Tortilla Silverburn in Glasgow City

Excellent experience! I ordered their sourdough Parma ham pizza which was better than I had in Italy! Carbonara was also great. My 6 years old ordered breaded chicken and chips, it was so crispy outside and very juicy inside, well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Service was also very friendly. Definitely will be back.

Went today for lunch. Service was awful and the waitress who sat us was so unbelievably rude and unfriendly, it was hilarious. No eye contact, no smile, nothing. Just looked at us like something she'd trod in and barely said a word. Risotto is abysmal and has no flavour but is incredibly rich. I think they had cooked the rice in cream and garlic flavouring, then added a few barely cooked mushrooms afterwards. My partner had lasagne which was okay but about a third of the size of the risotto. Our daughter had a pizza that was really tasty. I would stick with the pizza as I think it might be the only thing made in house. Pasta dishes arrived so quickly that they must have been microwaved. The leather seats are absolutely manky.

Never again burst seats, but I felt itchy big bug lying, and i dont like the way staff push for tips very rude , food was ok

Macaroni was absolutely rotten I was violently sick after eating it my wife had diahrea and very bad pain in stomach definitely wouldn’t recommend macaroni if you visit the place I certainly wouldn’t go back

During a shopping trip to Silverburn I enjoyed a lovely meal here in a pleasant atmosphere. Friendly, welcoming staff and was served with a smile from.. 🤔 I think her name was 'Monika' and as I am so indecisive I was delighted when she helped with her suggestion of half pizza, half pasta. Both absolute delicious and I will be back!

When we came in it was disgusting so much food everywhere macaroni and bits of meat the water had to clean our table which took way to long as well as that when we still got on the table and on the floor there was big chucks of macaroni when we got our drinks they spilled iron bru coke and water all over on my trousers and my phone the sound doework anymore what made me really annoyed and we didn't get an apology so rude the sever shrugged and said ugh when we got our food I got a burger it was dry and even then when I got it the beef wasn't on the burger and was on the plate I took one bite and I felt sick took two bottles water and the taste was still in my mouth as well as that when we got the check that dint even gibe us a discount when we asked for one they took 10 pounds ruined my trousers and my phone long story short wouldn't take my dog in there was disgusting

Food wasn't that good the wife's food was cold see could see it up at the counter with one plate not under the lamp mine was hot enough but bland . Toni's is better than that but not here

Pizzas are very good, also good value on the lunchtime menu. Good for families too as tables are large size. Carlsberg beer was good and fresh

Toni Macaroni is our go to place for occasions. The atmosphere is excellent, the staff are nice and most importantly, the food is yummm. The raviolis, pasta and bruschetta are some of our regular items. The mocktail 'nojito' is so refreshing. The steak is expensive compared to the rest but with their signature peppercorn sauce is probably the best I've had. I always ponder whether I should take it because of the price but have never regretted my decision to go for it, it's the best.

Pizza and risotto taste was fine but one of the staff was so grumpy and rude. I hope no one was pushing her to work :)

I have been going to good ol' Tony Macaroni for years, but I think this may be my last visit. That's not to say the food has gotten worse or anything, it's still about the same quality as before - not amazing, not terrible but just good overall. The issue is that prices have gone up significantly over time and I'm not sure it's quite worth it anymore. They've even started charging for extra chilli oil (?!). The staff were welcoming and treated us well, and inside it's a nicely designed Italian restaurant. Particularly like the stone pizza oven that's clearly visible. I would recommend a visit if you haven't tried it though, this is simply my humble opinion.

We shared a lovely pizza,Caesar salad and a tiramisu.The pizza was fab with a thin base.The tiramisu came in a cup which was a bit odd but was delicious but expensive. We had a large booth which was comfortable.Waitress was not very happy looking but see my ed to cheer up later.Other staff very pleasant. The restaurant was busy but not noisy.We have been here several times and always good.

The worst calamari I’ve ever had. Otherwise the staff were really nice.

Visited today for dinner. Food was okay but could be better , i wish they had the option to bring cheese at table to add to pasta or pizza. It was worth the try. Drinks were very nice, both Brumble Cocktail and Berry Mocktail.

Came here for a meal with my sister, and we had a great experience! Our waitress was soo helpful and really went out of her way to tailor to all my allergies. She really made sure that what I ordered would be 100% safe for me to eat, and really made an effort. She was also the friendliest waitress we've probably ever had, so a big thank you for all your help! 10/10 would recommend, and we will definitely be back again! 😊

Did not enjoy food here at all. Only 1 person out of 3 in our group enjoyed their meal, my meal was terrible, unfortunately. Spoke to the staff about this and they did deal with it and give me 50%off my meal which I didn't finish. I do feel more could have been done and a warmer approach (proper apology) from staff could have made the experience better. I won't be returning

Had our meals from the Presto menu, which is available till 18.30 Mon-Thurs and 17.00 on Fridays. At £6.95 each, it was extremely cheap considering the size of the portion and very tasty. Only slight quibble would be the chips that lay in the passage way for the entirety of our meal.

When you're too lazy to microwave your own food, go to Tony's. Food doesn't arrive together. Hello taste, where are you?

