Colairo's Café-Deli in Croydon

Stopped for a coffee. Which was delicious. Oatmilk really smooth. Pastries really fresh and beautifully presented. Service was excellent. Will return ASAP

Says closes at 17.30. We are here at 16 38 and it is closed and we came especially. Not impressed.

Been coming here on and off to do some work on my laptop and it's a lovely little spot for it. The upstairs is usually quiet, but really bright from the big windows. The staff are all really lovely, the coffee is good and the little bits of food I've had have been enjoyable! Easily one of the better coffee shops in the area (and there are a lot of them).

This is a lovely cafe in Crystal Palace...very quaint, somewhat ethereal. Upstairs and downstairs spaces. Snacky food..but very tasty and wholesome. Very friendly professional staff. Great to chill out. Well worth a visit.

Lovely place. They had my favourite soft Amaretti biscuits. Lovely coffee and food. The staff were really friendly.

When I politely asked why there was no wi-fi there at weekends (presumably to get customers in & out quicker), I got a frosty look from the barista (brunette/Irish) and told to phone the management. I can't be bothered with that, but I can be bothered to leave this review and go to one of the many other coffee shops on The Triangle next time. Four star for the smooth coffee and the light, airy chocolate muffin. One star for the barista & wi-fi. Improve your attitude. And switch on your router on at weekends.

We had their Mixed cheese sandwish, ice coffee, pistachio bapka, Nutella doughnut, vegan sausage roll and skinny latte with salted caramel flavour. I can vouch for the taste, freshness, atmosphere and their immaculate service. Amazing experience, would definitely recommend it🥰

I read a review titled Great Donuts and they probably were when fresh. The problem is they leave them out past fresh and very disappointing. Standard has dropped for some reason

We went to Crystal Palace for a walk in the park and were looking for a coffee shop we walked past this place. We thought give it a try as there’s a lot of local people, the food looks delicious but to my surprise it was a bit disappointing the pastry was not fresh at all and the coffee was very average but overall the place was cozy and the staff were friendly.

All very nice as usual. We found our favourite spot by the windows upstairs. Very nice coffees and bakery items. The price is the only downside. Fortunately, we had a free one thanks to the loyalty card.

had the pink hot chocolate...not good at all. just milk. Place cold too! Then we went to Italian place opposite side of road...wow!

I visit this lovely place often but on the last couple of visits the wait time is really long and there appears to be a lot of confusion between the staff of who's doing which order - my visit today was a nightmare- I waited the best part of 20 mins and still hadn't got my order - I ended up going down to the counter to ask what was happening- it was made worse by the fact that customers arriving long after me were getting their drinks etc - evidently someone wasn't sorting the 'tickets' and a male member of the team was trying to sort who had been served and who hadn't- it was frustrating to say the least

Horrible blueberry muffin I had a take out, but they charged my price like dine in Before this visit I had almond croissant here. It was not fresh and hard to bite, but they exchange to another after complaining.

Great selection of cakes particularly doughnuts including some Portuguese cakes like bolo de arroz. Also a small deli with nice selection of pasta, etc.

Good little coffee shops with nice top floor and well decorated. Perfect place to relax and enjoy a coffee in piece. You’ll find a good selection of hot and cold drinks. Lots of sandwiches and pastries. Unfortunately no kitchen and no hot breakfast is served there. Stuff could be a little more friendly and welcoming. Service though was fast and we didn’t wait to be seated or to order. Good coffee shop I recommend

I come here frequently and looks like there is new staff. The time taken to prepare coffee is too long and something needs to change. It was not full so cannot understand why there was a backlog.

I had read a few google reviews about food not being fresh and disinterested staff but there were also lots of positive reviews so I decided to try them for myself. Sadly, my experience falls on the side of the negative reviewers. I won’t go into tragic detail, but the overall quality of the beverage preparation and taste, the freshness of the pastries (I tried 2) and indeed the staff, was pretty poor. As far as pricing, I believe in paying more for better quality… it’s a cute looking place, maybe worth trying once but without high expectations.

Nice cakes, I take my son here as a treat every now and then. We like to sit upstairs, it's beautifully decorated.

Decent prices. Nice pastries. Cakes are hit and miss. The chocolate muffin had a cheap chocolate flavour, the kind you would get in school but the carrot cake was lovely and moist and had lots of toppings.

Went in the cafe on my lunch break, was then greeted by two lovely women who served me well. Ordered a ham/cheese toastie and a pastry. Whilst the toastie was cooking had a lovely chat with girls and spoke about tattos. Overall lovely cafe and what a toastie it was!!!

It's a nice place with good decor. The chocolate and pistachio pastry was good but the hot chocolate was very average.

Pastries are amazing! I’ve the chance to try them almost all now and they’re all great, honestly. Staff is very friendly and prices are fear considering we’re in London. I went there with my friends and we had the most perfect afternoon tea! The service, the food everything was excellent. Our experience at Colairo's was the cherry on top of the cake of our girl's day out. I highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed 😉

Okay for popping in for snack and coffee. Need to wipe tables as soon as people leave. Had to ask for table to be cleaned.

