I was served by Rosie she was so amazing and extremely helpful. The drinks from Sam and Mark were delightful and refreshing. Will definitely be coming back!

Hands down the highest quality cocktail bar in Nottingham! Unlike most bars, everything they use is fresh so each cocktail is unique and doesn’t just taste sweet. Some really cool cocktails that they’ve created themselves that you won’t see anywhere else. Service is incredible and super personal, they’re very knowledgeable about the menu and take the time to recommend drinks based on what you like. Highly recommend, you’ll never be disappointed 🍹🌴

Quite expensive, and i, personally, didn't enjoy the drinks. But still, very nice and atmospheric to hang around with friends

Bang average cocktails at high prices. Staff seem more interested in drinking and entertaining their friends than serving customers. Didn't eat so can't really rate the food either way, but I'm sure it's fine. Wouldn't visit again given the many better options in the area.

If you’re looking for a hidden gem, look no further. I tried the Pandan Piña Colada, Zombie and an American Beauty and they did not disappoint - they were all delicious in their own way. The service was 10/10 too - we were guided through the menu and were explained the origins of each drink. Everyone was so welcoming too! Recommend 110%

Tropichol is a Nottingham staple on Hurts yard alongside 400 Rabbits serving a combination of classic Tiki cocktails and unique originals They have a massive selection of rums and other spirits as well as their own home blended rums The house £6 daiquiri utilising Dropworks, a local Nottingham rum is a specific callout. Easily one of the best daiquiris you'll get for that price but they'll happily mix you any number of quality rums into this classic cocktail. The Piña colada was also a particular stand out. Utilising some of their house rums and then blended it creates an incredible flavour profile and texture. Easily one of the best Piña coladas I've had. I'd highly recommend trying out this bar and the new adjoining venue serving food!

You know down hurts yard it's special. Because Tropichol is here. First came down here, just after covid I think? Popped in just to try a cocktail and ended up staying. A lot of love goes into these cocktails and a lot of talent is here. Friendly and decor is cute. I've had food previously and it was great and there's going to be more focus on food too in the near future (Oct 2024) Definitely recommend, as tiki themed and gorgeous cocktails. Hurts yard is great for the smaller bars. For me I've tried a fair few cocktail bars but Tropichol is the one I come back to time and time again.

I’ve been looking for somewhere for date night or good drinks in a while that don’t taste like sugar. This bar is exceptional. The service is very personal and I explained what alcohol I liked and also my friend who doesn’t drink alcohol and all drinks were adapted. 10/10. The bottomless brunch is what we had and I would definitely come again. We had joey who serviced us x

The vibe, food, and cocktails are all amazing. But i must say the staff are even more amazing. My server, Joey I believe his name was, he served with a smile and a twinkle in his eye. He seemed like he had the whole world in his hands, but it was just my drinks.

Really nice drinks and reasonably priced during happy hour. I would say the vibe of downstairs is nicer than upstairs, the only real negative of downstairs is that it smells strongly of cheese because they're making sauce for tacos

When I first walked into this bar I was coerced into having a drink that I had never had before, When I got settled, I found myself A box of magic into the matrix. Who owns this place who manages this place? Who cares? Who is Alex? Who is Chong?? Come See for yourself, 10 out of 10 would recommend

all of the bar staff are incredibly friendly and lovely to chat to, the drinks are very reasonably priced whilst being extremely creative - they have lots of classic cocktails with a unique twist, and also some that i've never heard of before which are equally delicious! the menus are all hand drawn art, the service is always so quick and on fridays and saturdays they serve amazing homemade tacos which are as good as tacos i've had from high end mexican restaurants:) 10/10, love it here, special thank you to joey and mark who served us and made our drinks!

We weren't expecting to find a new favourite bar when we stumbled on Tropichol in Hurts Yard, but their imaginative and creative cocktails absolutely blew me away - I've never been to a Tiki bar with such fantastic drinks before, and we're actively praying for the day when the delicious pork shoulder tacos that they serve on Fridays & Saturdays are available on weekdays - it's actually a bit scary that a small bar can put out food that's on the level of our other small-plate local faves like Kushi-Ya (Guardian Restaurant of the Year 2023), Iberico World Tapas (Michelin Bob Gourmand), & Taqero. We had some great cocktails from Joey & Mark today - in particular I had an off-the-menu cocktail from Joey - I would actively encourage you to discuss your tastes with the staff here, as to a man they're incredibly friendly & helpful. In conclusion - go to Tropichol! You ain't regret it - I promise 😉

An amazing bottomless brunch! I assumed that the quality of the cocktails would be worse during bottomless but was consistently amazing. The pina coladas and soleros were outstanding and 10/10 would recommend.

The staff were incredibly friendly, taking the time to understand my preferences and making spot-on recommendations. They are creating an atmosphere that’s both welcoming and refined. First time in tropichol last night….. the best cocktails we’ve found in Nottingham! All the cocktails are unique, well thought out smooth to drink. The guys serving were excellent, chatting through the menu with us to ensure we found the perfect drink! The homemade coffee tequila (submarine shots) are a must try when you visit

Went here on a whim because 400 rabbits was full and thank god. Best cocktail bar in Nottingham. Joey was so informative and funny, we felt really taken care of. My drink literally came in a bathtub and my friends had alcoholic ice cream on top

We have visited here a few times now. The service is always excellent and very friendly and the cocktails are great. Today we had the bottomless brunch, it was great value for money. The tacos were very tasty and we had many delicious cocktails. The service was quick and efficient, so we were able to have quite a few cocktails in the 90 minutes. We have been to other places that offer a bottomless menu, and found them to be very slow with the drinks, which I sometimes feel is intentional with a bottomless deal. This was not the case at Trophicol. I recommend trying this bar when visiting Nottingham.

I’ve been a few times before for drinks and the cocktails are just amazing. Gave their bottomless brunch a try today. Their tacos were equally impressive and the cocktail selection available was sublime.
