Dreadful experience from Manager!! Where do I start, but awful customer service provided by the male manager (Adrian, I believe but not sure). On the other hand Alex (supervisor) was brilliant with her management and customer services skills in handling our issue. I think the management title has been handed to the incorrect person. First of all, ordered Sangres beer which we was given opened. Upon, holding the bottle they was warm and not cold, so we requested alternative or a compensation. (Adrian, Andre not sure) male manager had the audacity to say and kept repeating “Who’s going to pay for this?”. If a customer isn’t pleased with a item then the management should be comforting in providing an alternative rather than proving a customer that they are wrong and by grapling the bottle with their hand and saying it is cold and not hot. Won’t go in much detail but food was cold too, male manager had awful attitude, seriously surprised how he’s been provided the title compared to the supervisor. P.s we was also provided a goodbye message by manager “ I’m happy, you won’t be returning again” only because we wasn’t pleased and raised our concerns.

I faced a bad experience from Northampton store. I went there for food collection. There is a staff called ‘maden’ ( not sure about spelling ) she didn't give my order and misbehave to me. It's not the first time I faced the same problem. Several times I faced bad experience from there

Had very bad customer service from staff named Maiden. Was behaving very rudely; don’t know whether she had some personal issues. Please do something about her.

A little crammed - though I did go on Saturday at about 5pm - as other Nando’s I have been to seem to have more room. The food, however, was good

We booked for a big table of 15 yesterday and the staff were absolutely fantastic! The kind lady at the till was very accommodating and patient with me when I had a very large order. She helped to bring all the glasses to the table and checked that we were all okay. We accidentally made an erroneous order which they swiftly offered to refund even though it was my fault! I would say this has been my most favourite experience at a Nando’s restaurant so far. The food was fantastic and they served the group at similar times!

Good food good price ,enjoyed my experience

Made a click and collect order for iftar but ordered the worse time, called into the restaurant and spoke with Andreas and he was very understanding. When I came to collect my food everything was ready and no problems what so ever. Very nice guy and worker . Thank you

Ordered and waited over 2hrs fobbed off 8 times told id get refund but still not received. Have used this branch regularly will never return would rather starve. Time before that it turned up burnt and dry. Nothing then but excuses either.

Loved this nandos because the staff were really nice and they actually let us bring a birthday cake in and use it. The food came in a timely manner and they asked if everything was OK and actually stood to wait to see the answer rather than urging to take the stick

Very bad experience last night, I ordered three meals and they bought one meal 10 minutes before they served the full order. My kid was so disappointed and hungry when they gave me my food first and my wife and child had to wait 10 minutes more. The chicken they served was undercooked and the portion of chips and salad was the smallest iv seen at any Nando’s. I complained about the chicken and they give another one which was burned from top and undercooked from the middle. I didn’t even finish my food although I love Nando’s chicken but this was put me off as it was too rubbery and didn’t taste good. Thy didn’t put halumi in the wrap for which we had to tell them to bring separately. The staff have attitude on them. Very disappointed

Had a lovely experience here today for lunch, quick service and very attentive staff. Our host was lovely!

Ordered lunch through the app with some work associate's spent nearly a £100 on food only to receive half the order and then have them refuse to send the rest of our missing food out to us. Not only that but made us go through a refund process that has taken days and we are still yet to receive a refund poor service to start and poor customer service with no intent to amend then poor service

Been to Nando's Northampton for many years, and never been let down. That was until my recent visit. My girlfriends meal came out first, thinking mine wouldn't be that far behind. My girlfriend had in fact finished her meal before mine was served. I ordered chicken thigh's with the hot spice, I did not receive that. I was so hungry and in a rush, I couldn't be bothered to complain at the time.

Top chicken. Chips were abit cold, prob not timed well when bringing out food. Apart from that, no issues.

This is the first time I ever been to restaurant. I've been with my school. I ordered plain chicken wings, a corn on the cob, chips, and vanilla gelato for dessert (with a lot of ketchup). I didn't want spicy food because my stomach isn't obsessed with it. It took a long time to get my meal, but I really enjoyed it. The service was pleasant, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The only thing that was ok was the chicken wings; they were plain, but tasted mediocre. Overall, Nando's is a really great restaurant. You should go!

