1st class!! I’ve eaten around the world. Chefs scallops are off the scale!! Also medium rare steak 5star!! Thankyou all. Once more!!

We came here for a birthday meal and had such a fantastic time. The food was so delicious from the moment we sat down and were offered a beautiful board of nibbles. The menu was diverse offering lots of options, including loads of fresh sea food. Yay! Will deffo be back

Poor food over priced food. I chose to dine here with my brother and his family to celebrate his anniversary after reading all the reviews. How has this place go so many 5 star reviews I have no idea??? Service was pretty good that’s about it.

We visited Tremfan Hall for Sunday lunch. The welcome was good and our orders were taken promptly. The meal was a disappointment for the price paid. We have had better meals for not much more than half the price. The meat and vegetables were good but the roast potatoes were hard and the Yorkshire pudding was soft. The gravy may suit some but for us it tasted of wine and little else. We finished our first drinks and in more than half an hour we were not offered another. We are unlikely to return.

We attended on Halloween The Hall was decorated And the staff were in costume and character ! We had an amazing plant based meal some of the top plant based restaurants in the country don’t offer Plant based food as good as this - well done our friends had steak and fish which was amazing! Wow the most inspiring dishes we’ve all had in a very long time ! We are still taking about it We are booked in for Christmas Eve we will be back before then for sure Really well done you have got it all just right

A stunning location, near perfect ambience with a real coal fire and quite simply exquisite food. The starter transported me back to Connemara with a Haddock/prawn starter that set the tone beautifully. The Roast Beef was a sensational experience which exceeded all expectations. The service was exceptional with an opportunity to finalise our preffered red with a comparison. My advice is to avoid this restaurant at your peril, we will be returning and as soon as possible.

Wow, I mean what a Sunday lunch, had one of my best experience on a Sunday ever. From the smooth chicken liver pâté to the outstanding piece of pork, charcoaled and so tender, we had a fantastic day out, not mentioning the gorgeous view of the mountains and sea, will definitely come back Special mention to the lady manager, very professional

Wow! The food is superb - we pre-booked for NYD lunch and it was a relaxed and welcoming ambience. And then the food……. exceptional starters and then lamb and seafood platter. We have been to Tremfan before but it just gets better and better. Look forward to coming more frequently in 2024 and enjoying the grounds and views in Summer.

Birthday meal for my wife. Nice reception and cozy ambience on a dark wet night. Serving staff friendly and helpful. Pre dinner nibbles were tasty. Food was well prepared from good produce and wholesome. Old Smoky and Pork Belly to start, filet beef and lamb for mains …the red wine and bone marrow sauce was flavoursome. No fuss, no nonsense good enjoyable food.

This was our third visit to Tremfan Hall Restaurant for Sunday Lunch and we were not disappointed. The views are spectacular on the Terrace where we ate our lunch because we had a dog with us. The food was sublime and the service was very attentive and such good value for high end fare. The attention to detail was clearly a labour of love by the chef who was at the top of his game. Just had our first visit to Tremfan Hall and wow, just wow wow wow. Cannot fault anything. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome and the food was just amazing. A brilliant evening at Tremfan Hall restaurant 9 years after we last visited and the experience was exemplary. Very welcoming staff and the ambience was lovely in a beautiful setting. Excellent pre dinner amuse bouches and really excellent food, all locally sourced where possible. Excellent starters of feta and avocado salad, chicken liver parfait, and mackerel fillet nicoise and then the lamb rump, sea bass and rib eye steak as main courses - all excellent. Imaginative and fresh deserts were also ace. Plus a good wine list to boot. The menu is a fixed price table d’hote menu which means there is no rush to be finished for the next service, the table is yours for the evening. It was great to chat to the co-owner about plans for the B&B accomodation attached to the restaurant which already has great reviews. We’d definitely be back to eat here and also would be interested to stay in the B&B. Highly recommended. A local gem!

We had high expectations as Tremfan's 'to go' meals were sublime, and my parents - and grandparents - before me waxed lyrical. We were NOT disappointed. Everything was perfect, service, food, wine, and ambience.

We recently had a small family dinner to celebrate our Golden Wedding in the Trenfam private dining room. The whole event was simply superb from the fantastic food to the way that Sandra and her team looked after us. We had full choice of the current menu on a pre-order basis. The private dining room is lovely looking out over the gardens and the bay. In the event that you are not local worry not because Trenfam has some very nice accommodation which we used last year. So if you are looking for somewhere for a small private event you have found it. Enjoy it – we did and so did our family.

From the minute we arrived Tremfan was pure class. The view, the furnishings in the apartment, the hosts, the food - all absolutely stunning. Every detail in the beautiful and luxurious apartment was thought out. From coat racks above radiators to the pretty soap and toiletries, quality bed linen on comfortable beds, and towels so thick and heavy I could hardly lift them! Everything was so comfortable and the decking area was spectacular. The views were just amazing. The food in the restaurant is a testament to Head Chef Nigel Skinner’s skill. Local produce, beautifully cooked and presented at very reasonable prices. The restaurant was buzzing and full on the Sunday - what better reviews do you need than that. I recommend the Old Smokey as a starter - gorgeous smoked haddock and prawns and cheese baked in a pot - I miss it already! Sandra was an amazing hostess - kind and friendly with lots of tips about where to go. Nothing was too much trouble. This is our second time at Tremfan B&B and, although we loved our room last time, the apartment was perfect for a longer get away, with our own space and kitchen - although we didn’t really cook much with the hotel food that was on offer and too good to resist. The local beach was just a 15 minute stroll and was stunning. Cricceth Castle was a pretty afternoon out and there is so much to see and do along that coast that we will be back for sure.

We loved this restaurant, in particular we loved the relaxed pace. When we arrived we were invited to sit outside to have a drink and enjoy the scenery before moving into the restaurant to order our food. We can honestly say this is one of the best meals we have ever had. The service was excellent- at no point did we feel rushed. The whole evening was a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend this for couples as it was so romantic. Thank you Tremfan Hall we will be back!

My Fiance booked the meal, upon doing so I called on the morning and asked if they could supply and cook a lobster, as it was my 50th birthday and wanted to splash out. The lady I spoke with went out of her way and tried her best to go above and beyond, but because of such short notice could not do. Later after booking in with such a warm friendly start from all the staff, the manager came over and told me that I could have something from the main menu off the evening. So again very attentive and the food was delicious 😋. Thanks again you made my birthday extra special.

We had a tea time Sunday lunch. The food was exceptional, we had Welsh Lamb but starters and deserts were also way above anything else we had in the area (fine dining without pretention). The service was efficient and friendly, also way better than we experienced in a number of establishments we tried in Abersoch - those that bothered to accommodate us (Zinc were" full" with what appeared to be more staff than diners).
