Absolutely love this wee place. Everything is made fresh to order, you have to try the pizza crunch with cheese and curry sauce. Stunning!!

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! Food was cold and the donner meat was rubbery. Garlic mayo was absolutely horrid. Please do not eat here if you want to not have a bad stomach!

Was the only chippy open in Troon at 10.40 on a Saturday. My fish and chips were bang average. Not bad but I’ve had a lot better

Always a decent pizza or calzone, jump in prices recently is a bit much tho, £9 calzone last month is a £14 calzone this month, no change to the product :-/

Thank you for being the only place in Troon to make kebabs that was delicious and proper unlike the rest of Troon

Visited here for the first time on Sunday evening as our regular Chip Shop was only accepting cash. Next time we visit Troon we shall visit Troon Chippy and Chicken Bar again - the food Fish Suppers were excellent and very tasty. Would highly recommend 10/10

Actually disgusting. The place was stinking of old, dirty oil and the food tasted of it too. Completely dry and I couldnt even taste the salt and vinegar, the old oil flavour was that strong. I'm convinced they use fake reviews. Never again.

Never again will I go to this chip shop… the fish was ok.. however the chip were an absolute joke.. to charge someone for this is disgusting.

Stopped off to enjoy the beach and seafront so thought we'd grab dinner. Food was superb, hot and really tasty. Service was great and really quick as well

Food was OK, had better. We both had the fish which was not bad. They'd ran out of mushy peas and this was about 6pm. We had to heat it up as not very hot when we got it home and it was a 2 minute walk so not far. Chips were bland. Good if you want cheap food, not if you want tasty food.

Ordered a king kebab and large chips recently. Usually top notch food and at times the chicken kebab is amazing and very flavoursome. But the portion for the lamb was tiny, that you could easily put the amount on a toothpick, also had been over cooked. The Donner looked as if it had been sitting for some time with the chips not being a large portion as stated. They gave us extra chips and was on point for delivery with these. Thanks Just disappointing and wary about ordering again in the future. Gave it 3 stars as chicken kebab and sauce in the past was lovely.

Chips were good, but chicken goujons tasted of oil and were crumbling when you eat them. The inside chicken part was very hard to bite into and chewy.

Stopped off for a bag of chips x 2 and 2 drinks. The chips were brilliant, all finished of with a pickled egg.

Only had the chip roll so not an extensive review. Lovely chips, good bread but no butter on the roll! Food was quick, freshly cooked and staff were nice. Central location was handy with hungry kids in tow. Much quicker to get food here than at The Wee Hurrie elsewhere in town.

Great Chippy, no complaints from us guys had a great fish supper and all the kids ate all their dinners up, nicely priced also.

Top quality fish and chips. Nice hand cut type chips and very fresh haddock in light crispy batter. Had it twice and been great. A little pricy at £8.80 for the large size but hey worth it.

given the wrong order and then my correct order came and i found a hair in my chips and cheese.

Worst food av ever tasted, chicken had the strongest taste,cheap as hek,chips wer reheats n smoked sausage was dried out.i called to complain and they just said,ok,sorry. Not good enough,16quit and it went in bin. Terrible

Nice that it's a mix of regular chippy food, but also items like kebabs and pakora to mix it up

Ordered last night via Just Eat - part of my order didn't arrive (the drinks) and I immediately told the delivery driver who said to call them and they'll send out on next run, did so and they said they'd send it out ASAP. It's the next morning and still waiting 😂 Edit: reply stating drinks were sent out - it wasn't. I wasn't offered an apology OR refund and that's why I've left a negative review. Something I wouldn't do lightly.

I have just finished off fish and chips, freshly cooked chips, chunky fish and light batter, melt in the mouth, I would highly recommend, we used them previously and never been disappointed!!

No curry sauce (paid for), no can of fanta (paid for), no pickle (paid for) and no salt and vinegar on anything unless it was watered down vinegar and low sodium sake! Covid rules say you must order outside (happy to do so) but it seemed ok for some people to go in (and no, they weren't delivery drivers). Not the best I'm afraid

Poorly cooked. For a seaside town poor quality fish

Ordered Large Shish Lamb Kebab and Special Fish for takeaway and waited outside for order for 30 minutes The Special Fish was over cooked and cold and the Shish Kebab was also cold. Extremely disappointed and called to complain. But I was told that my food was freshly made. This may have been the case but it still was Cold. And they didn’t seem bothered.

Shish kebabs are brilliant, everything else is decent too. Troon used to be poor for kebabs, not anymore!

Was alright, the nachos could be doing with more salsa and sour cream n cheese, they were dry with loads of chicken, better luck next time

Good food with sizable portions, but system for ordering is not clear to those who are visiting. If there is a queue in the shop, these are people who have already ordered. Make your order at the perspex screen on the left as you go on, then join the back of the queue. Don't worry, you won't have to wait long :-)

Food was ok, not the best in the world, pizza crunch was overcooked, chips undercooked but fish was nice but overpriced. Waited about 20 mins for it to be ready. Wouldn't return any time soon

Last twice has been terrible. Food freezing and order was wrong.

Very poor place and I would avoid at all cost. Don’t deliver the food on time. And when you phone to ask about it, they are just rude and put the phone down on you. Ordered a very large order the other night and it was freezing cold. Had more chance of getting a warm sausage roll from Greggs. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Used to go here all the time and the food is lovely but they've lost my custom after I asked to use the toilet to be told no after I explained I was pregnant he still told me no most people know that it is dangerous to hold in the toilet while pregnant and it is also unprofessional looking with a shop full of customers to tell me I couldn't use there toilet while being pregnant they have definitely lost my respect and custom after this! Feel totally disappointed in the place

I used to love this place. However it changed hands and I just don't think it's anywhere near as good.
