This is one of our family get together, go to restaurants. The food is always amazing, priced correctly for what you get so good value. The staff are awesome. They make you feel valued and looked after. The chef the night we went this time had a tough night as he was on his own, the other chef just didn't turn up! However, he managed to cook superb food for us all. The combination of excellent food and hospitality makes this a restaurant worth going to. Thank you to the whole team

I was around Croydon to photograph a Halloween event but I got there too early. So I crossed the road and went for dinner and I was very surprised how lovely everything was. Staff, food, prices. The place looks old fashioned but don’t let the look of it fool you, the food is brilliant and the place has a great atmosphere! Thank you for the lovely dinner

Fantastic fresh food of great quality. We ordered a real mix of dishes as not all of us are pasta fans. The vegetables that came with the mains were cooked absolutely spot on which can be hit and miss. The food was hot. I like the fact you can see the kitchen which was spotless. Really friendly staff even as we consumed more and more alcohol! And excellent value for money. We were a party of 9 and absolutely everything was perfect. Great choice of flavoured vodkas and gins and Peroni in bottles Morretti on tap.

Visited the restaurant on a Friday night. We skipped starters and went straight for the main course. One pizza, one pasta and a chicken diavola, there was a choice of seasonal veg or chips with the chicken. It’s such a joy to get something different to chips & peas, what I got was cauliflower cheese, carrots, broccoli & some seasoned roast potatoes - all delicious. Just two puddings cheesecake & tiramisu to finish off the meal. I’d definitely come back again

Tre Fratelli is a new restaurant to us and we finally decided to give it a try. We arrived about 6pm on a Saturday and were greeted and seated quickly, the waitress was friendly and welcoming. We shared a bottle of house white which was very good. For starters we had the whitebait and the Gambas piccante. Both were delicious and the portions very generous, especially the prawns which were absolutely lovely but we may have to share a starter next time! Mains were classic veal milanese for my husband, and I had the swordfish with pizziaola sauce from the special menu. Both of these dishes were exceptional. The veal (which covered the whole plate!) was amazingly tender and tasty and the spaghetti that came with it was a perfect portion and also very good. The swordfish was the standout for me, a chunky portion, lovely and meaty, beautifully cooked and the sauce was delicious. The accompanying saute potatoes were very good indeed and it was lovely to find somewhere that actually cooks its veg - the brocolli and carrots were not at all the hard little bullets that I have suffered elsewhere. We finished with double espressos and a tiramisu to share. The total cost was £73 which I consider to be very reasonable consider the quality and portion sizes. Service is not included so be sure to tip (This may be included for larger parties) Service throughout was attentive and friendly and they seemed genuinely pleased that we were enjoying the food which is always lovely to see. We will definitely be back as there are a lot of dishes on the menu that we want to try and this first visit has given us confidence that everything should be of a very high standard. Would definitely recommend and we will return.

Called in here on rainy Saturday. Had the set lunch menu. Starters of prawn Cocktail and whitebait. Very generous portions and tasty. Main course, calves liver and chicken with mushrooms and white wine. Both very good. Excellent roasted potatoes, brocolli and carrots. Deserts of panna cotta and tiramisu both homemade were delicious. Service was cheerful and efficient. This is a really pleasant place with a wide choice of food and good value for money. Would return for more when In the area.

The tricolore salad came with a dressing which was off the hook, the pasta was made with a super fresh sauce and the Tiramisu dessert was made to perfection. The service, atmosphere and staff were fantastic - good for it 😃

We have been to this restaurant a few times over the last few years. Never have we ever had to complain about anything. We arrived at 6pm so nice and quiet. Quick and friendly service. The portions were very generous. I couldn't eat it all so I asked for the rest to be taken home. I had that warmed up this evening and it still tasted just as nice. We had 3 courses, plus a large glass of wine each and it came to £62. Good value. Couldn't faulter anything. We left at 7.30pm when it was just getting busy. We've been before when it's been busy, but we always take into consideration that they only have a certain amount of staff so there are bound to be delays in areas of service. We will visit again.

