We had a lovely breakfast here last weekend! I've been to TRAMS a few times, it's always a lovely breakfast but this time the service was quite slow. It was really busy in there, though. Plenty of seats, on the front of Mumbles. The staff are lovely and there's plenty of choice, really well priced for location.

Lovely food breakfasts are Devine. A must if you in mumbles looking for food at cheap prices.

Lovely Breakfast, only issue i would have with it was the pieces of toast,they were soggy,I would have liked them served separate, the staff were very busy,they seemed to be coping well,i will return on my next visit to the Mumbles, K

Beautiful little cafe nice modern decoration.The young man who took our order at the counter looked totally disinterested, unenthusiastic,and had very little social skills,we ordered a pot tea for two ,a toasted teacake, as a main we ordered mash ham parsley sauce and peas, sausage egg and chips , the food was good and reasonably priced apart from the chips they overcooked and hard shame . The problem was we waited well over well over 30 minutes for the main to arrive also the tea cake came with the main meal not the tea?also people came in and ordered 15 mins after us and got served before us for a take away meal,The girl that served us our meals looked equally unenthusiastic and disinterested, only saying the name of the meals she was holding. It spoilt a potentially really good dinning experience as the food was a good standard and plentiful, the cafe itself really clean and modern,but the total lack of customer service verging on rudeness, let's it's down massively, I feel sorry for the owners that have obviously put alot of thought and effort into the decor and food

Called in early afternoon just the three of us and my son and l had a great all day breakfast, one of the larger offerings. service and staff was first class. My wife ordered cod with parsley sauce and a jacket potato. Having had this before at various restaurants around the country it was always the same combination i.e. a piece of boiled/grilled cod served IN the sauce etc. However on this occasion what turned up was a baked potato with a piece of cod in deep fried batter together with a separate turine containing a parsley sauce. Interesting interpretation. My wife, after coming to terms with what it was, ate it and sort of enjoyed it. But it wasn't finished and it was the unexpected batter that did it. But at least we will know next time as we will return.

My review was 5 stars and is now 1, would be less, Don't be rude to your customers you seemed to understand that last year when I came repeatedly to your cafe. Suspect you've got new staff who aren't mature enough to understand that.

Never again, my mum had the cod and chips, fish was so over cooked and rock hard, the fish inside the rock hard batter was dry as sand paper. When my mum complained they weren’t interested . Not even an apology . I would not recommend to anyone .

Lovely little cafe that we stumbled on when we were looking for something to eat. We were impressed so visited a second time while we were on holiday in The Mumbles. Hubby had the full English breakfast both times, I had a breakfast then cheese on toast - there was enough cheese to do 4 toast but it was lush! 🐷 Staff are friendly & efficient, nice clean cafe. Would recommend it.

Had a lovely breakfast could do with better quality sausages still enjoyed breakfast. Excellent service and price. Would visit again if visiting Mumbles. A bigger sign stating Tramway cafe would be better as we were walking past and missed cafe. More trade cafe with sign of cafe better.

Went for welse breakfast, had laverbread with the cockles and it all tasted gritty which than spoilt the rest of the food.

Paid £4 for one slice of cheese on toast, which took 45 mins to land on the table. Robbery!

I do love a cafe breakfast. I've been here twice now and have enjoyed a solid breakfast each time, ordered the terminus. Kid friendly and well priced.

Lovely place, not over priced, simple everyday menu, not posh over priced rubbish, good servings, spotlessly clean, polite, friendly staff.

The Trams are second to none! Good normal food, good portions and good prices. Shame it's so far from home.

First time here, and not disappointed me and my work colleague had breakfast, very tasty and didn't wait to long, not expensive and staff very nice, definitely will be calling their next time we are working in the mumbles area, 👍

Very nice cafe and you get a good choice of breakfast here, the cafe is modern and very clean and is a short distance from where we are staying at the Carlton hotel. If you want a good breakfast to set you up for the day you'll find it here, we have had breakfast here a couple of times and it was very nice.

We ate breakfast here everyday during our week at the mumbles ( except 2 days shut for jubilee) Great breakfast and sandwiches . The staff here are friendly and helpful, should you wish to tailor your breakfast to suit your taste .

Shocking service. Used this place over the years, but it's now very poor. Waited for 45 minutes, no explanation why breakfast was so late. Being served by cardboard cutouts with no emotion or customer service. Changed an item on the one breakfast, (no black pudding, swapped for Mushrooms) but had to wait another 10 minutes for them, and had to ask twice?! Never again, an absolute shambles.

One of the only old-school diners left in the village. Just as good as its ever been. Great value for money loverly staff, call in if your passing you won't be disappointed. 👊

Nice breakfast admittedly......Margarine on the toast is horrible!!! Please don't use margarine, there is no nutritional value and is tasteless. It would be a 9 out of 10 if you used BUTTER!!!!

Quite a lovely breakfast, not greasy at all. Very clean and busy on a Saturday with lots of pretty people, if you like Mumbles for that. Service wasn't great but better than used to be.

This place is a gem. The staff are so lovely, welcoming and the food/prices are fabulous. If you want an honest All Day Brekkie this is it! Please put omelette on your menu, because this gorgeous dish is sadly leaving the cafes of the UK 🙏🏻

Had the Terminus...excellent thick bacon, fried bread to die for...lovely black pudding, eggs, sausages, hash brown and a most generous portion of beans! The Terminus has ended me! And a good, hot latte...top marks!

Good basic food but we just got in (3pm) before they closed... They need to advertise their opening times better and get staff who know what's in the food... when asked what's in the veg burger the woman said she didn't know...."it's just delivered"!!

Traditional friendly quaint cafe. Excellent value for money! Tried three of their breakfasts, The Welsh, The lighthouse and the Norton Road! All three of us cleared our plates. Lighthouse was just the right amount for my 13yr old. My Norton was superb and the Lovely Welsh breakfast had plenty of cockles and laver bread, absolutely delicious. Will add pictures on our next visit.

My husband and I were hungry and looking for a late lunch, we came across Trams of mumbles. The customer service was very good and the meals we had were absolutely delicious. All beautifully fresh food and the chips were the best we've had from anywhere in a long time.

Visited here Sunday lunchtime. I had to return the coffee for a hot one as it was barely warm. I settled on the half roast chicken. What a disaster dried out and very stringy terrible.

Best place for early morning breakfast. Do try the muffins :)

Excellent breakfast! Thick bacon, flavoursome sausages, very tasty mushrooms and a choice of,eggs, tomatoes and baked beans or laverbread and bacon all with toast and a free glass of fruitjuice. Will definitely visit again.
