Treasure Island in Swansea

Visited here lastnight. Has to be THE worst Chinese I have ever eaten. Dark chicken meat in the curry and the worst Cantonese chicken I have ever had. I must say though the egg fried rice and chow mein were edible. Best part the pompadoms!!

Excellant as usual. Staff polite, chatty and efficient. Will always use Treasure Island in the Gorseinon area.

We ordered a takeaway last minute decision and we were right to do so. Our daughter and her boyfriend are new to the area and have recently moved in. My husband was busy doing some diy so we treated ourselves to a delicious takeaway. We asked for it to be delivered and it arrived promptly within 15 minutes of ordering. The sweet and sour pork and vegetable chow mein was outstanding. Will definitely be ordering again and trying other things. Thank you

Delicious food as always so glad they now deliver definitely be ordering more now. Never had a bad meal from Treasure Island always fantastic

We use this Chinese at least once a week, the food is very tasty and the crispy beef especially is fantastic

First visit to Treasure Island, and definitely won’t be the last. Food was lovely and piping hot. Staff are friendly, and food was cooked reasonably quick.

A takeaway for the family which included chow mien crispy beef and lemon chicken. Nothing was fresh, the lemon chicken in particular was tough and I won’t be coming back again.

First Chinese from Treasure Island and will most definitely be our last! Ordered Beef satay only when we got home to enjoy our meal the beef was jelly like and pink! Not a cooked slice in the carton! Phoned to complain only to be told that ‘it’s the way we cook it here, you should have asked if you wanted it cooked more’ - how on earth were we expected to know they serve uncooked meat!!! Maybe We better check next time when ordering food if it will be cooked for us before it’s served! We requested a refund or to be provided with a new cooked meal - both were refused! Unhelpful staff, only order here if you want to play roulette with your meat and meal!

Lovely chow main with honey chicken and prawn toast! Staff were chatty and excited for Christmas. Really enjoyed our food the only thing is they don’t deliver! Luckily it’s close enough to collect. Shame though! Shall still visit here in the new year!

Food was fab as normal always piping hot . Always order my food from here. Staff are very friendly and will help you with any dish you are unsure of. Just a Pity they don’t deliver they would get a lot more orders if they did.

We've been going here for at least 20 years and having tried plenty of others across Swansea, this is in my opinion the best. Very reasonable price wise and never takes long once ordered, unless it's peak time on a Saturday night. This place is our reward every 2 weeks or so after a hard weeks work :)

This has been our regular for years and even after moving from our local area we still travel here to order our Chinese takeaway. We have never had a bad meal in all the years we have been a customer here. You will never please every palette but I'd like to think our palettes are slightly more refined and know good food when we taste it. You won't find anywhere better in the local area in our opinion. Always piping hot and very fresh, the food tastes absolutely beautiful and I don't understand how people find a reason to complain. I have recommended Treasure Island to all My friends and family as it is very consistently good. Make sure to take cash out before you collect as they don't have a card machine. The lady on the desk is always very friendly And likes to chat. Wouldn't look any further than this lovely hidden treasure.

The crispy chicken looked like it had been hacked by a dog, it was full of black bits. Flimsy packaging aswell by the time i got the food home the curry sauce had gone everywhere. I wont be visiting again. Im not surprised the place was empty.

We use this takeaway occasionally but find that the food can be inconsistent in quality and heat. If you go early there is a chance you get warmed up food.

Comida era gusto promedio era agradable pero Chow Mein era sencillo no como que he tenido en otras tiendas de comida para llevar pero algunas personas pueden discrepar así que probarlo tú mismo pero no nos impresionó.

Hemos venido aquí durante años, la comida es de primera categoría, el único inconveniente es que no entrega., así que es un viaje 5 millas durante todo el año, para nosotros.

The best Chinese in Swansea with out a doubt. The down side is that they don't deliver so its a little inconvenient. Having said that its worth the drive down, the quality is exceptional.

I have lived in penyrheol and surrounding areas all my life. I have never in the last 15 years had a bad meal. Excellent food and the staff are always polite. Please keep up the good work.

Treasure Island is a Chinese takeaway in Gorseinon. I have been going here for years and never had a bad meal. The meat is always tasty and cooked properly. They don't offer a delivery service which is a downside, however, lets face it, the food is always fresher when you get it yourself. Very busy on Saturdays and even when ordering over the phone for collection, you may still have to wait about 10 minutes, sometimes longer on arrival. It is worth the wait in my opinion. I recommend the Chow Mein, and Chicken Curry.