Traditional Italian as it should be! What a lovely place! Friendly staff, generous portions of well executed Food, lovely atmosphere and good value for money.... everything an independent Italian should be!

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I enjoyed my experience. The staff were welcoming and provided good customer service. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced -- I'd say on average £12 - £14 for pasta and pizza dishes while meats £15 - £18. Food came in a reasonable time and was presented well. Good portion and flavour, although not the best Italian I've had. The highlight were their desserts. Absolutely delicious! I'd go back just for that. Well prepared and tasty. Nice place in South Croydon! Would return.

We had a lovely meal out for two on Saturday evening, enjoying a bottle of wine, the Gamberoni and the Polpette. Both dishes were not only delicious but they were also large portions making it great value for money! We will be back

Nice restaurant, plenty of space & staff very friendly. Came here with my wife & son for dinner. Pizza was excellent, wife was happy with her dish. Draught beer very good. Staff were very understanding, would highly recommend to others. Best Italian in the area.

Have visited the restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. Always had very good quality food. Restaurant very careful in this period coming out of lockdown to ensure that people eating are kept apart and there is hand sanitizer as you come in to eat.

I love this restaurant. My family and I have been coming here for the past couple of years now and I can honestly say that we have never had a bad meal ever. We are always well received. Fatima is brilliant. My mother is quite disabled due to suffering a stroke ten years ago and she is always made very welcome and accommodated for. The food is excellent. The skate is just fabulous and the portions are very generous. I try not to have the same thing every time, so I have tried many of the dishes on the menu. I have never been disappointed. There is a great selection of wines at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this restaurant.

When we walked in the smell was over powering. A most unpleasant smell. Lemon flowery cleanser. I am asthmatic and it deeply affected me. Restaurants normally smell of food. We had a quick meal and left. I was not impressed. The chef in kitchen wore no chefs hat. Which I believe all chefs are meant to wear. I won’t be going back as the smell even affected my daughter. Who is not asthmatic

We had a really enjoyable meal here on Friday night - we were made really welcome including our 3 month old baby! The food was delicious and the portions are very generous... I will 100% come back, the service was friendly and efficient plus the house wine was very drinkable and reasonably priced.

Being vegetarian, I've got problems with restaurants; this one will try its best to cater for your reuirements. If theres a dish which requires alteration, they'll do it and with a smile!! Well worth a visit.

Have visited Tre Fratelli several times now and have never been disappointed. The skate wing is something not often found on menus, but is always deliciously cooked and really enjoyed. My husbands Chicken Kiev oozed garlic and was very succulent. Our family friends chose pasta dishes and too were impressed. Very lucky to have such a versatile restaurant on our doorstep.

Visited this restaurant on a Tuesday evening - it was quiet but still had a very enjoyable evening.The staff were very attentive and the food was very nice.I didn’t realise until after we had ordered that there was a ‘specials board’ and several of the items appealed to me, but as I had already ordered it was too late. Unfortunately the board was positioned behind me so I hadn’t seen it - another board perhaps more central in the restaurant might be a good idea, or failing that perhaps the presence of the board should be pointed out to customers.We will definitely return to this restaurant.

We were a table of ten friends. We were greeted by staff on arrival, I think it ended there! We were served with drinks, then waited, and waited for our orders to be taken. We were eventually served our meals, The restaurant was busy, but at no time did staff approach us to apologise for the long wait for our Meals. The food was quite good with generous servings. One person had the lamb for main course, which sadly was very tough to eat. Only two sweets ordered and had another long wait. We arrived for 7.30pm and left at 11pm not a good experience!.

One of the fixtures in South Croydon, this restaurant run by Portuguese brothers is Italian food style. We had not been there for some time, though the menu seemed unchanged. But that did not deter on Friday lots of people who knew the place. Helpings are large and we did not have starters. My dish was ravioli stuffed with crab meat. They arrived in a large dish covered by an orange coloured sauce, but tasted ok. I had a semi-freddo which was quite solid but was enjoyable. Service was a bit erratic but friendly enough. Bill including two glasses of water was under £50 - so good value. The bill does not include a service charge, so a tip can be left in cash. VISA but not AMEX cards accepted

This is anfriendly restaurant which serves Italian food. A group of us went and really enjoyed the food. The staff are welcoming and friendly. There is a good variety of food on the menu and specials.

