Made very welcome including the dog who had a couple of treats. Food was lovely. I had the special of chicken & chorizo casserole with chips which was very tasty. Husband had BLT which was nice other than the lettuce ended up warm/soggy. Took away brownies which we enjoyed later. Would call again when next in the area.

I used to live in the village and was thrilled when the cafe opened. Now about 15 years on I really think they should invest in better ventilation. The menu is 50% deep fried and 50% coffee n cakes. I found the fat fumes super overpowering and sat outside. Surely I am not the only one who feels this way? What happens in the winter? The coffee and cakes were excellent by the way

Conveniently situated near the Trefnant traffic lights, this small cafe has changed ownership since my last visit. Highlights are the home made light eats options served by a most pleasant team of servers. We each chose a seasonal turkey bap served hot with stuffing and trimmings, a tasty treat. The latte was well prepared. Seating is basic with a choice of sitting at the few tables or sit on one of the well worn small armchairs or sofa by a flame heater. Comfort is driven by food and drinks and not the furniture. A selection of hanging wall art is on display for sale.

We had a lovely lunch at Crossroads Cafe. The toasted paninis were excellent, all served with a smile. The staff were very friendly and it is a great location to have a stopover-in our case,on the way to Altrincham. Well done and keep it up! We will certainly drop by next time we are in the area.

Popped in this morning, whilst my wife checked out the cakes, I spotted the specials board; smashed avocado, spinach and poached eggs on toast with side salad. Sounded far too good to pass by. When it came, I was far from disappointed! The poached eggs were done to absolute perfection. It takes a great cook to poach eggs like that; whites cooked with yummy runny yolks. My wife had almond and cherry cake, it looked like a frangipan mix, which she said was gorgeous. I washed mine down with an Americana , my wife had a pot of tea that easily had 3 cups. All for £10:65. As Arnold Swatzenger famously said, we’ll be back!

On Valentine's Day, collected a take-away tea from Crossroads which was absolutely perfect. A good selection of sandwiches, sausage rolls, things on cocktail-sticks, cocktail sausages, quiches etc and the most lovely selection of cakes. Very good value too. Could not have been better!

Called in while I had stopped to use the electric vehicle charging point around the side of the building. Tried their iced coffee on this scorching day. Sat inside on their comfy chairs with my iced coffee and Lemon & Lime sponge cake, excellent choice.

Really local and friendly café located in the village's historic hall (used to be a WW1 army building on the Kinmel Camp). We arrived just as the waitress/owner disappeared to pick up her daughter from school. This wasn't a problem though as we were happy to wait. Sampled some awesome homemade cake and a quality cup of coffee. Friendly pit stop if you are passing through this lovely little village.

Called and booked a table and informed over the phone we would have a dog with us, person who took our booking was very pleasant, asking what time we wanted to book so that they could ensure we were seated as far away as possible from other tables who were also bringing their dogs. Very friendly welcome from Emma, who looked after us as soon as we walked through the door. Due to a change of chef, there was a slightly limited menu, until new one is released for next season, but when asked for an adjustment to a listed item, they were more than happy to oblige. The food was tasty and the portions were generous. The Bass cask ale was clear as a bell, tasted great and held it's head all the way down the glass. Music was great, not sure if there was a jukebox or piped in but a pleasant change to the usual options of chart 'bangers' or generic muzak. After a previous disappointing meal in a larger venue earlier in the week, this visit was a delight and would be more than happy to come back next time we are in the area.

Went to the Saturday supper club and was not disappointed. Gavin was an excellent host and didn't cancel our booking, despite us being the only ones there! Amazing food and value for money, definitely worth it!
