Highlt recomendado.

I've eaten here a couple of times and each time the food has been amazing and the staff really attentive. The chef really cares about food and the menu is a good mix, including vegetarian. It's small and tucked away, which makes for a cosy intimate evening dinner.

I ate here with a friend and we've been telling everyone about it. It's one of those little local places that looks interesting when you go past on the bus, then you look it up on line and think the food sounds amazing, with lots of original, cheffy little details. Then you go in and eat there and can't believe it's that good when it's in Stroud Green. It has foie gras on the menu (which I had and is delicious. Please don't hate me) then roast salmon with beetroot and ginger gnocchi for main. My friend had Jerusalem artichoke veloute and halibut with chorizo and parsley risotto. We shared a pistachio parfait. If you like really good cooking, book a table and go

I’ve eaten at Traiteur multiple times, with friends, for a family celebration, with the girls, and we’ve had great food every time! It’s a small intimate restaurant, with dishes you have to dissuade yourself from having every time you go, to make sure you try some of the other lovely things on offer! Dharam and his team have also done private catering for us on two occasions which was superb.

We had a very good meal here last night. The place is very intimate and our waiter was charming and attentive. The food is modern European, as you would expect to eat in Italy or France. We also met the chef who was very warm and approachable. I highly recommend this place, better than anywhere else in nearby Crouch End

Recently opened in Finsbury Park, Traiteur offers beautifully prepared dishes at a very reasonable price. The restaurant is tiny, the ambience friendly and the service excellent.

Friends took us there for dinner recently We had an exceptionally good meal. I tasted two starters and four mains and all were delicious. It is very high-quality, sophisticated cooking. It isn't cheap but not badly priced for the quality. Portions were generous too, and the staff were really friendly and warm. A few minor quibbles but overall an extremely good meal and enjoyable evening. Food is modern and seasonal without being of a particular geographic region or culture.

was recommended this by a friend (who hadn't actually been) so went for our anniversary. Its pretty expensive for average food thats fancying itself up. The decor is awful - cheap IKEA tables and chairs which doesn't match the food prices in the slightest. Service was nice, but was very disappointed in how much we paid for the taste. Sorry - won't be recommending or returning.

Traiteur opened recently and is a lovely place to go for fine food locally. I have been a few times and not been disappointed. You need to book and it is better for more intimate dining than big groups as the space is a bit crushed. Service is very personal with the owner chef coming to each table to see how you are enjoying your meal. Ingredients are fresh and tasty and presentation delicate. I really enjoyed the beef onglet.

Our friends organised a Sunday afternoon/evening tasting menu here to celebrate their wedding and a birthday. There was a group of 10 of us and it was perfect. It was BYOB but there's a shop across the road that stocked everything from cheap to pretentious.. The chef kindly put warm white wine in the blast chiller to get it ice cold in minutes and kept all our prosecco in fridges and ice buckets. The meal was delicious and beautifully presented: Canapé Pre-starter Starter Fish course Main course Pre desert Desert It was very reasonably priced. What I enjoyed the most was the proximity to the kitchen and the easy conversation with the chef. We had one veggie and one vegan in the group who were smoothly accommodated for. More so when one of the vegan options was pea based and our vegan hated peas. The chef quickly returned the dish to the kitchen and had a new, alternative dish served to her in minutes. Very impressive.

As soon as I took a bite of the beef short rib Croustillant, I wished that it would never end. But I'm greedy so I ate it in about one minute and felt sad it was gone after. It tastes better than my picture. I then had gnocchi, which is one of my favourites and it did not disappoint. No packet gnocchi here. Everyone had enviable meals. I wanted to go back again the next day. This place is not fancy to sit in, but it's intimate and it works. The only downside is BYOB. We didn't pay corkage and if you own this restaurant - do not charge corkage please. You will ruin what is amazing thing that has happened and annoy people like me who would write about it. I have a feeling that they won't be there for long and it will expand quickly, so If I was anyone interested in food in London, I would book IMMEDIATELY.

I’m too hungry to write well. But this is only the second time EVER that I have been to a restaurant that served our table NO FOOD. We arrived before 6pm and were shown to the basement - often not a good sign. We placed our order just after 6 and had to leave to get to the match by 7.20. There was no food by then. The poor waitress kept saying “five minutes” but was clearly getting nowhere. Of course it was down to really terrible management. And aggressive with it. Apparently we should have understood that it was a bit of a lottery whether any food would be served: the manager pointed proudly to two other tables where people had had to leave without getting any food at all. Clearly Gem was trying to profiteer off hungry fans and accepted every booking, even when the management must have known they were completely unable to serve everyone. I suppose it was a risk worth taking for the restaurant - just not for the customers. Gem by name but not by performance or attitude. Will buy some halloumi on the way home…