This is one of the best Italians I have been to in a long time. The staff are so warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We have a Friday club which means there can be two to eight of us and the restaurant always tries to accommodate our needs. They have a great set menu Monday to Thursday and your assured of a good time as all the staff are very engaging. Would highly recommend this restaurant! One of the better ones in South Croydon

I have visited on a number of occasions for family birthdays and have never been disappointed. The menu offers something for everyone and they do a lovely mixture of pastas and assorted dishes. I love the minestrone and I followed that with a breast of chicken in a red wine sauce which was delicious. My daughter loves their Lasagne and my wife had meatballs. The staff were very friendly and attentive. For dessert I had a lovely panacotta and the whole evening was spent in pleasant surroundings. The meal for 4 people with drinks was just over the £100 which I think is excellent value due to the quality of food and the attentive and helpful staff. The restaurant has two dining areas and so could be booked for large parties or family occasions. Always a very pleasant experience.

We were on a visit to friends in Croydon for the weekend and managed to book a table here at reletively short notice for the Saturday evening. My husband is a fussy eater and said that on arrival it smelled nicer than a typical Italian restaurant. They had an extensive specials board and we all chose starters from this. The waiter said there would be no problem cooking my husband's scallop and prawn starter in plain butter as all the food was freshly cooked. I had a crab starter which was one of the nicest cold starters I have ever had. The mains and the puddings were lovely and we will definitely visit again.

I visited for lunch with friends and we had a great time here. All the staff were welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was great and look forward to my next visit.

Last night I met my "old" junior school pal for a catch up, not having seen him for nearly a year. We arrived early evening, the restaurant was quiet and we were able to have a chat with the waitress/ manageress who remembered us from the previous occasion. I 'm giving 5 stars for every aspect as this restaurant is clean, service superb, menu range excellent and prices to match. Thank you staff for giving us another really memorable time.

Had a nice meal here with a few friends on a Saturday. It was very busy, (glad we booked a table!) and loud inside. That was more to do with being sat near a table of screaming babies. The time was 9pm, it was way past their bedtime and not the fault of the restaurant itself. Bad parenting!

Since we discovered this little gem, it's been one of our favourites and people we bring here also love it. Great food, great service and reasonably priced, what more do you need?! The staff know us well know :)

Found this restaurant by mistake really on a random walk out with my family and wow we found a gem. From the moment we went in it was superb the food was amazing the staff were wonderful the atmosphere was 10/10. My calamari and steak main ibcam safely say was the best I've ever had. We loved this place and shall be going back again very soon.

Let me be absolutely clear; this is the kind of place you fall in love with. Whether you want to take your partner out for a quiet meal, bring your entire family for a big occasion or show your friends what Croydon can offer, you will be in for a treat. The food is gorgeous and rich in flavours, the staff attentive and hilarious and even if you think you cannot make room for dessert you simply HAVE to try either the chocolate cheesecake or the tiramisu. I promise... they are to die for.

Visited here with my family on a Monday night. Staff were very friendly and were happy to organise tables for the 8 of us. Quite an extensive menu with a specials board as well. Had the trio as a starter crabmeat, prawns, avocado, melon and mango, really generous portion which was tasty. For mains I had cod, chorizo and mash not necessarily Italian but tasty nonetheless. Everyone on the table enjoyed the food so happy faces all round including the children. Will visit again!!

This is a decent restaurant with a warm welcome - and you certainly won't leave hungry! The menu has all the Italian classics and our group ordered quite a few of them... pizzas, risotto, pasta... though nothing really stood out as being outstanding. It just feels like the food needs a little more care - better quality ingredients, a fresher taste, more flavours and some inspiration from the kitchen.

I was persuaded to eat here by the good reviews. Are they genuine?? Should have based my decision on the bad reviews that say they can't cook pizza or pasta. We ordered the chicken risotto and received a bowl of stodge. The rice was all stuck together and it had no flavour at all. So, add risotto to the list of food this 'Italian!!!' can't cook!

