Had lunch here today it was amazing definitely recommend this place great quick service staff helpful and friendly only just managed to get a table so suggest making a booking

Not as nice as previous visit 18mths ago when the standard was exceptional.Had a Sunday lunch Roasties overcooked, cauliflower cheese was bland, Mashed potato dense and dry.Meat gravy veg ok. Pudding was not home cooked. Previous puddings were homecooked and stunning. Come on travellers give it your best. You have a good reputation to maintain I will visit again and hope for the past high standard.

Fab fish and chips never had a bad meal.

I am extremely disappointed and upset to say the very least of how my family were treated at the traveler’s yesterday afternoon my 29 year old son who has learning difficulties himself but is trying his best to be a dad took his children daughter age 3 sons age 7 who has autism attended an event at the traveler’s yesterday where they paid £5 each £20 in total to sit outside where the event was taking place they took part and enjoyed however later on in the afternoon they went to McDonald’s to treat the children upon their return to the travels they sat back on the benches to eat their food just as the children were about to tuck in (as only the children had food) one of the bar persons came running out and demanded they pick up all their food and leave immediately! And said “you cannot eat that here” The tone and disrespectful manner to which they were spoken to was nothing short of disgusting! Of course my son being a person who is eager to please others as he is often misunderstood picked everything up and moved straight away, he was then approached by other customers who were disgusted at the way they were treated and offered to help them by keeping a space at the table while they went to the car to eat, after this event my grandson age 7 was very confused with the situation and as expected reacted with one of his meltdowns which continued throughout the night and into the early hours of Sunday morning where he had such a meltdown he was violently sick! We have visited this pub many times and spent a lot of money here over a period of time this has now left us so disappointed and distraught that we do not want to visit again which is a shame.. we also later learned that an elderly couple who wanted just a quiet drink on one of the tables outside but was made to purchase two tickets just to sit in the sun for one drink! I really think that staff should be retrained in their customer service and to include disability and autism awareness!!

Fab Sunday lunch - meat was delicious - Yorkshire and Roasts were fab- lots,of veg and jugs of gravy - amazing meal and great service especially as there were 15 of us

Lovely food, lovely place. Cannot fault it

Sadly, it dudnt match up to the old owners, we booked in for a 4 o clock meal. The roast potatoes were rock hard , no boiled potatoes, no cauliflower, I thought maybe it was because we dined late but, my husband said it don’t matter what time you’re booked in for the quality of food should be good. We didn’t realise the place had changed hands, no longer a nice restaurant but, a club bar with an eating area. Sorry the food was awful 🥹

The staff were ever so friendly, So this helped create a nice atmosphere, I thought the Pale ale could of done with the lines cleaning, the food at the buffet was outstanding & plenty of it..Thank you all so much..Mark Wheway as a representative of 3 Para.

Lovely homely meal for a 70th birthday. Very accommodating and friendly staff. There was 11 of us in our party and we all enjoyed with no complaints 👌 highly recommend

Excellent Sunday lunch good value for money Very impressed with how they accommodated my gluten intolerance at such short notice ( sorry I should have mentioned it when I booked) Lucy was very helpful and attentive nothing was to much trouble Will definitely return

Great food, fantastic service, very friendly. On speaking to others, this restaurant/pub came highly recommend, they said it was very good, hot pub food and that was exactly what it was. Chicken sharer to start followed by half and half curry. (So much on the platter I struggled to finish my curry 😂) 3 or 4 drinks each, I drink brandy and lemonade and it was very reasonable indeed. Its recently had new owners, whilst I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere with both, I have noticed a few new additions, juke box, massive telly for sport, pool table and dart board. Can't wait for the summer !! I would advise calling the restaurant first to book as it fills up quick x

Bit disappointed with festive Sunday lunch this year. Beef was a bit tough but turkey was lovely. Plenty of veg and gravy. Desserts always seem to be the same. Lovely place though

Absolutely brilliant, service, food and atmosphere were A1. Certainly going back there.

Great menu, large portions, friendly helpful staff, reasonably priced. As per my usual reviews credit where credits are due I could not fault our visit. Thank you, nothing was too much trouble having gone off the menu due to dietary requirements of some of our party.

Had sunday lunch we both enjoyed it lot of young staff but they knew their jobs cant wait to go back

Lovely site in the welsh , perfect little restaurant with all home cooked food ( proper chips!! Lol) not a massive selection of meals but all are home cooked tasty meals (vegetarian and vegan options available) . We had the steak and ale pie and rack of ribs and it was all perfect will definitely be returning!
