As a local couple from Carmarthen, we often go to Ferryside as our dog enjoys running on the beach, until recently, they have been very very limited access to teas and coffees, so we were pleasantly surprised to find this new coffee shop. On this occasion, we just had some coffee and biscuits. We received a fantastic welcome and even the dog was given a welcomed biscuit. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you again when we visit Ferryside in February.

The review pasted below was what I left on Google reviews. Since then both I and other family members have visited weekly. All have the same opinion, great coffee, lovely cakes / paninis all served with a smile and great customer service. ****** A quirky little place selling good quality coffee, good food and home-made cakes (baked fresh daily.) I had a panini which was faultless with a fresh salad and homemade coleslaw. The coffee is good quality (not your genetic nonsense) and it is made well. A welcoming and friendly atmosphere and you can see that the owners are passionate about their business and clearly put a lot of love into it. There is seating inside and outside (weather permitting) with lovely views out over the water. Ferryside has been long overdue a place like this. Will definitely make it a regular stop .******

Lovely cafe, really friendly and welcoming. The "famous" carrot cake was delicious and definitely deserves its reputation

Driving on long single track road & we find ourselves in Ferryside. Don’t worry there are better ways of getting there than on the single track road. We came across Traeth Coffee. What a wonderful place. The owners are very friendly. They are also dog friendly. We stopped for afternoon coffee & cake. Let me tell you the homemade carrot cake is to die for. We were soon chatting & it was like we were old friends. Very reasonable as well. Highly recommended.

I do not cook at all when The Penny Black is open ! I feel really sorry for cafes and restaurants like this ! It's not their fault that they are unable to open up at the moment still ! The Post office is an integral part of the Burry Port community and as such will have struggled to retain their loyal clientele! Not everyone is,driven by price but as I intend to eat there 3 or 4 times a week , still, I'm very grateful that the prices are priced really realistically , as I'm single and only on my works pension, still ! Lol x Thanks for all the care the staff gave given me since moving to Burry Port/ Pembrey. South Wales. Th

Plenty of parking, I liked the layout which didn’t put you too close to other diners and not cramped, amazing views and good ambiance, the service was spot on and the food was of a very good standard, plentiful and all arrived hot and beautiful presented. My first time visiting here, definitely won’t be the last and I highly recommend it to anyone.

We (family of 3) visited on 4 July (see facebook) and could not believe our eyes when we walked into The Clock Tower on Market Way in Carmarthen. This place was a paradise for hungry vegans serving pizza, pasties, cakes, cupcakes, biscuits, chocolates etc. The variety and choice was quite overwhelming. You have to visit Absolute Treats to get an idea of how much different types of food there are here. There are a wide range of flavours to suit all palates, so get on down there. Well worth a visit and check out their website. :)