We came without booking and got seated straight away. Clean restaurant. Staff were nice and very busy. They were clearly working hard and were tipped because of this. My partner enjoyed his starter of prawns. My mushroom was large and ok .. could have done with a little more flavour but I can’t put my finger on what . I had chicken Kiev which was quite tasty but my partner didn’t enjoy his calzone as much as in other restaurants. Not bad but not sure we’ll return. We’ll see .

This was our first ever visit. We had heard good things about this restaurant and although we don’t live that close it was worth the trip. We were not disappointed the service was very attentive but the food was delicious. I’m amazed this restaurant was rammed. We will definitely be returning soon.

We are regulars at this restaurant. Food and service are normally very good However on this occasion my steak was very tough and very fatty I only ate a little bit of it. When the lady came to clear our plates (she is the owner of the restaurant) I pointed out that the steak was very fatty. I couldn't believe what happened next. She snapped at me telling me I should have told her earlier, she accused me of being miserable, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I told her we were regulars and normally the food is nice but the chef should not have sent it out. I then got annoyed and told her we won't be returning and she just shrugged her shoulders. I was absolutely gobsmacked. We paid the bill and left

Most of the restaurants in the area were full when we went last week. So we stumbled upon them. The chicken Kiev was the best We have ever eaten, huge portions to. The deserts were amazing to. At such reasonable prices to. Highly recommended. It's only downfall was, we expected Italian staff serving although everyone else including the owners and chefs were, and even though they to were great, it kind of spoilt to the illusion.

well, I have heard good reports about this venue, but having looked at the menu, it wasn't a restaurant I would have chosen. As Bagatti's was full, we tried Tre Fratelli. The mussels had sold out, so I think I chose unwisely: melanzone parmigiana - very nice albeit no discernible tomato sauce, then lobster ravioli. The whole thing was too rich for me, and I'm a girl who can handle her food! I must say, the garlic bread with cheese was probably the best I've had in a restaurant! Puddings: I had the panna cotta: presentation was poor, it was delicious, but badly handled, completely smothered with the blueberry jus, it could have been presented better. Ambience was fine, quite a busy buzzy restaurant. Value for money? I think so: 4 people, 3 courses each 2 drinks each, £135.00 Just be hungry when you go and ready for a carb/fat fest!

We came here on a recommendation from a friend. I’m not sure if they got confused, or the venue were having a bad day.

I visited Tre Fratelli twice in August. Once with one friend and we ordered from the a la carte menu, the second time with a group of friends and we ordered from the set lunchtime menu. On both visits staff were welcoming and efficient, the food was good. Portions are large ! The owner is a constant presence to ensure all runs smoothly. I recommend !

I visited last Friday night with 2 other girlfriends and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. We shared about 7 starters between 3 of us and enjoyed the scallops and prawn dish and the calamari especially. Tasty food, well priced and nice wine. The one disappointment was the air freshener they were using was SUPER strong, it smelled like a Lush shop! My friend immediately got a headache from the smell and we were contemplating going somewhere else, luckily we spoke to the manager who apologised and turn it off and we stayed. Glad we did and I'd return to the restaurant.

My daughter told me about this place, so I went there with a friend. She wasquite right, it was outstanding. It is now my favourite Criydon restaurant . She did warn me about the size of the portions, especially about the espetadas. They were huge but deliciousI've been back four times, and cannot wait tongonagain after their holidays

Visited here on Friday night for a birthday meal with my parents and unfortunately was disappointed. Starters were good but it went downhill from there. Waitress informed us that Mum's lamb shank was going to take a little longer maybe half hour but we all agreed to wait. However food came out 15 minutes after that and I immediately thought oh oh! Was right to think that as lamb shank was no where near cooked or falling off the bone. Was offered a replacement so opted for lamb steak and this was disappointing too, very tough and undercooked. Didn't hang around for dessert or coffee. Bill didn't include mum's dish which was the right thing to do and waitress did her best to explain the mishap but will be the first and last time we visit.