Good food for a Turkish food lovers

The worst place for delivery drivers. Making them wait outside in the cold for more than 30 minutes for a single delivery of you ask them a question regarding your delivery the workers always rude and telling to cancel if you can’t wait. It’s like they are force to work there

Staff very welcoming, food very tasty, atmosphere cool

They charged me extra tax for a take away which they would not have done if I ordered for collection. When I asked them about it they had no idea why this happens.

Service was slow and orders came out separate for a party of two. But food was good when arrived.

Had a bit of a letdown at Nando’s in Northampton. Went there on a pretty quiet Friday night, but still ended up waiting 30 minutes for my meal, while my partner’s food was out way earlier. Turns out, my order was just sitting on the counter, the whole time! when I mentioned the wait to the waiter, hoping for maybe an apology or something, I got a pretty defensive, almost aggressive response instead. Wasn’t really the chill dinner experience I was hoping for. Just giving a heads-up for anyone planning to drop by - service can be a hit or miss.

I loved the food! So delicious and full of flavour. Love the spice however I have ordered hot and it wasn't as hot as I expected it to be. Service very nice, staff are pleasant and atmosphere great! Location is not best for me but i will definitely be back!

Had A Nice Family Get Together Over Some Really Yummy Chicken And Extras.

Decided to head to the Northampton Nando’s and wasn’t disappointed, Jason the manager made sure our experience was one to remember as his service was fast and welcoming!

Popped in here today as I had a free whole chicken to cluck in. The lady who served us was so friendly and helpful, a real asset to this Nando’s. The chicken was as good as it’s ever been as were the chips and slaw.

Not the fastest of nandos but still tastes good!

Took over an hour for two basic meal and when it arrived my side of broccoli was cold and way under cooked

The food here was utterly disgraceful. Horrible, tasteless, flavourless and very very dry. You need to add some flavour to your chicken. Nando’s is an overpriced and not very good company. Just go to KFC

Food ok. As with most food establishments the withdrawal of table service to reduce costs affects service. Broken door window needs fixing. Not a good first impression.

Avoid this place. The interiors look deceivingly good, but I am willing to bet that they just overtook a much nicer restaurant that used to occupy the premise. The food is subpar, and the "creamy mash" in particular was downright disgusting to the point that just looking at almost made me sick. The chicken was not bad, and I like how you can choose the spiciness. Garlic bread was passable. But overall, a huge disappointment.

Food is amazing but the chip sizes are terrible!

Visited with two old friends who had never been before. We are all in our early 70s, and, whilst not technophobes, much prefer a printed menu to scanning a QR code to open an app to order online, so we ordered at the counter in person. Food was good, if a chicken restaurant couldn't prepare chicken I would be surprised! Love the spicey chips and the choice of heat on the chicken was welcomed by some of our group who prefer milder flavouring. The Portuguese beer was good too. We all agreed that for a mid week lunch it had been a good choice. In our case the bill worked out at about £18 each with a round of drinks and main course, a bit dear but isn't everything today!

Very nice shop Lots of choice of chicken dish. Very tasty. Many different sauces from mild to extra hot. I got the second hottest sauce which was little to not spicy at all but apart from that I didn't like the taste of the sauce. Price-performance ratio is okay, a bit expensive. Hygiene measures were adhered to.

Arrived 21:25, closing time at 22:00. A staff approached me and straight away she said they only have chicken wings and they don’t have anymore bone-in chicken or boneless chicken. Was surprised cos surely they just don’t run out of chicken and I am pretty sure that they stock up as that’s their main dish to serve chicken. I said let’s be clear here I know you still have chicken but they just don’t want to cook anymore. She grinned and agreed to what I was saying. It’s horrible they are lazy to served customer who wasted their time to then be told a very appalling excuse.I am very unhappy with the way they are treating their customers. Why can’t Nando’s Northampton Market Square just be upfront and say sorry it’s nearly closing time now we can’t served you anymore as our kitchen is closed. It is the worst thing ever to be lied and made your customer/s as a dumb person. Hey Nando’s at Northampton Market Square shame on you for making your customers dumb, they’re NOT. You should be given a zero rating for an awful, awful customer service as you have none!!

