Great sushi, I've been a customer for months, but today the service was terrible, I placed an order for two rotations with my boyfriend, we ate the first plate and placed the second order and I waited for 40 minutes, when I decided to call the attendant and explain the situation to him. He said I was screaming and then asked me to leave, without even letting me complete my order, he simply shouted at me telling me to leave for no reason at all, oppressing me in front of everyone I felt super humiliated, it was terrible experience I am extremely disappointed. Second time here and always had the pleasure of dining at Tsukiji in Tooting Broadway Market, and it was nothing short of exceptional! The sushi was incredibly fresh and great quality, with each piece expertly crafted, bursting with flavor and melt-in-your-mouth textures. The sashimi and the dragon rolls were some of the best I’ve ever had, and the chef’s selection of sushi was beautifully presented. The staff were warm and attentive, ensuring that our experience was seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. The setting within the vibrant market adds a unique charm to the overall experience. Whether you’re a sushi connoisseur or just looking for a memorable meal, Tsukiji is a hidden gem that should not be missed. I will definitely be back for more!

The sushi here is similar to high street chains rather than sushi restaurants. The sushi is covered in sauces mayo and cream cheese to cover the fact most on the unlimited platter are filled with tempura prawn and canned tuna. The pineapple and salmon roll suggest they pander more to perhaps local taste than actual sushi. The salmon and tuna sushimi were definitely frozen and not very tasty. The tempura served pre meal was undercooked with the batter soft in the middle. The service was not very good, very uncommunicative staff and extremely hard to get their attention. Both the tables next to us complained about this. The Caribbean cocktails were beyond too strong and we couldn’t taste any of the mixers just alcohol which worsened our experience. A year ago I had a different experience but it seems the quality has declined as a year ago service was great, helpful and I wrote a positive review. Food and cocktails were also much better.

Updated review below with before and after pictures. UPDATE: unfortunately this is not my local anymore because after today my family and I will not be returning. We had the fortune to be one of the first to try this place 2 years ago when the owner was still in the kitchen. Since he left the kitchen and they expanded, the food is so basic, the service is non existent and it’s missing the wow factor it once had. OLD REVIEW: Hands down best sushi in tooting! They take a lot of care and do things properly. My new local *the first photo is what we got today and the other 3 were what we used to get 1-2 years ago*

Considering the location which is a market, it was fairly quiet for a Saturday but started picking up more past 9pm. The food was very good and the service and general cleanliness were on point too. The presentation of the food as you can see is very good too with the glass being stuck to the plate with cooked rice which is genius. The platter is not the only thing you get and as "all you can eat" suggests you can order many other things on their menus as much as you like for the inclusive price. Will be visiting again.

The place is inside Tooting Market as one of the night time food stalls. We've been trying other places here before and decided to give Tsukiji a try. Went for the Eat-All-You-Can deal at £27.50 per person. You get Miso soup and Edamame beans as well as some Prawn Tempura. Then they serve a large platter of various sushi and sashimi. Quite filling although quality could be better. Service was quick and courteous.

Sushi Fusion is a place I wholeheartedly recommend to any fan of Japanese cuisine. Every visit there is a true feast for the senses. The food is amazing – fresh, tasty, and creatively presented. Each piece of sushi is meticulously prepared, which is evident and appreciated from the very first bite. The portions are really generous, which will certainly please those who value hearty meals. Another highlight is the pricing – at Sushi Fusion, the food is not expensive, which is a pleasant surprise given the high quality of the dishes served. Our entire group was very satisfied with the visit, and most importantly, we frequently return to Sushi Fusion and always leave happy. The staff is friendly and professional, and the atmosphere of the place is pleasant and conducive to relaxation. Keep up the great work!

Not authentic sushi, mostly tempura prawn and cooked fish with the slightest raw fish that is not the freshest, over dressed the sushi with condiments and weird combinations of sushi filling Located in the middle of a market with small seating spaces, below average experience You can get great sushi deals in other places in London for £30 you dont have to come here at all

Went for the “all you can eat” sushi, I was disappointed to find that is was 85%+ prawn tempura in rolls with other rolls filled with literally canned tuna. There were only 4-8 pieces of actual nigiri and sashimi - I was assured by staff that the appetisers and main platter would be dairy free only to have a reaction after the meal. I don’t know if we went on an off day but I will not be going back soon! - Staff were lovely but for the price & quality I won’t be going back in a hurry.

