We were served by Mimi who was so helpful. We quite were a large group as it was my daughter’s 18th birthday. Mimi and the manager couldn’t have done more and were friendly, helpful and prompt. And the food was great too!

Always have a great time here for me and my little boy (who has a few allergies to cater for as well!) Staff are polite and super attentive, the reason why I'm almost a Pizza Express Gold member now!

Went for a prebooked evening meal to catch up with a friend. All the staff at this Pizza Express are so friendly and helpful, including the manager, and ensure you have a pleasant experience. Our waitress on the evening was very attentive, she made sure our whole experience was perfect, and the food was warm and delicious. I only visit this Pizza Express in the local area as they never disappoint.

Lovely impromptu lunch with my daughter. Everything was fantastic, warm welcome, a lovely team. Decor and atmosphere nice, music lovely. Dennis served us and it was his first day on the floor. He explained this and his team member supported him in a low key but lovely way. The service was attentive but not over the top, well timed and spot on. We got everything we asked for at the right time, asked if everything was ok, did we need anything else, would we like dessert or coffee. The food was delicious, nice new dishes on the menu, all fresh and hot, condiments were offered. Drinks were nicely presented, ice, mint, nice glass. Our pizza to share was cut in 4 pieces and half put on 2 separate plates. This was most welcome! We couldn’t manage dessert but were asked. The bill came promptly and our vouchers taken with a smile. We were wished a nice day and see you soon.

Pizzas were very poorly presented and toppings are defo lacking quantities ei hardly any red onion or green papers on the pizza that I have ordered ..the side dishes were absolutely disgusting where you can literally test that this hallumi fries just come out and defrosted and not any crispiness , something you will get it from cheap shops and put it in the oven ! However people who served us Waitrose’s are nice and polite . I go to pizza express Reigate and West Wickham all the time and it’s brilliant but coulsdon pizza express is defo to avoid , terrible food !

The food was absolutely delicious. The pesto pasta is a personal favourite. Yet, as amazing as the food was, what truly stood out during my visit was the service—specifically, our server, Jesus. From the moment he approached our table, he radiated friendliness and professionalism. He took the time to explain the menu in detail, offering personalised recommendations that perfectly matched our tastes. He genuinely seemed to care about our dining experience. Jesus was attentive, ensuring our drinks were always full and checking in regularly to see if we needed anything. He took it upon himself to remember our special requests, which made us feel valued and appreciated. It’s rare to encounter a server with such an excellent balance of personable charm and professionalism—a true asset to the restaurant. Not only did Jesus provide exceptional service, but he also helped create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere that made the entire evening one to remember. It’s evident that he takes pride in his work, and it truly enhances the overall dining experience!

Had a great lunch, I would recommend Calamari to everyone as a starter and Mimi was a great host. she was warm and welcoming. We loved Mimi’s energy. Ula has lovely suggestions that made our food choice easier. Ula also helped us save money with the PizzaExpress app. Loved the experience overall at the Coulsdon branch

This is a really great PE. We love it and come here regularly. The service is great, the food is delivered quickly, the staff are really friendly and we are often served by Mimi who is super helpful. The kids are always well looked after.

Food was brilliant, restaurant very clean and tidy. We were greeted upon arrival with a smile and throughout the meal we didn't need to ask for anything, Ula was so on the ball, clearing plates promptly, topping up water - best dining experience we've had for a while! Thank you Coulsdon team!

The team at Pizza Express Coulsdon always provide an amazing service for my family. They offer a warm welcome and the restaurant has a really light nice atmosphere with a good view of trains going past if your kids happen to like that sort of thing! We have several allergies between us and the staff take a lot of care making sure everything is right for us, which is why we like coming here. Ula looked after us today and her attention to great service was amazing, arranging for a replacement dough ball to be made specially when a child on a neighbouring table dropped hers and was upset. Really heart-warming and lovely to see. Pizza Express is great value with a fab selection. The service is quick and friendly. It’s always a treat to come here.

We went here to celebrate my grandsons birthday. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a member of staff. The 6 of us were seated at a booth which we liked very much. I can trully say all members of the staff were friendly and very efficient. I would highly recommend this eatery for the food, atmosphere and the excellent staff.

The meal was absolutely amazing! Our waitress was delightful and attentive, always smiling. I think she was Asian. The manager on duty, a young lady in her 20s, was incredibly kind and always smiling. She handled the rude table next to us with such professionalism, setting an amazing example for her team.

This is, by far, the nicest pizza express my partner and I have been to! The food was piping hot, super tasty and the pizza was extra saucy (which I love!). For us, Pizza Express was always the place for a quick, reasonably priced pizza. Since lockdown, however, prices have crept up to the point that our visits have become much less frequent. We visited the Coulsdon branch for a family dinner and ordered our usual - a mixture of regular and Romano pizzas. I'd say that the Romano pizzas are now 25% smaller than they used to be. They still fill the plate... but the plate is also smaller! The pizza toppings were absolutely average, not particularly well cooked and rather sparse. So where is Pizza Express saving money? Increased prices, smaller pizzas, fewer toppings, beer at ridiculous prices... false economies, because the customers will simply drift off - as we have now done.

Came for dinner with my wife and daughter for dinner on a Saturday night. Just wanted to highlight the exceptional service from Mimi and Elliot, who absolutely made our evening !!!! Full credit to the chefs for the great food also, but I have to say that Elliot and Mimi were so welcoming and helpful that we will be back time and time again.

I regularly go to this pizza express with friends and family. The food always hits the spot here! The staff are friendly and helpful, Mimi is our favourite, she now recognises me and my friend and always go above and beyond. Mimi is super friendly, always smiling and pretty much knows our order, most importantly she always remembers our dietary requirements!

Quiet cosy restaurant in coulsdon. Came here for my first date and come here for our anniversary each year as a bit of a tradition. Great food, the staff are always lovely and caring. Price is comparable with zizzis but I think better quality food. Highly recommend for a lunch time or family meal as they do deals for group eating.

A lovely little place for eating out, with good deco and atmosphere. It never seems too busy, so you get a good, attentive service. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food was presented well and tasted good. There is plenty of free on-street parking around the area.