A lovely little eatery! It felt cozy, and the upstairs even more so! Highly recommend that if you're in the area that you mark this on your list! The Service was polite, friendly and efficient and patient as I looked to find lunch among the many tastey looking choices! The food itself was delicious, and honestly I wanted to try other pastries or more cakes or add an extra doughnut. I'll have to settle for going back soon. The coffee was lovely imo, there were also many other choices of tea juice and I think wine on offer, again something I will have to check again on my return here. Overall: Colairos is a lovely place with a great vibe and decor to match, wether it's for lunch, a catch up or a quick nibble, you won't be disappointed!

Delicious afternoon tea with a very good quality organic prosecco. Scones were super fresh and warm. Delicious selection of savoury brioche rolls. Perfect pretty patisseries. Better than the afternoon tea I had at The Wolsey. Can't recommend enough.

Popped in over the weekend after visiting the Norbury branch before work almost everyday! Colairo’s did not disappoint! There’s a wide selection of pastries, cakes and sandwiches available to purchase as well as a range of Mediterranean produce opposite the counter! The staff are friendly and welcoming and quick only taking a couple of minutes to prepare both my coffee and my choice of doughnut. The doughnuts available are incredible, and pair perfectly with the range of coffee’s available! Soft and buttery on the inside, packed full of custard cream or Nutella and crisp lightly sugared on the exterior. Not to mention the size of them, plenty big enough to satisfy even the hungriest individuals! Upstairs sweating is available, suitable for large parties and bookings for private events can be made by talking to the staff online or in person! For parents looking for a quiet stop to grab a pick me up and satisfy their kids cravings for sweet treats, look no further. Colairo’s truly caters to all, give it a try! You won’t regret it!

Well we are so Lucky in Crystal Palace to have Colairo's, they have the most beautiful selection of cakes delicacies and savouries like no other. On Saturdays they have an even greater selection. I believe Colairo's are the 1st to introduce the Cronut a combo of half croissant and doughnut. My favourite, try Colairo's you will not be disappointed. I promise. Oh and the best coffee.

Doughnut clearly stayed overnight as it was super dry and only had fresh custard. The other pastry was dry and not great

Excellent service and exquisite food! Sent my request for a booking. Got a call the next day to confirm and they answered all of our questions regarding access for my partner who has a disability. We arrived early for our booking and they had already got a table prepared for us! Paul went above and beyond making sure our needs were met and the staff were wonderful! Highly recommeded!

Such a sweet place literally. Family are so wonderful the donuts are the best! My son loves a treat from here. A very instagrammable place and unlike some other comments I find the prices very reasonable.

We had coffees and the sausage roll and ham and cheese croissant all of which were so good. We also had a chantilly cream donut which was such a nice treat but a touch stale - still tasted great though and would definitely recommend this place for the spacious and comfortable seating and very well kept interior space.

I’ve been visiting the cafe the past three years and was ok. But today’s experience was disappointing; Quite overpriced with Poor Service offered. We kept receiving orders from other tables and part pf our order was skipped, Sweets were extremely sugary and some of them not even that fresh.Not sure I will be visiting for some time.Coffee average and was served spilled.Was is just a bad day? I hope so…

I very rarely write reviews but I had to for Colairo’s. Gorgeous coffee, tasty fresh savoury treats and the best patisserie cakes. Their doughnuts are superb and are my family’s weekend treat, trying a different filling each visit. We had a family birthday get together and ordered their red velvet cake, communication was spot on and the cake was more gorgeous than we expected. The afternoon tea is a definite must too, with a glass of fizz seated in their cozy upstairs area. The cherry on the cake to this lovely family run business are the staff. I always visit this cafe when I visit my mum in South London, best in the area staff are always helpful and friendly and the cakes and pastries and savouries are all divine as is the coffee and they remember me even though I'm not a regular

I would consider the best coffe shop in Crystal Palace. The warm and comfortable environet, good quality of coffe ans snacks are well balanced. The staff is proffesional and friendly, everything looks clean and tidy. It can be frequented when u r going out with family, friends or to relax on your own. Since I have been going so often, I got the card to claim the free cup once it fills with stamps, which wont take long ;) .

I had an oat latte from here and sadly it was not good... I haven't tried their cakes and pastries but they all look very delicious and I'm sure they are good. I just wouldn't go here for coffee (at least if you're vegan/lactose-intolerant) I might have just gotten unlucky with who made my latte so I'll go by another day and try again and then I'll try some of that delicious looking cake ☺️ sounds like they have vegan options. Dropped in for a quick coffee while walking through Crystal Palace, I was drawn in by the delicious cakes in the front window and the sign "Coffee Makes Everything Better" what can I say their coffee was delicious and perked me right up...
