I'm a little reluctant to write this review. We live very close by and there is nothing better than an impromptu visit to Trinca. Last night we popped in. Sat in the window, The food was amazing.. my wife and I shared and amazing mushroom risotto, Prawn and courgette pasta then Pork shoulder with Pineapple. Only two people work there, the amazingly talented chef and the lovely front of house lady. I can't recommend it enough.. however please don't go there when I intend to pop in :)

This is an absolutely fantastic restaurant! It is tiny with space for around 10 diners. However, the food was probably the best I have had for as long as I can remember. The menu is quite small, but it is one of those restaurants where it doesn't matter what you order as the standard is so high. It is worth travelling a long way to visit but don't forget to book ahead!

Lovely atmosphere, the food and wine were delicious. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I contacted the restaurant beforehand as I am gluten free, they replied quickly and were able to confirm GF options. I have recommended Trinca to friends and family who love their wine and Italian food.

We’ve been here several times, after having been frequent visitors to The Roasting coffee shop next door. The food here is absolutely scrumptious - it is freshly cooked and each dish is simply exquisite. The team here are lovely and always very accommodating. Check it out!

I visited Trinca with some friends, its a classy wine and food bar with outstanding decor and, most importantly, the food was exceptional: fresh carefully selected ingredients which are cooked for you! (suffice to say quite a rarerity nowadays). The service was second to none, meals were delicious, atmosphere was warm and inviting, the place is cozy so if you are looking for a dining experience,myself and my friends would highly recommend it!

Tiny restaurant which we knew. Stools were really uncomfortable - backs would be useful? Tiny menu, so when told we had to wait 20 minutes for the risotto we were happy as we thought it would be freshly cooked. Asked if we could perhaps have some olives while we waited; the best they could offer was bread and olive oil. 20 minutes later a disappointing plate arrived - hot and cold in spots. We had to ask for salt and pepper - which took a while so 4 minutes later I got my pasta. I would have hoped for fresh when you have a menu with only 5 items on the menu? All in all a very disappointing experience.

A fabulous, tiny restaurant in Surbiton. Just 8/10 seats, so you need to book. This was our second visit and the food was amazing, again. The pea risotto was just delicious, and the sea bream was so beautifully cooked. The menu changes every week. The wine list is extensive and esoteric. Just 2 members of staff, both lovely, very friendly. Absolutely recommended.

I have visited this Restuarant several time over the last months. Always a very special experience, the owner-chef now has a new chef and a matradie, Between the two of them they look after you and it’s always a special feeling of giving you their all in individual attendance. The food is amazing, (Italian home cooking at its best) you feel that the chef is their just for you, each week the menu changes to a specific region of Italy-Sardinia. Depending on the chefs choice. The food is locally sourced with fresh ingredients, Their wine is extensive and of great taste. (Special liqueurs made by the owner-chef) This venue is special for that’s just popped in for a beer- wine to a very special occasion, Bearing in mind the venue is small, so don’t venture mob handed. Unless booked! It’s Sited on the main road, just just behind a bus stop. (don’t miss it) Booking may be advised, ask for the bar seats, makes you feel at home.

Estefanía is front of house and Lorenzo is the chef and they are fabulous; the owner is very lucky to have such a wonderful couple running his restaurant. The food is superb, Michelin star quality, and it feels like you are far removed from the hustle and bustle outside. The choice of aperitifs, wine and liquer is good and it was great to try some gin and after dinner drinks that we had not tasted before. The menu changes every week and is always a twist on the norm so it really is an experience; there are generally around five options and you share say three between you but save room for the delicious desserts. Great for couples of for a friends' get together, just be sure to book.

This small interment restaurant has only been open for a few month now, i have eaten in there several time as well as enjoyed a late afternoon aperitif, The staff (Two Of) are most welcoming, the experience, its like being in your own kitchen diner; The Italian food served is fresh as it gets, by very passionate chefs, that if asked will explain the menu, (a very small menu,) this restaurant is a little part of Italy-Sardinia set in Surbiton; the wine selection is visibly vast and excellent; House wine choices great; thoroughly recommend this petite restaurant for that special occasion; cocktail in the afternoon, seating inside small, if it's not raining there's seating for four outside. as long as its not raining; but booking is a good idea; ENJOY;
