Lovely Sunday lunch, can fault it, plenty of meat, veg & beautiful gravy.

Quick service friendly staff nothing is too much trouble for them and the food is outstanding

Lovely food awful service waited 45 minutes to be served a drink. Were there over and hour before food was served real shame as Sunday dinner was really nice.

Excellent food and service. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted like it was made from scratch despite being priced very reasonably. Very unassuming pub, you wouldn't expect such good food from it by looking at it. Decor is a bit "Live, laugh, love" but who cares!

Had a lovely Sunday lunch today, could not fault a thing. Food, staff and atmosphere excellent. Will definitely recommend and visit again .

Went yesterday with my family as it was recommended to us. The girls working were so lovely - took our orders and brought our drinks out fast considering there was a 50th birthday party in the other room. Food was stunning and fas, my two little ones (3 and 2 years) ate everything which was nice to see! The manager (i'm assuming) at the bar asked how everything was at the end and we had a lovely chat before we left, will definitely be back. Highly recommend

Incredible food and service. Turned up without a booking and were seated right away. I had a burger, my partner had the mango chicken. Stunning. We were going to order deserts but absolutely stuffed after the mains. We'll be back for them soon.

Wow, great value for your money, to much to eat. We had the 3 meat Sunday roast.

Due to covid and previous owners leaving The Eagle has been closed for a long time. It has been refurbished nicely and the food was great. We expect to be back.

Absolutely unbelievably brilliant! From the moment we walked in, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, we were shown straight to a table and drinks brought over very quickly, our order was then taken and honestly the food arrived so quickly. We were not prepared for the absolutely mammoth portion! Stunning veg, gravy and meats - piles upon piles! We filled two takeaway boxes full of leftovers and these leftovers were still bigger than a dinner we would have made at home. Can't wait to come back! (wear stretchy clothes though!)

We were walk ins and was made very welcome and accommodated and taken to our seats straight away... staff were wonderful.... the food was amazing 👏 and we didn't wait long for our food even though it was busy there we had starters and main course such a wonderful atmosphere we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there

As always at Eagle we haven’t been let down. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant is very good . The Eagle is a place we always return to.

Not happy today been there many times had a lovely Sunday lunch went with my family today plates cold meat cold not enough vegetables they where warm not hot no Yorkshire pudding very disappointed today

First time visit and very impressed! Lovely designed interiors. Good prices and good choice of beers. Food was excellent, Party of 16 all in agreement. Big carpark. Excellent staff. Very Good, would definitely recommend!

Lovely food and and service was great too.

Delightful surprise on a road trip when finding ourselves in need of a bite to eat. Were in a rush unfortunately but they still managed tasty steak and steak and kidney pie in a timely fashion. Shame we couldn't stay longer. Staff attentive and welcoming.

Over 20 of us booked in. The pub/restaurant was quite busy. Yet the food was delicious and hot and all staff were lovely and polite. Would highly recommend this venue.

Went there for a colleagues birthday, party of 20 people. The food came out at the same time, was tasty and good value. Will definitely be returning.

Met up with friends for Christmas Dinner 🎄🍗🎅🍗🎄 The food was excellent and plenty of it. The restaurant was nicely decorated, with an excellent atmosphere. Would highly recommend The Eagle as it's a nice place to eat at reasonable prices.

Just had our first Sunday lunch at The Eagle but it definitely won't be our last. Absolutely delicious with great portions and excellent staff. Within moments of arrival the waitress was taking our drink orders. Outstanding all around.

Arranged to have a family meal this week for my Mothers Birthday. Party was for 19 and couldn’t fault anything. From the first meal served to the last took less than 10 minutes and everyone enjoyed. Big thanks to all the staff.

Went for Sunday lunch...Staff and food where amazing..the only down side...the floor was a bit slippery and the carpet needed some attention... apart from that highly recommend it, booking essential for Sunday lunch !!!!

What a lovely pub which until tonight I have sadly never heard of. Staff were awesome, helpful, courteous and pleasing. The food was extraordinary, amazing in fact 20 odd meals served very quickly in close proximity to one another so all could eat together, no mean feat. All hot, fresh and devoured, ps try the cockles and laverbread starter. Divine. Not stupid prices either for a change to some of the pubs in neath who think if it's expensive it's good, sadly not.well done all at the Eagle. Great impression.great service,great experience.

All the food is good cymru chicken was supposed to come with a cheese sauce but it was just melted cheddar too rich for me but their cajun creamy sauce is spectacular good service reasonably priced

The Sunday lunch, was the best Sunday lunch I've had in s long time. Recommend going there and trying for yourself.

Had Sunday lunch and it was beautiful, as close to home made as you'll get in a restaurant. The gravy tasted so nice, I had apple tart and custard for desert and really couldn't fault it. Will definitely be back ☺️

Visited Monday evening for a family Birthday Celebration. Great venue, good food and great staff. Perfect recipe for a great birthday celebration. Thanks we enjoyed ourselves.

The food was OK a bit overpriced. Car parking OK for about 20ish cars Play area out back Benches to the front Alcohol is cheaper than soft drinks ..dining room separate from the bar Walkway through the Restaurant to the outside And to the bar Toilets were in the Eating area .every time the door was opened you could SMELL Disinfectant AND URINE. enough to put you off your food ..service was slow as wasn't that busy .18.30 pm ...had to pre-order the food as there were 12 in the party .wrong food was brought out ... Then when the bill arrived after eating there more items on the list added than originally ordered ????? Yes I would eat there again but have the option of ordering there and then NOT pre-ordering a week in advance as can't change your order ...all round I'd give it 6 out of 10.

Came here yesterday afternoon, absolutely stunning food!! The Ribeye steak was stunning and so was the amazing hone made chips! Will definitely be back for more food :)

Kicked out at 22.29 because the barmaid wanted to go home. Been coming to this family venue since a child in the 1980s. Avoid in future. Far more friendly venues within walking distance.

Sunday before last had a excellent meal here food arrived hot which I always like can't stand Luke warm food we had the beef dinner and my sister in law had lamb the beef just melted in your mouth and there was a nice portion of it the vegetables were fresh to and a lot of choice the only little jibe is that when your plate arrived it had some of the trimmings on eg the roast and boiled potatoes were very sparce if you wanted more you had to pay more also if you wanted anything more you had to pay never mind the food was delicious and the gravy to die for also the flavours of the food was excellent will go back there but make sure you book early before Sunday because it gets very busy don't book on day you could be disappointed also it would have been even better for us if it was a carvery that is my opinion excellent customer service to with all the staff well done eagle pup and restaurant Jackie x

The food was good and the staff were nice but there were some very minor issues. Ordered a medium rare steak and it came medium, the vinegar on the tables were empty and no one came to ask if everything was ok. Other than those very small things it was great.

Came for lunch with a friend, for a catch up. Staff welcoming & attentive food was very tasty, would recommend.