Easily my worst experience ever of Italian dining. TM wants to be upmarket but we were sat opposite a large gentlemen wearing shorts and sandals. Kept sitting sideways on his chair so his hairy legs were blocking the walkway for servers. What's unforgivable is Mrs H ordered the carbonara, I ordered a Veggie main. The garlic bread and sides were served promptly but the mains appeared around 15-20 mins after the sides. To my horror I tossed some pasta around the plate and saw, in my veggie dish, little ham stamps from the other carbonara dish. This is really unforgiveable and although the waitress seemed equally horrified, the kitchen staff seemed to be laughing when she brought the plate back. Clearly, they are cross-contaminating and using the same utensils etc for veggie and meat dishes. We were offered a re-make which we declined, our sides were also stone cold at this point so we contested the bill and luckily the kind waitress wiped the whole thing and promised 'to have a word with the Chefs'. Never again!

Not great to be honest. Pizzas are OK but the pasta (Carbonara I tried) was bang average. Quite pricey for average food. Gave 3 stars as the service was good.

Would not recommend. Portions very small for the prices. Pizza had few toppings, some of the chicken on the pizza had bones in it. Very off putting. Service was fast but not particularly friendly. Won’t be back unfortunately.

Service good quick and fast. Drinks fresh and plenty ice. Food absolutely terrible, bland un-seasoned, tasteless. "Tossed in olive oil" dose not ushally mean swimming in it along with the frozen chicken breast. Would avoid, better food choices to be had at Silverburn

Great service but sorry, won't be back as the food wasn't great. My daughter had a pizza which she said didn't taste nice and I had a mushroom risotto which had no taste whatsoever.

OK for quick family lunch but food below par. Kids menu was reasonably priced and our boys loved it.

1st time being to Toni Macaroni amd it was lovely. Nice restaurant, lovely staff & food was excellent.

Average at best. Ordered from the lunch menu. Not too pricey. Penne Arrabbiata with added chicken, very oily, tasted fine. Tony Macaroni cheese, weak flavoured runny cheese sauce. Did not really coat the pasta. Crostino al Pomodoro arrived cold, plate was cold. Cheese sauce was a mess. The greens on the plate were all wilted by heat from somewhere, obviously not the food! Diced tomatoes were OK. This dish was sent back once I managed to get a server's attention. Asked for salt and pepper and it was quickly grabbed from the next table who were still eating! The grated parmesan was just left by the till uncovered, for anybody to do anything to it. Place was busy, thought it would have been better. First time visiting, doubt I will give you another go. There are competitors doing the same style of food much better next door!

Getting a table was a breeze, despite there being a queue; the service staff were quick in helping me. I ordered the risotto Bolognese and a glass of Montepulciano. The food arrived swiftly, but the wine was late. The first plate of food was inedible. The rice was not cooked correctly (fairly grainy), but the main issue was the taste: The amount of garlic completely overpowered the food, and half the plate (the left side, for some reason) was so salty, all I wanted was water. I did, after some time (nobody seemed to notice me for almost ten minutes) get a chance to ask for a new plate. This new plate of food was quite good, with salt and garlic well balanced and the rice being cooked well. I enjoyed this plate of food, though I still missed a nice, strong flavour of tomatoes and herbs. I wouldn’t mind returning, but wouldn’t bring anyone who gets tired by noise. It is quite loud in here, especially with their choice of music. The staff however are friendly, when you do get their attention; sometimes they are quick, other times not so much. Still, they were the best part of the experience, hence their four stars. I suspect they are (as so often is the case) understaffed. I nevertheless have to rate my experience. Okay food, good staff, okay atmosphere.

This is the 2nd time we have ate here and find food is very average. Price is pretty steep for the quality of food . Service good but food is let down for value .

Waited over 5 minutes without acknowledgment at the front area. Several staff served the just eats/Uber eats drivers the orders to take away before us and didn’t even have courtesy to say they’d be back in a minute. Waitress who served us was polite and nice enough and review would have been 1 star without her service. Items missing from drinks menu was disappointing also.

Called in after shopping for a meal. Met Paula who showed us to our table. She was so friendly and attentive during our visit. She is a great ambassador for the company. Food was amazing and there was a great atmosphere too. Good value for money and will be back for sure.

It was my first time here, and my last. 2 meals with starters and 2 pints of cola £47! Way over priced. Starters were ok, the mains were generic. She had the risotto with king prawns, the spartain prawns were ok but the rest got left, gloopy stuff even I couldnt eat, £13+ for that. I had the Tony Macaroni burger with reheat chips, dissapointed, the bun fell apart and I was glad to finnish eating it, this was over £11and not worth a 10th of that. Staff were polite but lacked drive. A second drinks order was forgotten and the bill was slow, they should just bring the machine at the same time, we didnt need the extra time to admire the over priced bill, we knew we had been robbed by this point anyway.

