I recently visited cosco with my families.The foods are very delicious. Mostly the Hallal food is much than before. I highly recommend all of them much visit cosmo

Looked online price £20 when there as Xmas £25 . Went inside and got seated person in front vaping so got up and complain what should not be for me to do as management standing almost at side worrying about radios and how many there . Gone to get food soup for starters . No bowls so had to find sombody to ask for bowls to be told use the desert ones . So soup out off plastic bowls like a children’s party. . Second serving 3bowls over steam saying dumping all empty and one with wraps for duck . For whole stay no dumplings when asked not long . Gone back to table kids just running around touching all the food and putting it back . Gone to centre most bowls empty or just juice off food in middle . When gone for dessert my don’t have the sweet soft eggs as just seen a little boy lick one and chuck back in bowl . From start to desert no Eaton mess when asked twice was told 5 min . When did decided what to have for dessert yet again 3 bowls with chocolate in as two girls playing with fountain and member staff standing watching . So yet again had to wait for bowls . Got bowl and the only thing that looked like never been picked by kids was frozen ice cream out off freezer . The whole experience was where the hell are these parents when kids go up to eat and why don’t staff step in and stop them . The whole experience was where was poor that I will not return . Even tho I did talk to member off staff on exiting that was dearest £100 spent less drinks

Foods great, if you’re Nigerian, the rice feels like home and them shrimps

I have been coming to Cosmo for about 4 or 5 years now, we go there for our Christmas Dinners,to celebrate birthdays or just to have something to eat on a regular day. Food is amazing and their service has never failed us. This place gets very busy but their staff still manages to accommodate us every single time. Waitresses and waiters are always polite and welcoming. If your looking for a place to eat something fresh and cheap at the same time you dont need to look any further.

Hi its been our 6th or 7th time not sure being here in cosmos, its like an addiction when we come to belfast the food is just more than fantastic especially chef biju is amazing the beef steaks and seafoods like prawns and stuff he made for us was really authentic and super behaviour to customers , hats of to his patience all together he is icing on the cake , we would suggest cosmos to every food lovers…

COSMO Romford, all you can eat restaurant, has improved a lot in recent times(I was here last year and didn't enjoy my visit at that time). However this time it was good as now the halal food is mentioned in written form on the board and there are more options for halal food. But the only concern was that most of the Indian/halal food dishes were made too salty, especially the 'lamb rogan josh' was literally inedible...!!! The naan bread and pilua rice have definitely gotten much better as they were fresh, soft and fluffy this time. The dessert section has also improved with more cake options which includes cookies & cream cheese cake, carrot cake & chocolate fudge cake(all of these were very tasty). The soft drinks are bottomless which is great. Overall very much satisfied with this visit to COSMO Romford. Definitely recommend this place.

We came to Cosmo to celebrate my birthday there and was welcomed and looked after by the host and server and the food as always is fantastic and tasty and it's all you can eat and bottom less refill

Great location, plenty of paid parking. Loads of halal options for anyone looking for halal food. Loved the deserts too.

Drinks were a bit flat but other than that it was great, the food tasted amazing.

I regularly go to all you can eat food places. I found cosmos has the least varieties to pick from. Limited cuisines compared to Jimmy's and JRC. I didn't like the food there much, but the sweets were OK. The vegetarian options are a bit less to pick from.

Never a quite place for the past years of visit.. only that there's always a struggle to get shrimps

This place is our new spot. first visit last week and food was beautiful we where late and they where so accommodating, selection was still more than we could handle and the staff where professional and courteous in every way. I have never favored world foods restaurants as i find the flavour is a little similar in every dish in London and only liked the one in Cambridge. but this one!!! Beat it hands down and i am daily recommending it to all my friends family, work colleagues and even students. Thank you so much for your amazing service.

Cosmos has been great in the past, I have a sea food allergy, I only could eat chicken curry and some vegetables. They had roast beef but the meat was bland and a bit hard. All the other food had oester sauce and fried ones had been fried with the same oil as see food making it impossible for me to enjoy. Very disappointed. No going there anymore.

Extremely disappointing. Arrived on time. As I had booked, in advance. Haven't been to Cosmos in yrs. Won't be going back any time soon. NEVER have I been to a restaurant, where you have to pay before you eat. Food was nothing to write home about.Many dishes weren't available. I also noticed, that they don't have a list of dietary ingredients, for those that have allergies, or intolerance to certain foods. That may be an idea Cosmo, you should definitely look into. Service was terrible. As big & busy as Cosmo is. They have learnt nothing from COVID. Yes it is a business, I get that. But state in your policy, that you require payment, before you dine. Then people won't give your staff, a hard time. Asking why, do I have to pay before I've eaten? When I asked, the so called manager was extremely bliase. Many people love that place.But it is definitely a NO from me.