Wonderfully flavoured chicken and mashed potato. The restaurant itself is very run down and needs a revamp though.

Rude service this does not include all workers. Did not listen and did not want to provide anything as simple as heating a rock solid desert straight out of the fridge and very poor attitude.

I don't know what was wrong with that food but it made us all sick and that's the only food we had on the day fully put me off chicken

Ate here for the first time yesterday. All staff seemed extremely pleasant and the manager was really kind and attentive! Our food was delicious and couldn’t fault it!

A good branch of Nandos. Food was better than usual and the staff were friendly and efficient.

So good after an absolutely shocking time at turtle bay and having to leave before we even got food, Nando’s pulled through by getting us our food within 8 minutes of being seated!

Some cracking staff, but awful food, mostly rubbish service, if you want a chicken burger, go to McDonald's, at least it is likely to be cooked, and you will not have to wait so long for it.

Great service and food. Nice that they do NHS discount too. Food is well made at good prices, but all the flavour comes from the sauce. Not much of a point if you aren't a sauce enjoyer. (Also "Very Hot" isn't as hot it is made out to be, but it is enjoyable to have)

When Nando's get it right, it's brilliant. When they don't, it's awful - this was awful. We had to substitute most of our order (on a Friday night), butterfly chicken was the size of a small pigeon and dry, chicken breast was dry, slaw looked like it had been sitting on the counter for as few days, and the place was generally grubby. We won't be returning to this branch.

I had been a regular and satisfied customer at Nando's Northampton for years. However, during the last three visits, the quality of the chicken served in a pitta has noticeably fallen off immensly. Used to get served fillets of chicken breast in the pitta but in the recent visits it has been merely small pieces of chicken, some of which were hard and chewy and tasteless stuffed in the pitta and with very little sauce. Obviously not breast meat and almost certainly cheaper cuts probably from leg, etc. Evidently a cost cutting measure. Poor experience, more akin to eating food from a roadside kebab van. I am unlikely to be dining there again.

I was waiting for my order about one hour and something. Nobody ask you if you need anything.

Staff helpful to a wheelchair user making sure he could be seated without fuss.

The standards are dropping in this branch guys with a McDonald's feel. Need to raise the standards back to how it used to be when it first opened. The sauces & cutlery need to be kept stocked up, I've been twice in the past 2 months and balsamic vinegar (which i love) is never available (credit to the manager who did find me some out the back) and having straws in stock is a hit or miss. The food was nice (even though an item was missed off my order) and the staff are friendly and polite. Just needs a little tlc here and there and keep up on stock please 🙏

I've been to quite a few Nando's but this one is the worse so far. The service was very slow especially as there were only about 6 people in the restaurant. When we sat down the manager came over and said we could use the QR to order but none of us in our party (4) wanted to use it. Got up to order and he saw me and he walked off into the back so was left standing waiting to order, by this time the restaurant started to get busy. Food took nearly 40 minutes to turn up and we had to keep asking when it was going to be ready. I'm used to better service at Nando's hopefully this branch will improve

We love Nandos restaurant. Nice date night evening out. Had half a chicken, fries and garlic bread. And tried a Portuguese Lager. Great time. Couldn't fault the service at all.

Food was so bad, no taste and quality. I returned my first meal because of it was cold and the bread roll was harded then a Fred Flintstone dinner plate

Plenty of room, can be busy at times especially weekends. Staff always friendly and helpful and we very rarely wait long for food. Toilets on site, great vege options and bottomless soft drink is still an option which is great. All on one level but limited parking outside. Unfortunately recent visit food wasn't hot and rotten veg in pitta. Staff was ok about it and offered a replacement or desert, but at that point I felt sick so didn't want to eat anything further. So do check food and report to staff I'd not up to standard.

food is fuxxing disgusted. chicken haven't any joicy. dry , mush not heat ,cold in the middle. rice dry , Burger bread nearly took tooth off. bottomless yogurt machine not working after took two small cup. not sure these problems only happen at Northampton or other nandos ,anyway ,waste 80pounds, wont go anymore.