This place was fantastic. A hidden gem tucked away on Tooting High Street, it’s a very short walk from the station. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a street full of food stalls in South or East Asia. It felt like being instantly transported out of London. Packed to the brim with small restaurants, my friend and I headed to the viral sushi scene. The staff greeted us pleasantly, and we found a small table. These are not amazing seating, they are all foldable chairs and tables as they were PACKED! The starters and sushi came so quickly, and we were a bit skeptical of the quality. These doubts were eradicated pretty fast when we tasted the gorgeous combination of flavours they served. I enjoyed the miso soup, and the prawn tempura. The sushi platter was so much! For £26.50 they really packed it out and we couldn’t finish it, let alone get more (as it is bottomless!). I was so satisfied and let me tell you, their cocktails? Absolutely delicious. They can mix their drinks well. When we stepped out, back into the high street, it felt like we had to adjust back to London. Definitely felt like we fell back through a portal from this haven. Reality of going home did not sit well! I’ll definitely be going back.

BEST PLACE for sushi in South London! My friend and I went in Friday night without a reservation. I know. We were so lucky to find seats. We were thinking of going to this place for a long time—more than 2 months. So we decided to go. Although it was super busy, we ordered all you can eat for £27.50 plus two glasses of rose each. We absolutely love it! I really recommend this place, but once you know what you would love to order again, do it, as it takes a long time to come and they have a 1.5-table policy. I’m thinking of going as soon as my partner is back in the country, as it was spectacular. Also, the waiter speaks Spanish, just in case you need to. See you super soon, guys!

Pretty decent value for money. We had the bottomless for £27.50 pp and it included a tray of dumplings / gyoza and bowl of edamame beans alongside the main sushi platter so you definitely won’t leave hungry. The sushi itself is fairly average, way too many of the sushi rolls had cream cheese and / or were fried. It’s one thing for one of the sushi options to incorporate Philadelphia (as it’s referred to on the menu) but several did and it’s very overpowering. Finally, something to keep in mind for warmer weather is that the tables are out in the main food arcade and there’s no aircon so the air can get pretty thick and humid.

Been wanting to try this place for a while, it’s local to me, which is probably why I kept pushing it back. Easy to locate, nestled away in Tooting Broadway market, and spread across two units, it was very reminiscent of Brixton Village. We ordered the all you can eat platter (1 hour and 30 minutes limit) for £27.50 per person, that’s the reason we wanted to go, and by the looks of the other customers the reason they also went. The staff were super attentive, we arrived at 1pm as it opened, and it was fairly busy. With everything being made to order with fresh ingredients, meant a short wait, but that’s understandable. First to arrive was the miso soup, followed by the edamame, then the veg gyoza, chicken gyoza and prawn tempura. The 40 piece sushi platter was well presented, when the waiter asked what we would like to reorder I was so tempted to say same again, in all honesty the starters and the platter was quite filling on their own. We reordered a few of our favourite sushi rolls, not to get value for money but because they were so delicious, being a fusion restaurant they had a few unique flavours, I totally loved the Philadelphia and salmon combination. I’ve had better sushi, but not at this price point and there are a few unique flavours, the fact that everything is made to order is a real bonus. I will definitely be returning at some point, maybe later in the evening to experience a different vibe, or maybe just for a poke bowl.

Food was good, value for money. However service is extremely slow despite not having a lot of customers. We waited an average of 25 minutes for each order and 45 min for an order and it was wrong as well, the waiter had forgotten our order and we had to remind him (no apologies but whatever), probably why it took so long as well. They told us we have 1.5 hours for all you can eat but what's the point if service takes this much time. At 9 pm they told us the kitchen was closed but they initially said 10:30 pm. Sad because the food is actually nice. Concerning the atmosphere, not the restaurant's fault but tooting market needs some serious renovation; the place stinks and looks very let down.