The restaurant was extremely busy last night and we had hoped it would match the fab experience we had at Cosmo Sheffield a few years ago, sadly it didn't. . The food was good, although could have been hotter. It was replenished regularly and most was tasty and enjoyable, although some of the meat was tough as boots. In our opinion, it was mainly spoilt by the other customers there. From a family complaining about the pricing and location of their table, to a kids party, to toddlers running around, screaming girls climbing and standing on their seats to get in and out. It was in no way relaxing and was so noisy that we couldn't hear each other speak. Our chairs were continually knocked as the groups raced back and forth to the food area. We felt that we were seated far too close to the louder groups and it was uncomfortable. We did expect it to be busy and a bit manic, as we go to Jimmy's regularly and it can be the same, but in my opinion, Jimmy's is far more organised, less manic and the staff seem to be less stressed there. Everyone was dashing around, plates were not cleared quickly and there didn't appear to be enough staff. In summary, the food was good, the place was cramped, noisy and very manic with many grumpy looking staff and customers. Sorry to say, we are not sure we will return in a hurry.

We went on a weekday. The food was nothing to rave about. Some dishes were delicious and most of them were not so good. Overall an OK experience. Service was good.

Recently returned to Cosmo’s Lunch with the family. I, personally, didn’t think the quality of food was as good as my previous visit earlier in the year. In fairness, this could be down to a change of supplier and or chefs. My family didn’t feel the quality had declined. Cosmo remains superb value for money. Staff courteous. Other diners consisted of Family groups of all ages. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Of course i’d return again.

I went on 22.11.24 evening. The workers were very weird.. staring at me and my friends the whole time in a very odd manner leaving us to feel uncomfortable. Food was great but didn’t like the service. Wasn’t very helpful . Kept telling us we had to leave soon like we wasn’t aware of the time, felt rushed and didn’t have the best time there , had to keep my composure otherwise that silly woman that took my payment would’ve been cussed out big time .

The food was fine, but the teppanya chef was so rude & and I couldn't feel he welcomed the customer. Please remove him ASAP!!

Nice place Well valued buffet many options of food ranged from different cultures and cuisine my favourite was the tepanaki where they would cook your food there Ice cream tasted good as well

Food quality isn't what it once was sadly

Food is all ok. Nothing is amazing, but equally, nothing is terrible. Food is a bit lukewarm but that's expected at a buffet. You pay in advance rather than all together after your meal.

An extremely busy and popular all you can eat restaurant in Romford Brewery. Ample parking, good public transport connections including late night. It's best to book to get into this restaurant at busy times the maximum stay is 1 hour 30 minutes. There is a high turn over of customers as staff are very friendly but efficient at cleaning and clearing tables. A very wide selection of food which will cater for most dietary requirements. Tofu and salad plentiful. Small seafood items cooked on request (prawns, scallops etc) Plenty of rice and pasta choices, plus Roast dinner options if that is what you fancy. But a good fusion of Asian cuisine.

Lots of variety and choices, and it won't break the bank

Been here twice. The food was exactly the same. No changes at all which can make you feel bored after a number of times eating here. Everything seemed good except for the excessive amount of salt added in main courses. The atmosphere was great.

Absolutely awful culinary standards; food left in heating facilities resulted in dried out stuff; the noodles tasted like I was eating rubber; and the churros were so hard that I couldn't bite into them. The cuisine did not seem to be appealing. We will dine at Cosmo in Romford for the first and last time.

staff like a robot they just need to finish there job, set,pay and start eat!! nice and clean place of course,just ate a little bit of chicken korma and tikka no taste no salt,the worst sushi iv ever had in my life,fruit bar about 3 items only,not even touch the cakes, as we finished quickly and left.

Almost Twice the price of Toby Carvery next door, but with at least 5 times the selection of food. The service was efficient and friendly, the food great. I went for dinner, so it was very busy, but not to the point of generating any serving lines. I'd definitely eat here again.

I appreciate that the place is busy, but an hour and a half is not long enough to eat and enjoy your meal. Other than time constraints it's a lovely place to eat. Staff were lovely! Tepinyaki station is amazing. Lots of choice as long as you don't have extra dietary requirements. A good time was had by all!!

Food is decent and fresh.More selection would be nice. Most of the Indian dishes are bland and tasteless wouldn’t recommend it. Better to go on a weekday than a weekend to get your moneys worth, as price differs.