We visited here on a Saturday evening with a family group as my sister in law recommended it.The staff were very pleasant and the service was good. Unfortunately when I saw the food arrive on an adjacent table my heart began to sink.My starter of mushrooms stuffed with cheese was absolutely amazing so no problem there .Unfortunately my main course was really poor and when I didn't eat it the waitress although not aggressive wasn't at all happy.Fair play to the owner who approached me and had a very dignified conversation with me about what the problem was with the food .He did offer me a choice of another meal but at this point my appetite had gone .I sense that this is a restaurant that is struggling at the moment as the other half of the premises was sitting in darkness at around 9pm.I hope that this restaurant turns itself around and although I wouldn't return at the moment I will give it another try in a few months because the owner was very dignified and deserves another chance purely based on his moral behaviour alone.....

My first time in Croydon and my work colleagues had booked this for a get together. I had steak on a skewer which was really nice. Good service and very friendly staff made this a really good experience. I would def go again.

Often frequented venue- great for family meals - this was dinner for 8. We recommended the scallop special starter to our guests - it didn't disappoint all who partook loved it!!Mains and drinks were well executed and filling - 3 of our party requested doggy bags which were happily provided. No room for dessert yet again!! We picked up the bill everyone enjoyed and the bill was a little over £200!!! Amazing!

The food here was great. We shared the calamari to start and it was brilliant, not greasy or chewy as calamari can sometimes be. I highly reccomend the lobster ravioli from the specials menu, the sauce was really creamy and the pasta really fresh with lots of stuffing. The service was speedy and friendly. Wil definitly be coming back here to try more from that specials board!

I have been there couple of times as it is close to our office. Food is of good quality, prompt and friendly service and reasonable priced.

Been here a few times for lunch and dinner as its easy to access in Croydon's Southend, as they always give a generous portion of food and comfortable enough. I love my seafood and I always go for the scallop starter and seafood pasta, which as said before is always generous in size and portion.The food itself is decent enough for Croydon's standard, for Croydon doesn't lack in restaurant in numbers, but lacks in quality of restaurants. But for Southend's proximity, its good quality and always nice flavours. You are not going to find the freshest of ingredients, but you will find good tasty food at a good price.It is Croydon's market that restaurants need to cater for the lower to mid price point, so baring that in mind, their quality of food is good for what you pay. Unless you are a total snob, the food here is fine and will always make you full.If you want fine food, travel further afield, but if you want decent tasty and generous portions of food, fewer places in Croydon will offer you more than Tre Fratelli.

Visited here last Friday the food was absolutely awful , I had the seafood marinara which came out as a plate of mushy seafood covered in tomato sauce, the worst seafood pasta I've ever eaten. All the meals which had sauce were just smothered. If u love Italian food please please do not go here. A microwable spat Bol would of looked and tasted better.

My children booked this for mothers day. It was a nice surprise as my daughter came down from university which I wasn't expecting. Food was good and so was the service as naturally it would be busy on mothers day.

Had lunch here with my wife, what a great little find. Excellent food, great service, what more could you want.We had the tastiest chicken Espetada (on a hanging skewer) that I've ever had, the breast meat was soft and succulent, great flavour (it's making my mouth water writing this review).Staff are all really nice, quite relaxing, well worth a visit.

We were a family of 7 and a baby very welcoming and friendly couldn't do enough to help!! Food was delicious and very reasonable prices. My daughter said she wants her dinner there everyday. Highly recommended and can't wait to go back!!

We went for lunch on Sunday. We had been before, for dinner. Restaurant not busy when we arrived though several parties arrived later in the lunch period. Their "specials" board looked unchanged from our previous visits. I again chose the ravioli with "lobster" filling. This arrived with copious sauce. It was tasty though whether the filling was lobster was undiscernible. I finished with a pot of biscuit lining and ice cream on top - called Coppa Rossa. Again nice but not special. We drank a decent chenin blanc from South Africa. Service attentive. Overall perfectly good food but not haute cuisine

The food was beautifully presented and was deliciously tasty. My only observation was that I literally finished my starter and my main was brought out . I would have liked time to digest my food, I did feel very rushed and regardless if it was busy I should have been allowed to. All in all a good meal with polite attentive staff.

