Mr Chippy in Derry

Paid almost £40 for a meal and was extremely disappointed, the food overall wasn’t nice and had no seasoning, the chips were raw and the most disappointing and disgusting part was while I was eating chicken strips I found a short black hair in my food and nobody in my family has black hair so after that I was so disgusted I couldn’t eat anything else. Very disappointed.

I ordered a small chip cheese n taco tonight. 80% of the chips were raw. I would of went back with it but wouldn't be arsed we the walk. Not hard to fry chips.

Grabbed a quarter pounder on a weekday night, it was great

Grabbed a chicken burger & fish n chips. Tasted great and service was brilliant. Would recommend for a quick and easy bite!

Staff are wonderful and food was unreal. Stuffed as the portions are massive.

Such a lovely experience! Women who were running the shop were so lovely and helpful, and the chips were crispy and hot.

Was told because of a Sunday dish that my whole order was cancelled that contained two other items I came to collect to be greeted to no food do better guys if you want to maintain custom bunch of time wasters

Got a steak wrap meal there at night. The ladies were lovely, service was fast, and the food delicious. There was way too much! Absolutely worth the money and glad I found it as there's not many options in this area.

Best food and great value every time. Staff are fantastic as well. The best Sunday dinner in town

Great food just delivery needs to get better

waited an hour on 1 bag of chips, arrived cold and it was not worth the steep up charge of £4 delivery, save your money and time and order from any other place!

This place is absolutely shocking disgusting behaviour from the staff and when I got my food the portion sizes were awful chips were not cooked properly in the middle and found a bone also in the battered sausages in the baguette and it's a terrible place for customer service we had to throw everything out now even cheese on a chips cheese and taco don't think the staff have even organised orders right or anything or done any quality checks on them either so the way they spoke to me on the phone was horrific they cursed down the phone and said I was drunk just being completely terrible about the whole situation when all I wanted was a refund for a disgrace of a takeaway nothing came right and I hope all customers can take this on this business is so dealt with shockingly.

The food was absolutely shocking chips were raw in the middle chicken was like rubber with bones in it and the portion sizes are an absolutely disgrace. Staff was very rude when I called up to say about my order was cursing down the phone at me and Told me to stay off the drink when I wasn’t even drinking this place needs shut down and staff need to learn manners

We called into this establishment on Friday evening for dinner, after spending all day on the Peace Bridge wiring the pyro and waterfall for the fireworks display. Being from Belfast, I was just gonna eat from one of the stalls that was on the quayside as part of the Maritime Festival as I wasn't sure where the eating houses were at. While walking the quayside I ran into a guy from Donegal I knew who sent me to this establishment. So up we went! The big fella I was with and myself had a large chicken box each, and a slushie. The 3 girls in the shop were great craic, one even told me they didn't sell slushies when I ordered them after ordering the food. Who in turn was then mocked by the other girls in the shop. The food and slushie was great, the only criticism I have is the paper straws with the slushies. They don't work at all. You need the straws with the spades on the end of them for slushies. Other than that, I'll definitely be back.

Such a pleasant experience. Staff were so nice. They were flat out busy! They almost ran out of food due to the festive going on in the town but with a smile on their face they took my order and served me the tastiest chicken nuggets and chips. Thank you girls, I really hope you do get some sort of bonus for all your hard work tonight. We enjoyed our food watching the boats and chatting about how friendly you both were. Even when the delivery guy was giving you a hard time.

Food was 10/10 and two ladies working were so friendly and welcoming

If there was 10 stars available I'll give it 10 stars. The food and the staff are always brilliant and the menu is great and a big variety for when I feel like trying something different 🙂 Good job Mr Chippy, best chicken boxes in the town 😉👌

Ordered from here 3 times 2 of the 3 the food has been cold and on all 3 occasions my order has been wrong.. I hate complaining but should get what I pay for

Waited over an hour for the food, wasn't even the right order, forgot parts of our order. The food that we did receive wasn't even good. Chips are cold and not fully cooked. Never again

The fish and chips are unbelievable. Don't normally eat fish from a chip shop because they are normally so greasy. But Mr Chippy's is the exception! Buy them you won't be disappointed......

I had the large munchie box and it was really nice and filling, it was bought for 2 people but it would have been plenty for 3.

Ordered though i want fed took the money waited and waited.till i rang over and was told they were busy and didnt accept the order.which left it was to late to order any where else. Maybe bit more info when they stop orderin and the staff would be better if they could cope bit more.was so mad

Built my own burger and ordered the share box which is like getting a mini fish, sausage and chicken supper all in one with onion rings. Food was excellent, piping hot and not greasy at all. Will definitely be ordering from Mr Chippy again.