We like cosmos because with 5 kids it suits all their tastes

This Buffet restaurant is located a 5-minute walk from Romford Station. It is an international food buffet with a wide variety of dishes, all of which are very delicious. There is also a live kitchen option available. The restaurant can accommodate a large number of people. In short, this is one of the top international buffets. It's great value for money. Need to booking advance otherwise you need to wait in line.

I was here with my little kids 3 and we really enjoyed the experience. There were assorted kinds of food and tasty ascwell. My kids are fussy eaters but told me that this place was the best restaurant they been to. They're already pushing me for a return journey. 5 stars all the way.

Restaurant looks lovely but the food isn’t great staff in the buffet area rude asked for beef from the roast area was told no and to eat the fat which was soaking in water, no salmon on the fresh cook bar, ice cream machine wasn’t working out of service the one next to it just poured out liquid. Cakes wasn’t topped up just had carrot cake and mini eclairs not worth £24 a person

First time eating here last night. Booked in advance which was a wise idea as there was a queue outside waiting. Place is very nice but very hectic as you would expect with a buffet. Definitely not the place for a quiet romantic evening. Food was very nice and well cooked. I went up 3 times and left completely stuffed. Only a few negative points. Toilets are upstairs and you go in through a unisex wash area to the single sex toilets. All the hand washing facilities are outside the toilet areas which means everyone touching the door handles to get out have not washed their hands yet. Not ideal. Only other negative is the frantic food area. Kids are a real menace here as they dash back and forth we no regard for what is going on around them. Obviously the parents just let this happen as is the way of the world nowadays, where no one takes responsibility for their kith and kin. Also why can no one close the serving dishes after they take their food. Keep it hot for others!

Booked at Cosmo Romford for a birthday family dinner. My birthday fell on a Monday so I knew it wouldn't be too busy, which is what I wanted. To my surprise, as it was my birthday, my meal was complimentary (with proof of ID). This was a welcome birthday surprise. Lots of great variety food wise, which helped with the 'picky eaters' in my group and the staff were very friendly, checking on us to make sure we were okay. Great night out!

First time I been in this place it wad over one year ago, it was really nice and a lot of food, I come back last week and it was nice, but, not that much food .....

Simply fabulous. Booked Saturday lunchtime not thinking for one moment we could get in. Got a table for 7 at 16-15 and thoroughly enjoyed stunningly good, hot, fresh and beautifully cooked food. Waiter/waitress service was professional, courteous and invisibly good, the front of house was exceptional, polite, knowledgeable and passionate about service. Only one negative, was the number of unaccompanied children, putting their hands in the chocolate fountain to ‘cup’ handfuls of liquid to their mouths. This aside I/we strongly recommend here, ‘if’ you can get in. Well done all….

Arrived on Saturday evening for family meal. On arrival for an accessible table was moved to a more accomodating table. Reception staff are busy but Sawat was friendly. Foods, as expected for buffet and met our expectations. Despite writting we were having family celebrations with prior booking, we were not informed birthday discounts were not applicable during Saturdays which was dissappointing. Overall, reception staff not very happy so seemed unapproachable, but staff after reception were great. Food was good, refillable drinks were full fizzy sugar options only. Restaurant was wheel chair accessible.

Our experience was extremely disappointing. Despite being NHS staff, we were denied the discount and treated poorly by the person at the payment counter. To make matters worse, the manager was unhelpful and both were incredibly arrogant and rude. We sincerely hope that management addresses this unacceptable behaviour and attitude. I wish I can give zero instead

Very disappointed by the service. The manager was very rude and lied that he cannot accept NHS discount. He was very dishonest and blatantly lied that the payment had gone through and cannot refund it as well. These sort of people are a disaster for the business. Management should take action

Went last night (Sunday evening at 6pm) They were 4 of us. Our table was broken and extremely wobbly, one of our chair backs were broken. We went to get the food, most dishes were empty and we was left trying to chose something we would like. Even when we were trying to get things we would like, other customers were very pushy and grabbing what was there because there was not enough food. The chocolate fountain was not working which was disappointing but the worst part was that other customers were using their own spoons that they had already eaten off of to spoon the remaining chocolate into their bowls. When we were trying to get desserts that were left, there was a worker in the way who did not move and was cleaning down the area and packing it away. I heard another customer say that it looked like they were packing up for the night. It was extremely crowded and the customers were feral. Very disappointed that we had chose Cosmos, Romford to have a celebratory meal. It was a disgusting experience that cost way too much money. Will never ever come here again. I would rather make the journey to Ilford and go to JRC Global Buffet, Ilford.
