China Boy Takeaway in Caerphilly

Tried this Chinese takeaway about 2 years ago as it was recommended to us, we travel from Taff's well for a takeaway its that nice, the food is very tasty & plentiful, not greasy at all, the chicken balls are amazing 👌 The staff are very friendly & welcoming also, its worth the journey every time and never disappoints, thats why we return every week!! Just ordered for collection. 15 minute quick pick up time. Took a while to get through as the line was busy but it was definitely worth the wait for sure. Had the house special lettuce wraps(new to me).. the flavour was outstanding! Soon as my partner and I took a bite.. we gave that look of love haha! Crispy beef was good too even the curry sauce was delish! Wasn’t too salty like most places. Highly recommend will definitely be ordering from here in the future 10/10👍🏽

This place is the best Chinese on Caerphilly, been here a number of times, food always piping hot and delicious, never had a bad meal, the hot and sour soup is the best I’ve ever had, and the portion size on the box meal was insane. only bad thing is they took their lamb wraps off the menu, they were amazing bring them back!!

A little cold waiting area. Mixed one item on order, but overall great food. Definitely will be back.

On a break in Caerfilli and we were recommended this take away by someone in the street and wow were we not disappointed. Very pleasant chap served us and when we got back to our Place we gorged on the delights we were given. Loved it , outstanding if I may say.. 👍👍

Garbage service, told me to wait 90 minutes for a delivery. Waited an hour and 45. Called up to be told they haven't even started cooking it and I should come and get it! Avoid.

1st time ordering here, we usually go to Kwong Ming but we fancied a change. The food was tasty, full of flavour, fresh & arrived boiling hot. Not greasy, not dry, the food was perfection. Delivery driver was very friendly & happy. The only slight downfall was that the main didn't come with bean sprouts & water chestnuts as requested but that aside the meal was delicious & we would definitely order from here again. Bonus points because the veggie options really are veggie options & they aren't cooked with the meat.

Not a very good experience as when I got home and I'm packed my meal there was items missing and the chips were very dry and butter on the chicken balls was well over cooked.

Good range of good food, very popular

I tried China boy this evening for a change and was pleasantly surprised. I would prefer the sauce a bit more thicker mind. It's a grade 4 so still pretty good as I wouldn't go below that for the hygiene grade. ✔

Simply the best Chinese for miles, everything perfect , the sweet and sour is to die for , beef chow mein excellent as is everything, don't bother with just eat if you want a top Chinese in Caerphilly just order from here you won't be disappointed.

I’ve been using this take-away for 18 months, never had a bad meal, I’ve never been in the place but the front of house gentleman who always takes my order over the phone is fantastic, always a bit of banter about the Mrs working or out again, helps with my choices, awesome, would recommend to anyone in the local area, well done, only tiny point, maybe get a card machine, as sometimes I’ve got no money at home and using a card would save me choosing somewhere else, overall brill.....

Never had a sub standard meal from there, and always open late.

This is the only Chinese takeaway I’ll ever eat, by far the best I’ve ever tried and even my extremely picky, foodie parents have given their stamp of approval. Not only is it the best takeaway in Caerphilly but it’s genuinely the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. Recommendations: Chow Main (Duck or King Prawn - ask for spicy if you like that) Peking Sauce and Barbeque Sauce Beef with green pepper in black bean sauce (the most tender beef you’ll ever try)

Always great tasting Chinese food served here. If you don't order early on a Saturday evening you could be looking at a 2 hour wait for your delivery it's that popular.

Just moved back to Caerphilly town, had a family chinese from China Boy on Saturday night, Amazing food great taste and the best service. This is a must be visit if you fancy a very good chinese takeaway.

Their £5 special amazing. It consits of 5 chicken balls, egg fried rice, chips and a pot of sauce. We usually have curry sauce. Its highly reccomended!

Always good food and friendly staff, if you have a specific requirement they are always willing to help and very knowledgeable.

Rang China boy tonight, ordered two £5 special's the mad on the phone read the order back to me, my over came and didn't have any chicken balls, rang them back and they said I never ordered a £5 special, I only ordered rice chips and sauce in a tray! He was very rude and I wouldn't order from there again!
