Tudor Cafe in Watford

Yeah, I don't know what to say. It's a pretty nice cafe. The food was ok. I had the lamb roast, which was ok, but for the price, I could not complain. Now, the service, the waitress does rush you, gets a little antsy, if you are not ready to order , kinda of one of those places in London city where , the expectation is to order quick, eat quick, now you finish go! But i kinda like the service, as although the waitress was antsy, I played antsy as well! So it was like a game , where we were competing and then a laugh at the end! Maybe it's part of the whole characteristic of the cafe?!

I've bin going here for years.the food and staff are excellent as always and I've never had a bad experience we are always very well looked after.

My daughters. Grand children and I go to Tudor cafe at least once a month. As the service is good, food is excellent and the bill is reasonable. Cannot ask for anything more. Definitely recommend

We stumbled on this little cafe in Watford and what a find! Great atmosphere, prompt service and delicious food all for very affordable prices. We will certainly visit again if we are in the area and would highly recommend.

I get my lunch here often as I work close by. We tend to take out our lunch rather than eat in but it seems like a family friendly atmosphere. The staff are really nice and always welcoming and the food is delicious! I always get a jacket potato and the salad that comes with it is just yummy too!

Super friendly staff in this busy cafe. Proper local cafe. Staff know the locals and are very attentive. Spent a few hours here working on my laptop while my car windscreen was repaired. Great atmosphere, good food and would definitely come back!

AVOID food isn’t cooked properly. Also very dirty in the cafe it’s self leaves all over the floor dust everywhere on the sides and the waitress never stop moaning. Ever since the prievous owners have left this cafe has become absolutely foul

AVOID! New chef is the worst, will make your order wrong then blame customer and be very rude and smug about the situation and he himself is very unhygenic (watch him cook and you'll notice). Till person will short change you and the owners daughter will sigh loudly at doing work and her Dad wonders why people go elsewhere. Used to be great before the new chef and staff came along. Don't waste a trip here, the far superior Mill Lane Cafe is just a short drive away.

Ordered a coffee which was not coffee but milk with a bit of coffee in it. Charge £1.80 for a coffee which made me ill and had to be thrown away. Discusting drink whatever it was. Will not be buying from this cafe again EVER

Bit overwhelming to eat here if you aren't part of the usual crowd. Plates and cups all chipped, bit dangerous! Food is a bit greasy, a bit more expensive than other cafes. Not great, would rather go somewhere else.

Great selection of drinks, and the food was very tasty...indoors there are pool tables, darts, and screens with various sports showing. Outdoor you would find one that's a massive garden area to the side with chairs and tables, including a play area sand pit, with swings and monkey bars at the end that can keep kiddies entertained while you have your pint or 2.