We assumed this was a classic Italian when we walked in - lots of tables, fairly empty but pleasant staff. Ordered two pizzas which were no better than supermarket quality but really quite pricey compared to your usual pizza place.Base was pale and doughy, toppings poorly balanced. Not well cooked. Flavours average. A real disappointment.

We have been visiting this restaurant since it opened a few years ago. Neither the service nor the food quality has changed in all these years. A wide range of tasty dishes. If you love Italian food this is the place you should visit in Croydon. The last time we went was on a Saturday. We did not book, just turned up and managed to a get table for two. Restaurant was packed but they accommodated us and the service was impeccable. Food continues to be delicious and staff are really welcoming.

I love Italian food and this place did not disappoint. We were made very welcome by the staff. (what a fun bunch!!) Just the right amount of attentiveness. OK, the food....we had the tiger prawns and scallops to start and camembert. Both were delicious and good sized for starters. we both had pasta dishes for mains and again, flavour, presentation and quantity were spot on. Will definitely be paying another visit to try even more of the menu.

I went to Tre Fratelli with a group of friends for lunch last Monday. Staff were welcoming on our arrival and service was friendly and efficient during the meal. The set lunchtime menu is very good value, with an option of two or three courses and plenty of choices for both. Vegetables are included with the main course. Everyone was pleased with the starters and main courses they chose and those who had a dessert were pleased with their choices. There is a car park only a few minutes walk away, a number of buses stop nearby and the restaurant is walking distance from central Croydon.

I went with my boyfriend to celebrate our 2 year anniversary on a Sunday and there were only 2 other tables with people! The staff were kind of annoying, kept rushing us to order from the minute we sat down. Within the space of 5 minutes the waitress came over 3 times, it was really irritating as we didn't have time to finish reading the menu! The food was just average. The music was loud and chart music, not Italian! We didn't stay for dessert as we didn't feel relaxed.

We have been very pleased with the food and service every time we have been. We dine here every few months and have been going since it opened some years ago.Lots of choice on the menu and you can ask for any special additions. A very well run family restaurant.

My 2nd visit and mums 4th. Thought the pork in port at Xmas couldn't be beaten....whitebait to die for and delicious pasta! Staff so friendly funny and just awesome! Please....try it... yummmmm

We came during the Christmas week not realizing the British having big parties for the holidays. They found room for us and although being very busy we had a fantastic meal. The variety of the menu allowed us to try several appetizers and dishes all were great.

We visit South Croydon restaurant quarter "quite alot" to say the least and this place does the best pizza we have tasted by far. Campagnola pizza with extra chilli is to die for. The base and the topping is lovely. As is all the food we've ever had from here. A very good value for money restaurant. It never ceases to fail us. Thankyou Tre Frattellis. Very enjoyable evening, nice surroundings, pleasant helpful staff. The food was hot, tasty and good portion sizes, good value for money. House red was very pleasant too.

This is a great example of a friendly, warm, relaxed establishment with very good food at reasonable prices. Staff are really lovely, the interior is clean and modern and the food is well-cooked, well-presented and amply proportioned. Cuisine is simple Italian and there is nothing pretentious on the menu. We liked this restaurant very much and we will definitely return.

Best restaurant in Croydon...great food with generous portions and a great atmosphere.The staff are great and I always look forward to a meal here.We visit at least once month and always recommend it to our friends.

We went last night for the first time to give this restaurant a go. At first we were not going to go in as it was pretty empty (it was a Tuesday night) but thought oh well let's try it.It was lovely!!!!Lovely staff, lovely fresh home cooked style food, piping hot and excellent service and good value for money.Will definitely go back - perhaps on a Friday or Saturday xxx

Tre Fratelli is a lovely simple restaurant run by family (three brothers) and was perfect for an extended family birthday dinner. The front of house team were very welcoming and made it seem no problem that we were a group of 12 arriving at slightly different times and having trouble making decisions! But the decision-making is a credit to their generous menu of Italian cuisine- more than pizza and pasta! The food was excellent value, very tasty and filling. Sadly after a great starter, I was unable to finish my main or consider a dessert! I would happily return to Tre Fratelli for a family dinner or even a nice dinner with friends.

