Friendly staff, good food, not a bad chippy over all.

Spotless premises, friendly staff, prices are reasonable, in line with others chip shops, but the food, both in its range and quality, is outstanding. Best chips I've had in a long, long time and the portion size is generous.

Rude obnoxious people. Bought nothing. Was too hard for them to speak. They turned their backs .

I only had the food that was ready, from the hotbox, & its wasn’t too soggy. £2.40 for a large battered sausage is criminal given it’s not a quality sausage.

Totally disorganised, they always look busy, but it takes ages to get a simple donner kebab. Don't get me wrong, the food is good, but 20-30 minutes for a kebab is silly. I can get a curry a couple of doors away in 10 minutes

This is best fish and chips for miles. All the fish is cooked to order, and chips cooked in smaller batches so always fresh. The portion sizes are generous, and the guys serving are fantastic.

We was going to to visit my auntie & she has been off her food of late & has fancied traditional fish & chips for some time, something I believe is hard to find in her area now (my cousin says most establishments offer fries with fish, which is not the same). My auntie was recommended that I go to Tower to buy some, to bring in for our lunch. None of us wanted a large amount so I bought my auntie a senior citizen portion & a large cod & chips for my husband & I to share. The food was cooked fresh in front of me. I noticed the best hygiene (even more conscious of this since the pandemic). The lady frying appeared to not be happy with quality of the fish & discarded the portion & started again. I was disappointed about the waste, but impressed with her standard of frying & presentation. The staff offered to salt & vinegar the food & even waited whilst I called my auntie (as she had been craving this meal for awhile, it had to be perfect). The man was very patient. Was offered tartar sauce at no extra cost. I was impressed, as often charged extra. We all enjoyed this hot food & there was no complaints. We could not stop talking about the quality, how generous the portions were & how hot the food was. We are still talking about it a week on! I told the staff at Tower that they were recommended & asked for a menu. We were all impressed with the variety of food on offer. My auntie will definitely recommend them, as I would too. Friendly staff, who clearly have regular customers as I noticed people were greeted by name. There appeared to be no complacency in the service to these people either. Well done Tower & thank you for making our afternoon an enjoyable experience & for making my auntie happy. It was lovely to see her enjoy her food & hear even now how much she enjoyed that meal 😊

Good service, easy to park, nice food. But the web site say's it is open on a Sunday from 15:00 to 22:00. I drove there only to find it was actually Closed at 19:15. So I have removed 1 star.

We order from here quite regularly. All the food is fresh and great tasting, and very reasonable prices. Shop is super clean, staff are friendly - a real local gem. Ring through and order their southern fried chicken - it’s real good and gets sold out quickly!

Great food although the wait time is a little long but what do you expect when your getting by freshly cooked food?.. cant fault what iv had there so far.. fish and chips was lovely and put into a nice cardboard container.
