Had an amazing time at Tropichol last night! 100% recommend and we’ll definitely be back. Found it on Instagram and it was exactly what we expected—and then some! Service was top tier (11/10 for sure), and the drinks were on point. The first drink on the menu with orange juice was AMAZING (definitely a new fave), and what we called ‘the tub’ and ‘the frog’—both were gorgeous. The tacos were fire, and fingers crossed they have nachos next time! 🤞 Can’t wait to return!"

Went for a bottomless brunch as usual place was fully booked and I'm glad it was! Tacos were awesome and the cocktails on the brunch menu were far beyond what I had expected. The staff were also very friendly and passionate. Would definitely go again for a brunch/some tacos and or cocktails! Best Pina Colada I've ever had!

Table service. Food isn't available on site, they fetch it from the restaurant next door. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Not many alcohol free drinks.

Out on a date night and popped in to try a cocktail, all I can say is oh my god unreal absolute beauties. I fell for the zombie drink, the other half had the bathtub one which was really nice but solero one of that's beautiful. The staff are brilliant so friendly and so helpful. I'd recommend anyone to visit this little hidden gem, il definitely be visiting again

Absolutely amazing! Cannot fault this place. I go to a lot of cocktail bars where it tastes like alcohol mixed with sugar and you can’t tell the difference from one cocktail to the next. But Tropichol is not like that at all. The flavours have been designed and considered as if designing a food menu. Considering how flavours complement each other, and how to put a twist on much loved classics. They also hit the perfect balance of being little quirky and very welcoming, and not pretentious in the slightest. You MUST go here when in Nottingham! Keep up the amazing work Tropichol ❤️ I had the pandan pina colada and my husband had the Guadalupe Sour 🍸 🍹

Wow!! Where to start… the service offered by Joey was impeccable! The lost world ceramic drink, with its home made pineapple rum truly stole the show. So delicious 😍. Will definitely be going out of my way to visit on a regular basis. An experience never to forget!

Hands down the highest quality cocktail bar in Nottingham! Unlike most bars, everything they use is fresh so each cocktail is unique and doesn’t just taste sweet. Some really cool cocktails that they’ve created themselves that you won’t see anywhere else. Service is incredible and super personal, they’re very knowledgeable about the menu and take the time to recommend drinks based on what you like. Highly recommend, you’ll never be disappointed 🍹🌴

Bang average cocktails at high prices. Staff seem more interested in drinking and entertaining their friends than serving customers. Didn't eat so can't really rate the food either way, but I'm sure it's fine. Wouldn't visit again given the many better options in the area.

If you’re looking for a hidden gem, look no further. I tried the Pandan Piña Colada, Zombie and an American Beauty and they did not disappoint - they were all delicious in their own way. The service was 10/10 too - we were guided through the menu and were explained the origins of each drink. Everyone was so welcoming too! Recommend 110%

The staff are very helpful and give tips on choosing drinks. The cocktails here are served in bizarre vessels. Definitely an eye-catcher.

Tropichol is a Nottingham staple on Hurts yard alongside 400 Rabbits serving a combination of classic Tiki cocktails and unique originals They have a massive selection of rums and other spirits as well as their own home blended rums The house £6 daiquiri utilising Dropworks, a local Nottingham rum is a specific callout. Easily one of the best daiquiris you'll get for that price but they'll happily mix you any number of quality rums into this classic cocktail. The Piña colada was also a particular stand out. Utilising some of their house rums and then blended it creates an incredible flavour profile and texture. Easily one of the best Piña coladas I've had. I'd highly recommend trying out this bar and the new adjoining venue serving food!

You know down hurts yard it's special. Because Tropichol is here. First came down here, just after covid I think? Popped in just to try a cocktail and ended up staying. A lot of love goes into these cocktails and a lot of talent is here. Friendly and decor is cute. I've had food previously and it was great and there's going to be more focus on food too in the near future (Oct 2024) Definitely recommend, as tiki themed and gorgeous cocktails. Hurts yard is great for the smaller bars. For me I've tried a fair few cocktail bars but Tropichol is the one I come back to time and time again.

I’ve been looking for somewhere for date night or good drinks in a while that don’t taste like sugar. This bar is exceptional. The service is very personal and I explained what alcohol I liked and also my friend who doesn’t drink alcohol and all drinks were adapted. 10/10. The bottomless brunch is what we had and I would definitely come again. We had joey who serviced us x

The vibe, food, and cocktails are all amazing. But i must say the staff are even more amazing. My server, Joey I believe his name was, he served with a smile and a twinkle in his eye. He seemed like he had the whole world in his hands, but it was just my drinks.

Really nice drinks and reasonably priced during happy hour. I would say the vibe of downstairs is nicer than upstairs, the only real negative of downstairs is that it smells strongly of cheese because they're making sauce for tacos