Had mussels in white wine and garlic for starters. Then I had chicken in peppers and alovely sauce my husband had seafood in pasta which was lovely and a lovely bottle of red to wash it all down.the waiter was very friendly would go back again.

This was our 3rd visit to the restaurant chosen by me for my birthday meal. We've always found the food good, the staff friendly and helpful and the bill reasonable. We have a shortlist of restaurants we try to visit at least once a year, and Tre Fratelli is definitely included.

i've been here twice, the first time about 6 weeks ago it was quiet and the service was good so was the food i had arriabiata, i went back 2 weeks ago and the resturant was packed but only had 2 waiters who were run of their feet and i waited a long time to get my drink about 20 minutes and when our starter came out prawns in a spicy sauce they were very rubbery and i only ate half then my pizza arrived it was like something from iceland that had been microwaved with a soggy base i tried to eat it but it was terrible i sent it back the first time in over 25 years of dinning out ,the next table to me had a pizza as well and the lady said hers wasn't nice either ..a real shame as i live near by and my visit was a good experience

It's been months since we ate here but the service is still very good and the food superb. We really enjoy the scallop and prawn starter shared between teo of us and the fish overall is great quality.

Me and my girlfriend went for dinner in this italian restaurante. we had a very good experience. great food my girlfriend had Funghi Aglio which she loved main course was Calzone.i had tiger prawns for starter and king prawn and rice as side order all was divine good portion and extremely tasty. good wine pinot grigio and dessert creme brulee home made was amazing as usual. Over all great experience definatly going again.

son treated us to a meal out there but been a few times before such a lovely place very welcoming and warm great if you want to take your kids or just go out with mates or have a nice romantic dinner went there on a New Year's Eve fantastic atmosphere was had by us all n food is so wonderful full of flavour n reasonable priced too would deffo recommend this restaurant to all that can go big thumbs up

I've visited for lunch a couple of times recently with work colleagues. Food is good and the service is charming and welcoming. Portions are a little on the large side for my tastes, but I still managed to eat everything! Seafood Risotto was very nicely done and the rice still had some bite to it which is always a good thing in my opinion. Very nice Panna Cotta too. My colleagues were equally pleased with their choices too, especially popular was the Espetada, whilst not Italian, certainly took the prize for most exciting looking food!

Wow!... The food was amazing. Authentic Italian at its best! The pasta was cooked to perfection and the flavours of the sauces were richly indulgent. I highly recommend this restaraunt to anyone who experience Little Italy in South Croydon!!

We decided to try Tre Fratelli when we walked passed looking for a place to eat, having eaten at many of the restaurants in Southend Croydon, the menu was very varied and suited us as I'm a seafood lover and my husband prefers pizzas. We hadn't booked and were welcomed warmly and shown to a table of our choice. Fatima our waitress was very friendly and we were looked after very well. The food was delicious, I had sardines to start with followed by the pork loin in red wine sauce. We went for the very reasonably priced set menu, it had plenty of choice. The whole menu was such good value and the service was exceptional. We will definitely go back.

We called in here for a fairly simple lunch, 2 adults and 2 very young children.The waiting staff were really good and included the youngest child by giving her a menu, even though she is too young to read, the children chose which pizza they wanted and we shared a large pizza.Whilst waiting for our meal we ordered water and wine, the little ones were given glasses for their water and being treated in an adult manner brought the best table manners from them.The children finished the meal with ice cream and declared it it be their favourite restaurant .

This is our second time at this restaurant, we couldn't wait to get back there and we wasn't disappointed. Service excellent and friendly . Food excellent and well presented Would highly recommend See you again soon.

Our last visit was not good and I wrote a review stating the fact. We found ourselves in South Croydon on a Saturday evening without a reservation to eat and our first choice fully booked. We had said we wouldn't return after the poor experience on our last visit but we saw that the restaurant was fairly quiet so decided to try again as the problem last time was that it was busier than the restaurant staff could cope with.As the restaurant so quiet we had a lovely meal with very good service, huge portions as usual at a reasonable cost. Glad we gave it another try, won't book in advance again will just turn up and see how busy they are.
