Treasure Inn in Northampton

First time getting food the chicken was bland and chewy. Second time went there for my partner and they forgot a item. Wouldn't recommend

All right. Nothing special but fish n chips was OK and reasonably priced.

They are brilliant. They know my order and always join in when my Mrs is bantering me.

One of the better chinese stir fries I've had in a while.

Staff were so extremely rude, ignored us while on their phones and ordering our food seemed like an inconvenience. Won’t come back. We then wanted to buy some cans after ordering the food and it seemed like we were talking in foreign language as we were just ignored!

The food wasn't that bad if you ordered a curry dish you had more onions that the product Ie chicken or beef but over all acceptable and not that bad price wise..I've had worse ..could do with a bit of a clean up in reception area as the floor is minging proper dirty ..other than that I'd say 6 out of 10 would be a fair score plus you don't get food poisoning 👍👍👍😁😁😁

Food was nice and didn't take too long, was a fair price and place seemed clean.

Ordered haddock. Received cod. Extremely greasy, to such an extent it made me feel sick. Would avoid like the plague in future.

Although I don't visit here often, I everytime I do it's a treat. Staff are extremely friendly as I know them personally. Portion sizes are great and very consistent. Only problem is the cheesy chips, they don't really melt on the chips and you can't only get one portion size.

We ordered takeaway for the first time tonight, we really were not sure after reading the some of the reviews, but our Chinese was so tasty, would recommend, priced very fairly, we will definitely be using again...

The two new serving staff there don't seem to care. My fish and chips vary in quality week by week, but last week they assured me the fish was only cooked five minutes before. It was old, stale, not very hot and fibrous, absolutely horrible. The chips were mostly the dreggs, not proper chips and cold. I've tried to phone to complain but it appears the phone number isn't connected, despite checking over and over again. This has happened more thana few times recently. Not happy.

Hubby went there was most shocked as none of the customers were wearing a mask.

Can’t give 0 stars unfortunately. Just ordered a large portion of chip and it was a messily portion! If it was a small portion expected a dozen chips at best. Last time I go here

Sadly there seemed to be some new staff who were struggling, everyone deserves a chance on that front so I won't judge them for that, but it does mean the service doesn't save the fact the pie felt like it had been in the oven since November and the gravy was literally Bistro. Portion sizes were big, but sadly below average at best. We didn't have any Chinese food, so can't comment on that but I'm afraid our nearest chippy which this is, is now off the list. Now to try somewhere else 🤷🏼‍♂️

Just called in for a cone of chips £1.20.. Very nice but not very warm 👎

Not the best Chinese and disappointed spring rolls

A great improvement over the last 6 months. The fish and batter seem to be of better quality. And the same with the chips. Hopefully it will continue. I would now recommend this chippy over many others

Totally disappointed with the food. Asked for chilli chips got chips with chees. Asked for dry spare ribs not even close to what I was thinking.

Worst Chinese restaurant I've ever eaten at. Just got home and every meal tastes like it was cooked at the weekend and sacked in a microwave. Very rubbery and covered in a sauce to hide the smell I guess. Defiantly never again!!!!

Can get very nice chips here but they change staff so much, that portion sizes vary and you wait a while.

I have this every weekend top food

Had to wait 5 mins because they're computer wasn't working then had to wait outside in the cold because there was no room inside to wait. Food was quite mediocre one of the meals we had ordered was crispy Duck and it cooked to a crisp almost burnt.

Service has gone down hill. The chips servings have gone smaller into small paper bags and they still charge £1.50!. Even the Chinese food the servings have gone smaller. £5 for a shredded chicken which only had half the box full? Find another Chinese takeaway!

Best takeaway in Northampton love it and the staff are really friendly

Best fish and chips locally. It's always really nice and never greasy,and the batter is very light and crispy.
