was bland, flavourless and had a odour that was sickening. It wasn't raw but was quite hard and chewy. I decided to cook it further on the grill but to no avail as the foul odour remained. The salad whilst in a large container was pitiful. A few strands of lettuceand cabbage, a few slices of onions & over ripe mushy tomato, a large 1/4 of a partially charred onion,a grilled chilli pepper, two halves of grilled tomato and 5 pieces of jalapeño. There was also a pickled chilli that that was flat as a pancake and slice of lemon. I had a mint and garlic sauce. At first I was going to feed the dog with it but I decided that I would be doing an injustice to the dog and the 'food' has gone straight in the outside wheelie bin. This has been my worst ever takeaway meal. Credit where credits due, the restaurant is very clean and well laid out. From my earlier visits I recognised the gentleman making the naans but the other two staff I hadn't seen before. I decided not to ring and complain as I wouldn't accept a replacement as I wouldn't eat it. I have been put off and would not return. Sorry, but this is a just feedback of my experience today

The only Turkish place I eat from absolutely beautiful fresh food every time! They make fresh in front of you and the quality and taste omg you will not be disappointed prob one of the best I have been too and I have been to most popular spots l. Deffo worth a visit

All I'm gonna say is wow! The food is absolutely amazing! It's like a mouthful of sweet heaven! The donner was seasoned to perfection and the shawarma was absolutely outstanding! Salad was nice and refreshing along with the crispy fries, the overall dishes me and my family had where awesome! My family where satisfied went home happy days. 10/10 would recommend. AMAZING! Loved this place and looking forward to going back. The food is fantastic, the prices reasonable and the staff incredibly welcoming and friendly. Mixed grill kebab skewers all freshly grilled (I think) over charcoal and even better THE NAAN was FRESHLY BAKED to order. Literally the best NAAN I've ever had anywhere. Light and fluffy and so delicious. We couldn't help but devour it all before they even served the main dish, but they bought another right over. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Looks like a regular kebab shop but its so much better! The guy working the till also was really chatty and recommended a bunch of other places we might like and a local iranian supermarket to check out. Friendly, local, great value and DELICIOUS. It's worth a trip!

Ordered mixed grill platter for 2. Quality of food was amazing cannot fault at all. Would have preferred more Shwarma than Lamb Doner and mendy rice along side boiled rice but despite this I'd eat from here every day.
