Food is superb....honey chilli chicken is best I've had ..curry just a tad hot for me otherwise it was 5/5... But others will like it that way...great portions and service

Under new owners had 4 different dishes and all delicious, meat was all proper meat , not like other chinese in area , portion sizes larger that previously , best chinese in carrick at the moment

New owners have taken over the quality of the food has dramatically decreased, also cannot get orders correct.

Ordered a basic beef dish , the meat wasn’t how I’ve had it in literally any other Chinese in my lifetime the meat was yellow instead of brown and was extremely chewy. Stinking avoid.

All sauces have changed, prices are far too expensive for the quantity and quality of food you get. No flavour in gravy, the honey chilli sauce is like sweet vinegar, the curry is okay but also quite flavourless. Fried rice is like a mixture between mushy boiled rice with a touch of soy sauce. Starters are nearly £7, ribs are freezing with no taste. Never again, worst Chinese about.

This lady behind the counter is one rude women!!!! Not to mention the order was wrong 3 times and when I got home it was wrong again!!!! I live 20 mins from this Chinese and they wouldn’t even deliver my correct food! The new staff is shocking and the cooks don’t speak English! Have used this Chinese many years but not anymore! Can’t believe the nasty attitude I got from this lady over a chow mein! Manners are free

The oldest Chinese in Carrickfergus. Proper good grub. Never had a bad meal from here.

Ordered a special chop suey. Thinking I was going to get the chop suey sauce. But no. Bbq sauce is what came. Dissuaded. Not good. It was not nice. Never order again

Was staying in the travel lodge down the road and popped in for a curry. I asked the lady behind the counter for it hotter than normal. When it was ready she gave me 4 forks and said you will need these incase they melt... not being local you could see them wishing it was going to tear me a new one in the morning. I got it back it was like the laver from hell....dark red...you could smell the evil in that curry oozing from the sealed tub? But what they didn't know I was a curry champion form North wales and had climbed the wall of flame in many contest...you'll have to try harder to defeat this dragon....Cymru am byth..🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿...😂😂 Images

I just received a delivery of Chicken curry and beef curry. Both curry’s were put straight into the bin as they had absolutely no taste whatsoever. The beef was chewy and tasteless. Chicken was obviously from a frozen packet. Never again. Worst I’ve ever eaten!

Just had a takeaway from the Tung Sing in Carrickfergus and I think it was the worst Chinese takeaway I have ever had and there's been some really bad ones over the years but this was by far the worst, most of it went in the bin, do yourself a favour and go elsewhere, it was extremely poor and I feel sick after eating even a very small amount of it, save your money because that was a waste of £15, it up to you but I really regret paying cash for that slop.

Cant deliver to Greenisland because they are busy, joke

My favourite takeaway, good counter staff, but obviously it's the food that wins here, couple of mentions are, grilled chicken with Peking sauce, Salted chilli squid, special fried rice, are just a couple, but I have never had a dish and thought, not great, the one and only downside is the chips, frozen, if they moved to freshly cut chippy style, they would be on to a massive winner.

Stand out different than any other Chinese. Consistently good. Special fried rice like nowhere else. Also special chow mein, chicken curry. Great prices too. Get it intay ye!

This place gets some bad reviews but I can only comment about what I have had which has been pretty tasty. I had the sweet and sour Cantonese style and it was really nice. The chips were a large portion but had a background taste which wasn't very nice. My wife had a curry boiled rice and it was really nice.

I’ve struggled to find a decent Chinese restaurant Carrickfergus and with the Four Seasons closing, this is the nicest one I’ve found, good value for money and very tasty food. Carrickfergus is still in need of a stand out Chinese though.

Have eaten from the Tung Sing for over 20 years, best curry, kungpo and singapore chow mein in all of Carrick! Highly recommended

Portion size is terrible, tub of curry sauce was smaller than a take away cup of tea and portion of noodles was tiny. Prices same as other Chinese's in Carrick but definitely not worth it here.

Waited for over 1hour 20mins on a gravy chip. Phoned to ask why it took so long and was told 'were not the cookers' what kind of apology is that? Food used to be lovely but now it's took a major dive.

Food quality was just average. Quantity was good but chips were soggy and overall service was just average.

Easily the best Chinese in Carrick. People are complaining about the decor, it's a takeaway. I'm not quite sure what they need or expect? The chicken curry is great.

After a late night in the pub we found this place. Food was good quality and reasonable. We ordered to take away but the restaurant itself looked clean and tidy.

People need to stop moning about the inside/outside of tung sing.bit is a chinese TAKEAWAY. Not a restaurant. Get a grip. Plus its in carrick.. carrick is a hole. The food is great, the service is great and the price is great. What more could you want?

Depending on what you go for, the food is very good. I recommend the chilli chicken and any curry. The look of the place is off putting, but we have always had decent food from here.

It's a good wee chinese, my mum, dad and I always enjoy the food there. However, the whole little box that it is in could do with a bit of a facelift to attract more custom.
