Trinity Bar & Grill in Derry

I took my mum and family out for her Birthday. Booked a table for 6pm so it wasnt too late for her. Seating was well arranged, the decor maybe busy but can be a great conversation piece. The staff were attentive, friendly and down to earth which I much prefer over the overly professional you can get in places which makes those places in particular feel very disingenuous. The food was fantastic, great sized portions especially for the price, I highly recommend steak night especially as they cook their steak perfectly which is rare (no pun intended). Overall apart from a few gentlemen who were a tad disruptive who entered which is of no fault to the staff who tried to deal with them while being very apologetic to us which they didnt need to be, the Trinity Derry is a great place to book for a lovely night out with good food and people. I wish to thank the staff there who were on the evening of November 7th especially for being so welcoming, kind and attentive. You are fantastic.

The food was excellent and the portions were huge! The price was quite reasonable. The staff were helpful and courteous. I would highly recommend this restaurant and I would definitely go back!!

Good food and service , both times we ate their , could not fault anything . And great value , much cheaper than near us in Essex and better food . A great night out .

The atmosphere and decor is just fine and gives a warm welcoming look. Food was ok, nothing over the top just basic food, better probably for lunch than dinner. Service below average. Was basically ignored most of the time including even getting the menus. Had to get up and ask for them. It was like the waiters didn't know who was serving our table. Could have been better, maybe it was the management don't know. Potential is there, just not hitting on all cylinders right now.

Husband ordered a medium rare ribeye steak. When steak arrived we discussed if it was cooked as ordered. Called the waiter who lifted the plate went down a few steps and said he thinks it’s the lighting. Left it back down. Steak was very over cooked. Steak was left and sides ate. Very disappointed as previous visits the food was amazing. Manager took payment but didn’t ask about meal as he usually does.