Staff are friendly however had to wait 30 minutes from ordering online to get two drinks and a side after prompting them that we had not received them. Later ordered a desert which again took about half an hour to arrive after having to prompt them again. Restaurant was not very busy and many staff were stood around for a while talking together.

Their butterfly chicken, sunset burger was amazing but not spicy enough. I love their bottomless drink....for £3.40 you get to drink as much as you want

Tough chicken,to salty peri peri,kind of expensive idk if there was a bump in prices but really not worth it. Drops half your chips on the floor then just gives it to you anyway doesn't say oh I'll go get you some more. Really bad

I ordered extra hot chicken thighs with sides of peri-salted chips and mash... the first problem was the wrong side, I got garlic bread not mash, I let one of my friends have the bread instead and ate the chicken and chips. The "extra hot" chicken was just regular hot at best, went too cold for me to finish the last one and was mediocre otherwise. The chips were great though (albeit far from the hot I would have expected from peri salted chips) and the refillable drinks were nice. Probably wouldn't come again though

This Nando's is usually busy. Waiting time to be seated about 10 mis & food waiting time was about 20 mins when very busy. Nice warm fresh food and the restaurant is clean but coud be cleaner. Overall friendly staff and smiley ladies on the grill.

Despite accomodating to allergies for the last 2 years plus they have now decided within the last month that they no longer can be bothered to accomodate to allergies for deliveries. Which fine fair enough however, they still accomodate to allergies for customers who eat in?? Please tell me what the difference is, it just doesnt make sense?? We are still paying you for your service and food and we are paying more than the customers who are eating in due to deliveries expensive prices. They have a seperate counter where they normally handle food for people with allergies so its not like they have to go out their way. Its a bit of a joke to be honest, this is just pure laziness and now I can never eat nandos again because of it. Lets hope you don't lose too many delivery orders from this

Wow done had a great evening with the family, jack was a superstar a credit to your team, he really went the extra mile, best service I have every had at a Nando’s, food was spot on, no completes from me, The restaurant was well maintained looked very clean and stylish 5 stars from me for the service thanks jack hope you in joyed the rose 🌹

Basically a standard Nandos, service was great though and the location is nice as it's in the middle of town. Food came out fairly quickly and was hot. Nice decor as always and a new queue system lets you maybe grab a drink before being promoted to return when you table is ready.

Not too great. Chicken is dry and chips aren't freshly cooked to order along wait for a meal. Overly expensive

The manager on at 7.20pm on 8th August 2022 was completely and utterly rude. I won't be a customer of Nandos northampton anymore simply because I refuse to contribute to this man's wages. Honestly, I'd get rid.

Nandos are getting stingy with the chicken, got a wrap and it had just 2 small pieces of chicken in it!

If I was to give a honest review nearly everything was fine for nandos, food was nice, General staff where good, place looked okay (coukd do with an update inside and outside) and was busy, my biggest problem was they where clearly very busy the que was huge you had 1 girl behind the tills trying her hardest to do her up selling being friendly and putting orders through whilst clearly in some sort of physical pain... and then you had what was very clearly a manager & probably an assistant manager and team leader (all dressed smartly and not in nandos uniform which is what gave thier positions away) just stood there between the cooking area, till and seating area just gassing away with each from time to time whilst waiting for my order to be taken you could see them turn around look at the que then sheepishly go back to talking to each... very unprofessional in my opinion didn't see any of these 3 people do anything to help any of thier staff.. even when they are clearly very busy and in discomfort.

The food was okay the service was a bit poor, and my wife found a sharp piece of wood in her rice, we didn't find out until after it had cut her mouth on the inside

Terrible chain of Nando’s! Arrived with a half empty restaurant and waited over an hour for a salad and a wrap. People that came in after were being served first. Ordering via the click and collect clearly get priority which makes the sit in restaurant experience laboured and a bit poor. Won’t be back!