Heard loads of raving reviews about this place, came all the way down to tooting to check it out. The food was extremely disappointing, much like supermarket sushi. Some of the fish warm to the touch and tasted of plastic. They avoid putting the more expensive cuts on the platter eg. nigiri. The craziest part is that they water down the soy sauce to the point of it barely being salty at all. I feel that most of the people leaving positive reviews aren’t familiar with actual sushi. My stomach started to feel troubled about 20 minutes after leaving and I was quite sick after. Broadway market has a great vibe and the staff were really kind and attentive (at a cost of 12.5% of your bill).

Worst experience ever. We drove more than 2 hours from Cambridge to try this sushi restaurant in Fulham my wife saw in social media. Booked a table for 3 at 7pm. We tried the all you can eat offer of £27.50 per person which comprises of 1 starter per customer and 40 pieces of chef’s choice of sushi as initial meal. These 40 pieces are offered for 2 people but if it’s a company of 3 customers it will still be 40 pieces they will serve. After this, there are top-up selection of sushi that can be ordered and this is where the problem starts. We ordered our top up of 4 items and it took them 35 minutes to serve it. We already noticed that they didn’t have much staff working but in spite of this they seem to have accepted a lot of reservations and accepting all walk in customers. At 8 pm, Emily (one of the waitresses who we also noticed preparing the sushi) approached us and said they need our table and our next order will be given as take away. Emily said that they have 90 minutes of time limit and their chef couldn’t cope with the demand. I argued that we’ve only been an hour (60 minutes), and it took them a long time to serve our top up order. Emily said because they prepare their sushi fresh that’s why it takes time. 35 minutes for 16 pieces of sushi? I said it’s not our fault and they shouldn’t be accepting their full capacity of customers if they couldn’t cope with it. My wife and my daughter just wanted to leave and lost their appetite and excitement. I was so angry and felt we were scammed. We think that because we already have a set of price to pay they can send us away even they fell short of service. AVOID this restaurant at all cost! It’s not All you can eat, it’s what they want to serve when they want to serve!

I tried booking through the website for tonight for a special birthday dinner. Had a confirmation message after booking but when we arrived there was no one at the restaurant, no one behind the counter and no one in the kitchen. There were no signs or posters anywhere about the restaurant being closed so we waited around for about 10 minutes but no one showed up. We noticed booking names and times on a few tables for times that had recently passed but no other diners there so no idea what happened. I was very disappointed as I was looking forward to sushi and very confused how the restaurant just didn’t open without warning those who had booked…

This was my second time coming here, and it was a just-as-amazing experience as the first time I came a year ago. The sushi was delightful and prepared in front of us, and the waiter and chef were very kind to us. Quick service, cosy atmosphere and easy to get to - would definitely come here again! Thank you for having us, Tsukiji!

Sushi pyszne jak na cenę27f i miejsce to co widać na zdjęciu to całe menu. Po zjedzeniu talerza można sobie dobrać to na co ma się siłę zjeść.Czas 1.5h.

Sushi is decent, very very westernised. If you go for the buffet, there is not enough sashimi and lots of rice. It is technically a buffet, but from the starters and main, chances are you will be full.

The food is incredible good, the staff are very friendly and the owner of the place came to talk to us about the origin of the fish. We recommend the place

The decor is very pretty and great for photographs. The food was delicious and good size of portions too. The only thing which was somewhat disappointing was the time taken for the food to arrive. The waitress explained that they were busy (we were there at midday for brunch/lunch). However, they really need to look at their staffing/ systems if this happens regularly. I would happily go again (and hope not to wait so long for my food)

Such a horrible experience. Just now (5.10pm Saturday) me and my friend walked in to have some drinks and asked for a table for two. We were told by the waiter at the entrance they are not accepting customers. However, there were already people inside the restaurant being served and many tables were empty which we could see from outside. We are two south Asian women - we were denied because we dont look like them?

Ate at Made In Italy on 30th October. Service was poor, we were rushed (we only had the table for an hour from sitting down) - plates were taken whilst other members of our party were still eating. The last person eating had their plate taken whilst they had picked up their last slice of pizza (and so had nowhere to put it down!) Food tasted ok. Nothing special but nothing horrendous. Crucially, I did get food poisoning the following morning. I would not return. There are far better Italian restaurants in London.
