Trigger Pond in Warrington

Me and my boyfriend just been here was lovely and clean very friendly and welcoming staff, food was delicious and served hot we was served by emma who is lovely highly reccomend this place and we will come again 🫶🏽

We booked a table for 4 for 19:30 so that my wife and I could meet and get to know our daughter's new partner over dinner. We had no idea that our dinner would coincide with a quiz night. When the quizmaster was speaking it was sufficiently loud that it was hard to hear each other speak and then when he stopped we found that the sudden drop in the PA system left us speaking too loudly. If it hadn't have been for the above and but for the fact that the the pub has also asked me to share on Google, I would have left it there but since I was asked to comment, the food was pretty poor too. We won't be back

The food service was quick and everything was to a high standard friendly staff and reasonable priced food will be going again

We visited there today for the first time today to have a celebratery meal for my wife's 60th birthday. There was a warm and friendly atmosphere there, and plenty of other people there enjoying their meals. The staff are really friendly and helpful .There is a good variety of meals on the menu to choose from. All my family enjoyed the meals they chose, and they were cooked to perfection. What used to be a nice family friendly pub with a great atmosphere has been replaced by noisy "bands" blurting out cover songs and half of the seating has been removed and turned into a darts bar... food was above average for a pub but worth going on a nice day so you can sit outside for some peace and quiet by the road.

Staff were lovely and food was nice and it was for a group of 16 for a 40th staff were so caring throughout the night

Celebrated my godsons 1st birthday at gullivers world & decided to eat out. Rang here 5 min away and they managed for fit 9 of us in for food. All of us were very happy with the food and the service. We have stopped here a handful of times after ikea trips and it’s been such a warm atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

Family of 7, we had tea tonight. Really nice friendly atmosphere. The staff were very good. Emma in particular. Her customer service was top drawer. Couldn’t do enough for us. Overall the food was good pub standard. Last time I came in here was 2 years ago and it has improved a lot since our last visit. Definitely be back. Thanks for your hospitality 👍

Sadly the waiting to time get our main course and also dessert was unexpectedly very long. We have been several times and understand the meals are freshly cooked and expect and accept waiting of 15 -20 minutes. However today (30 May lunchtime) it was overlong. We arrived at 12 noon and were told that many tables were reserved, so this wasn't an issue. . The problem was that there was only one barman and one waitress. In my opinion , given the number of reserved table the manager must have been aware that staffing levels would have to meet the increased demand. The 2 staff on duty were very understanding and we felt sorry they were put under such unnecessary pressure. We finally left at approximately 14.0 hours!

Had a wonderful afternoon and were treated absolutely like VIPs. We took my husbands dad out for lunch for his 95th birthday today. The team you had today in the Trigger Pond were absolutely wonderful in particular Sharon, for whom NOTHING was too much trouble. That lady has the patience of a saint, I love nachos and usually order a sharer for me and my hubby, they aren't on the Sunday menu, "that's OK" says Sharon "I will see what I can do". Sure enough I could have nachos to start. Then in a fluster I realised I had forgotten to order dad's fish and chips and a side order for my son! She sorted the whole thing out without batting an eyelid, and we all got our meals together. Everything was perfect and we all enjoyed our lunch, particularly Dad who isn't a big eater but, demolished an enormous fish and chips! He ate all bar two chips! To top it all, Roxy, was our waitress and a very attentive one at that! My son asked for cream for his fudge cake, which isnt an option, so she offered the canned squirty cream instead. Roxy and Sharon then brought out a slice of cake with a candle in it for Dad, he was absolutely made up! Shout out to the people in the back too who made it all happen. We will be with you again very soon and highly recommend the food here. Customer service at its best! Thank you all.

Wow.... Greated at the door with a smile. Shown straight to our seats .. opened a tab and had a beer in our hands all within 4 minutes. Food selection was good.. just good pub grub. Looking forward to the next time we eat here.

We were greeted very warmly by the manager and made to feel welcome. The food, as always, was very good and the service, although they appeared to be short staffed, was still good. The restaurant is always clean and inviting and the staff are friendly. We chose The Trigger Pond to celebrate our wedding anniversary as we know we will enjoy the meal and our surroundings. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes good food in a pleasant atmosphere.

I live round the corner here and come from time to time. The supervisor had a bad attitude today about the lunch menu and humiliated a staff member in front of me for absolutely no reason (something he could have resolved with ease but wanted to "lay down the rules" to the poor lady) and then was snarky with me too about his rules. Except I don't work for him, so don't have to put up with it - ended up walking out even though we planned to order more. Supervisors need to treat both staff and customers alike with respect if they want to keep the tills ringing.

A great local pub, staff are great and friendly, you can have a nice relaxing drink and take your four legged friend along too 👍 and the dog helps you get home in 1 piece 😂

Always come here on a Wednesday for food and drinks. Great atmosphere. Even though it can be extremely busy at times, we always manage to find a table. Staff are lovely, especially Aimee..she is always smiling, polite and takes time to talk to everyone. She is a credit to The Butcher’s Arms.

Really liked it, not been in For years - since my wife died. We ordered off the lunchtime special menu at 1pm. Went to pay at 3 to find the reductions finished at 3pm and out bill was full price (30£ more) The manager did refund it when I questioned it and after a complex till assault the money was refunded. When ordering BE AWARE of that that timing on the smaller meals section.

We've been coming regularly to quiz night for a couple of years and have noticed a big improvement in the last month since the new manager has arrived. Food is good value and service is pleasant and efficient.

Excellent Sunday dinner with the family! The beef was incredible and the veg and roasts were gorgeous. All of the team were super welcoming .. finished of with a rocky road sundae and coffee which was a great way to end our meal.

Dined out as a table of 7, Ordered the chicken burger, chips came cold burger burnt cheese was no longer cheese, advised the server and he offered to got me a fresh one, waited another 15-20 minutes and my meal came out worse the second time, even more burnt, i took over to who I believe was manager and he offered me another which I declined, no apology, staff had a face on her when came to give me my money back, not the experience which will guarantee my return, very disappointing!
