Trieste Pizza Wimbledon in Wandsworth

We are regular visitors to Trieste and the pizzas are always first class. The ingredients are fresh and good quality. The mini-pizzas (pizzettes) mean that you can try different pizzas which are smaller. The burrata salad is also refreshing and full of flavour. The service is always friendly, personal and efficient. It is very well located near Southfields Underground station, which is the station you would use for the Wimbledon Tennis Museum. Furthermore the prices are reasonable. I would recommend having pizza or lasagna here.

Full english breakfast took 30 minutes as did the coffees. When it finally came the plate was cold. Young waiter tried his best but to be honest this place just wasn't great

This is the best pizza around. Beautifully balanced, burrata options, salad and warm, friendly service. This is our fave place. 10/10 all round!

L'endroit parfait pour manger de très bonnes pizzas: ingrédients bio importés d'Italie, la pâte est top (certains l'aimeront plus cuite in faut demander). Accueil très sympa par des italiens fans de tennis. Pizzas un peu petites en taille pour le prix, mais on mange bien et on s'y sent bien alors ça vaut 5!

La vera pizza italiana a Londra. Locale situato all’uscita metro di Southfields. Ingredienti freschi e genuini, pizza croccante e buonissima. Possibilità di scegliere anche altri piatti oltre alla pizza. Noi abbiamo provato la burrata accompagnata con una focaccia calda. Proprietario e personale professionale e gentilissimo!

Disappointing, overpriced and unimaginative menu. Salad of what looked like mixed leaves from supermarket bag with scattering of halved cherry tomatoes and supermarket diced feta cheese without dressing overpriced at £10.00 - decided to decline and headed off instead to excellent well-established local Italian restaurant for some proper restaurant quality food. Suggest avoiding Trieste. Shame to see what used to be an interesting and authentic little addition to Southfields eateries failing to make the grade!

Called in for Sunday evening meal, were shown to a table outside (under cover). Staff were friendly and helpful. Ordered vegetarian calzone and a Delio pizza with green salad, food came quickly, clearly freshly prepared, pizza and calzone were delicious. We followed this with tiramisu and coffee, again both delicious. Be aware that a 12.5% service charge is automatically added to your bill, irrespective of party size. They also do small pizza (6”) and for a taster of the pizzas on offer these are ideal and not too expensive compared to full size pizzas.

The restaurant was fairly quiet when six of us arrived for Saturday lunchtime. Tables in the heated outdoor area were quickly put together to create sitting for the six of us. The restaurant provides a good range of pizzas at two sizes, the 6-inch being good for the younger children and the 12-inch a good size, leaving no room for dessert. Good friendly service and an ejoyable lunch while we warched the world outside pass by.

We are regulars at Trieste because we love the casual relaxed dining and friendly service. The menu is is not massive and is quite simple but in this case I would say less is more because everything we have had has been very tasty. The main stay of the menu is pizza but there are also salads and a couple of Mains. We particularly enjoy there choice of Italian wines at great prices for a good sized glass. For us Trieste is the best restaurant in Southfields. Oh and a quick mention for the staff no matter who is serving it’s always friendly and attentive.

It was a pleasure to explore the authentic gems of Italian cuisine in this restaurant. I'm a huge fan of pizza and I've tried it in different restaurants back in my hometown, Beirut. However, I was delighted to discover the most deliciously Italian ones at Trieste Pizza Wimbledon in London! There is a wide variety of pizzas for you to choose from - all with an extremely good dough of course. In case you are visiting with a group of friends and/or family, I recommend you share different pizzas, including the mini ones so you could get an idea of different tastes. I particularly loved the simple Pizza Marguerita, with its mouthwatering cheese and tomato sauce. Hats off to the lovely team and thank you for satisfying our Italian cravings outside of Italy! :)

Siamo stati a visitare il museo di Wimbledon e abbiamo notato questa pizzeria dal nome italiano. Abbiamo ordinato delle pizze e per nostra sorpresa il pizzaiolo era un pugliese ( Michele ) come noi. Non so se si impegnato in modo particolare per noi ma la pizza era buonissima, ricca di condimenti e leggero l' impasto. Di solito lascio sempre la crosta ma questa volta l'ho mangiata tutta perché era veramente soffice. rimasti molto soddisfatti abbiamo deciso di ritornare il giorno dopo ma è stata una delusione totale. Il pizzaiolo del giorno prima non era di turno, la pizza bruciata e il servizio scarso. Consiglio il proprietario di avere un personale tutto allo stesso livello.

Locale accogliente e pizza buonissima, ci sono stati dei problemi nell’ordinazione ma grazie al Signor Michele abbiamo risolto. Persona deliziosa è molto professionale Unica cosa negativa il cattivo odore che emanano i ragazzi quando ti servono la pizza. Non voglio immaginare in estate 🤮

A friend and I met in Southfields for lunch. I had wanted to try Trieste, opposite the station and as they had outdoor seating, that’s where we went. Most of their menu is pizzas and pizzettas (about one third of the standard size) but as it was very hot, we wanted something cold, so we settled on a cold meat platter and a burrata (the creamy ‘king’ of mozzarella ) and grilled vegetables platter, with plenty of home-baked bread and a glass of white wine. The food was beautifully presented and was quite delicious. The meats were subtle but distinctive and the burrata was wonderfully fresh and creamy. The vegetables were perfect in terms of both texture and flavour. It was a lovely surprise to find something that good at a local restaurant. The service was excellent and the bill: £20 per head including coffee and service was very reasonable. I’m looking forward to a return visit.

Located almost opposite the Southfields Underground Station with great seating inside and outside, as well as offering a takeaway service. Being a very warm evening we enjoyed the food whilst sitting on the terrace. Pizza is not the only choice and there is a selection of dishes for all tastes. They are also happy to change the standard dish to suit your choice. We were spoilt by the food and the service. Well done and thank you!

Once again visited this great little place located opposite Southfields Station. Again received super friendly service & great pizza. None of the chain rubbish, just good quality, tasty Italian pizza.

Trieste Pizza serves the best organic and authentic pizza in London. As a local, I have tried many pizzerias in London and around Southfields area and I can highly recommend Trieste. Pizzas are delicious with a unique taste. There are also le pizzette (small pizzas) to share or for children. I also go there sometimes for aperitivo after work for some Italian charcuterie and few drinks :) the staff is Italian and very welcoming and friendly. A true Italian experience! I just love it :)

In the last year or so, when in south London, we've headed for this small, delightful pizza 'bistro' in Southfields, SW18 (opposite the tube station). Charming, friendly staff serving great quality coffee, cakes, small and large pizzas and other Italian foods. Inevitably, there's a lot of local competition around Wimbledon Park Road – Franco Manca, Neros, Starbucks, independents etc. Probably, their USP is the light, thin base for pizzete and pizza. Very moreish and unlike any other pizza base we've ever had before with its organic, high quality ingredients and lovely flavours. The local manager said that Trieste has several sites – Madrid, Rome, Pescara (Abruzzo, northern Italy) and now expanded, fortunately, into Southfields. Don’t think you would be disappointed.

These guys are very unassuming, they blend in to the takeaway next door and are easy to miss. Having tried the chain up the road we gave them a try and am so glad we did. The food is beautiful and the service is great....

Our first experience was simply outstanding! The pizza dough is absolutely amazing, cooked perfectly! I strongly suggest the patate and salsiccia or 4 cheeses, this is the real Italian pizza. The tiramisù is something to die for! We will definitely go back again! Well done!
