Happy Garden in Carrickfergus

Tried this Chinese for the first time had a salted chilli chicken and curry sauce with fried rice and it’s probably one of the best salted chilli chickens I’ve had in a while. Also bought a portion of prawn crackers, which I’m pretty sure was made to order as they were fresh. All in £14.10 which was pretty reasonable.

Ordered a delivery was told an hr waiting time. An hour and 25 mins later phoned to see where it was and was told the driver is still out and my order isnt on with him. Poor service.

Amazing food but the the lady who serves on Wednesday night is rude and disrespectful.

We had the set dinner for 2 this week and it was fantastic. I wouldn't order Chinese food from anywhere else. Highly recommended.

Bad service put on hold for 25 minutes and then waited 30 minutes to receive my meal and then to be told they have no bacon never be back

Just had the most tasteless curry...asked for minimum onions and it was covered in them looked like they where cut with a fork. The chicken was bland and the rice was also bland. Really not good.

Tremendous Chinese food especially the Chicken Pineapple. So good we ordered 2 nights in a row. Excellent friendly and fast service.Portions very generous too. Highly recommended 👍

Hit and miss this place. Sometimes delicious, others not so good. Think they must use different chefs on different days.

Well that's annoying.. have had lovely meals before from here, well usually get ham fried rice and half chips... so nothing crazy and daring. Tonight I get a sliced chicken supper for the first time... and the last time. Chicken was 100% cooked at some point, whether that be today, yesterday or days ago... infact I could argue it has been cooked, frozen and then defrosted and heated because the texture was crispy.. this is by far, the worst chicken supper I have ever had. The chips were dry, telling me theyve been cooked some time ago and just left under heat or reheated. Lazy chef tonight. And I wont rush back.

He estado llamando aquí cada quince días durante un año sin quejas. Menú muy extenso, servicio amable rápido, no el más caro, permite alrededor de 6 por comida. Grandes porciones. Siempre pida salsa por separado ya que la comida puede saturarse, debido a su generosidad.

We Go here quite often (Its a carry out only). Friendly staff. decent portions and tasty with good selection of meals.

Awesome take away when the owner cooks which thankfully is most of the time. never had any problem changing set menus and very good at getting the food to my preferred heat! Leanne who takes you order has an amazing sense of humor and is a good craic! Loyalty card system which gives you money off your tenth order which is nice. Food 99% of the time excellent and one of the best in the area, delivery is always on time and food hot! Never had bad service and mistake are rectified quickly!!!!
