Tudor Chip Shop in Babergh

I’m not from Hadleigh , Tito’s Italian restaurant was closed which is very good,,, so I Googled, the best chip shop in Hadleigh,,, I was not disappointed, I ordered large cod and large chips and a curry sauce. Fish was fresh, chunky and like a whale, the chips were fresh and cooked the way I like them, slightly crispy, not hard or little bits, just right. The curry sauce was curry sauce, like all chip shops, standard. Very good, I don’t think it can get much better. Well done Tudor chip shop, very happy customer✅

We have always gone to Tudor for our fish & chips and they have always delivered 5* meals. Recently we had a get together for 30 people which Tudor catered for and would like to thank them for being so helpful and providing us with a great service plus those yummy sausage and chips!! Highly Recommend!

Frenchs Care Haven charity quiz night and Tudor supplied our food to 80 people. I can honestly say everyone enjoyed the food, it was all delivered on time, freshly cooked and enjoyed by all. Such a great local business supporting charity events, thank you from us and the rescued animals. We will see you for our next quiz, wouldnt go anywhere else. Superb service and lovely staff 👍

I've been coming to Tudors for the last few years. Always very tasty food (great curry sauce and chicken nuggets), extremely generous portions, lovely friendly staff, and have never got an order wrong (something I've experienced from most other takeaways in Hadleigh! ) 5 + stars

Favourite place to get fish and chips, the battered fish is crispy, and the chips are excellent with a bit of salt and ketchup. I would definitely recommend.

Complete rip off. Paid £15.50 for two small unfresh cod pieces and one potion of awful tasting chips. Avoid!!

A family favourite since it first opened. The quality of the fish and chips is very high, they cook fresh and give good value for money. Staff are really pleasant and helpful, and work hard to keep things moving as fast as they can. When we have visitors from London, they are always amazed by the quality from here, as it is on a par with “cool” Hackney fish and chip places. Considering we are not exactly at the seaside, perhaps this place doesn’t get the recognition it deserves, but it is often very busy and that’s a reflection of how popular it is. A treat when home cooking is just not going to happen in my house.

Can get busy sometimes so there can be a little wait for food to be cooked but it is always fresh and very tasty.

Family visit following the Hadleigh football club fireworks on the 5th of November. Excellent service from smiley happy people, superb fish and chips, excellent sausage and chips and really good pie and chips.

Great little fish and chip shop; Its take away only. The quality is very good. Chips have a crunch and are fluffy in middle. The fish has crispy but light batter. Prices and quantity here are very good, strongly recommend.

Huge pieces of fish, nice and crispy. One large order of chips is enough for our family of 3.

Great chippy, great service, friendly staff

Ordered 2 large Haddock and a large chips last night for lunchtime today, it was ready when I arrived, the lady wrapped it really well in paper so it stayed hot and the fish batter stayed crispy when we got to eat it. There were plenty of chips for two of us. Would heartily recommend.

Collected a big order this evening for a group of elderly single folk in Hadleigh so impressed. Order ready and carried to the boot of my car. Fantastic service and a real sumptuous treat. Thank you

25 minutes for a portion of chips! There was only 4 people in there. Also £2.80 for a portion of chips that was cooked in dirty chip fat, the smell turned my stomach. Never had such service from a chip shop in my life! My husband was more patient than me but even he was getting annoyed once we'd hit the 20minute mark. Definitely won't be returning.

I ordered large chips today's when I opened the bag they was a regular sized portion of chips.

There are 3 fish & chip shops in Hadleigh. This one is in a different league compared to the others - Easily the best quality!! Also much better than the shops in Aldeburgh that people stand and queue for!

Everyone is friendly and the food is very tasty