Starting with nice things: Sitting area is nice, good point for meetups. But food is not that great lot of room for improvements. It was quite tasteless specially Spaghetti not worth it .. pizza was bit better

We had a long wait for both courses, the server seemed to have no knowledge of items not available until after order taken. There was little or no interaction from server at all, I was left without a drink for quite a bit. It was only because our mains came out that I had the opportunity to ask for another drink. The portion size of the chicken risotto was awful, certainly not worth the £12.50, maybe half of that! Such a shame cause it's been a while since my husband and I have had the chance to properly eat out together and it wasn't a good experience. I won't be back in a hurry.

Cold food was served. I saw a few people sensing back the food get it heated. Charged £6.95 just for 3 pieces of plain dry bread served with tomatoes. No salt and pepper on tables. Do not recommend it. Avoid this much better go to Nandos.

Decided to come here for me and my other halves 1 year anniversary, wasn't really spoken to but was ushered to a tiny booth where the menus were dropped onto the table infront of us without any sort of certainty of us being seated there. Once sat down we were looking through the menu at some of the items we would normally have had and have always had a good experience of, decided to go for the spaghetti bolognese and the spaghetti carbonara, also ordering the mozzarella sticks, we asked for them to be brought out at the same time along with the main courses, a simple task that was quite frankly ignored. we both decided it wasn't really much of a big deal and so just never said anything and over looked it. The mozzarella sticks were horrendous, in all honesty I was laughing at the fact that I could actually only taste the garnish they were sat on top of. The main courses were brought out and they looked great, nicely presented... however not a single bit of taste other than a worrying fishy taste from the ham in the carbonara, there wasn't enough salt and pepper in the restaurant to give it flavour, I was sneezing before I was tasting anything, the spaghetti bolognese the same. both were extremely watery and left a terrible after taste that followed on the whole day. not once were we asked how our food or experience was and so we decided we would write the review as we knew mentioning it to the staff would not make any difference, we were handed the receipt which came to £32 and it is the only time in my entire life I would've walked out of a place without paying a penny. extremely disappointing guys, wee anniversary date night completely ruined as we felt physically sick for hours after and had both woke up the next morning feeling the effects. Train the staff to be more polite, Train the chefs to care about the food they're putting out.

Pre-ordered for 5pm. Went to collect our food and eventually after standing waiting for 30 minutes (and after chasing for our food) we received our order....which was cold. Absolutely failed in customer service, absolutely failed full stop, so much so that there were customers who arrived after us, got seated and served warm food to their tables as we stood...and waited. That's the first and last time at Toni Macaroni's for us

Booked for a collection and had to wait 30 minutes for the food, which was stone cold. I fully believe the food was ready on time and the front of house forgot to check, hence the cold food. The place was busy but a simple check could have solved the issue. Such a shame as after the food was microwaved to heat it, it was delicious. First and last time ordering a collection, as people in the restaurant who arrived after us received their food before us......

The food is exactly what you'd expect, tasty enough, decent pizzas, but they need to cut back with olive oil and salt in the pasta. There was so much oil in the bottom of the bowl, I'm surprised the USA didn't invade! Overall though, nice place and not overpriced

The food was fantastic but the service was poor. We were left standing at the door for almost 15 minutes waiting to be seated. I wouldn't have minded but there were plenty of free tables inside. When a server did eventually come to the door, a family behind us jumped the queue and despite doing this infront of the server they were seated first. When I complained to the server she clearly was not bothered. We were served quickly at the table and the food came promptly. However once we had finished we again had to wait a rediculas amount of time to get the bill and had to go to the till to get the bill. We were not the only people who had to do this. It would not have been so bad but the servers were almost all gathered at the bar ranking and doing very little. When the bill was finally given they had the cheek to add a service charge and were then shocked when we said we were not paying it. There is clearly a management problem at this branch to allow the serving staff to be so poor.

1st visit to Tony Macaroni Silverburn. Seated quickly despite how busy the whole eatery section was. Spacious table for two. Clean and tidy. Drink orders taken promptly amd we were given extra time to decide on our food orders. Great portion sizes and both meals were really tasty. Good value, friendly staff and I'll definitely visit again soon

Took my kids here for dinner yesterday and I ordered the vegetarian risotto only to be given the chicken risotto. Which I had taken a bite of to my utter horror!!. Although the the waitress apologised I was still charged for the risotto even tho I was then unable to eat it as after eating the chicken I felt sick to my stomach and did say this to the waitress who didn’t seem to care. During our meal the restaurant was very quiet but it was hard to get the attention of the staff. I had to send my daughter to ask the staff who were standing together at the end of the bar for a fork. Also when we ordered more drinks they were passed over the bannister instead of the waitress bringing them around to the open side of the table which I thought was very rude considering the place was empty. I’ve been to this restaurant several times in the past and have never had this experience, however the complete lack of understanding in the consequences of giving someone who is vegetarian a meet dish with them eating it speaks volumes on how they as a restaurant conduct themselves. So I will never be returning again. And would warn anyone who is vegetarian or has any type of allergies to be very careful when eating here!!

Front of house staff was nice and quick on their feet. But the food was just a let down. I ordered a Risotto Pollo that came without any Pollo (chicken)... Sent it straight back. Every single dish in our party lacked salt. Not a single ounce of seasoning. We ended up asking the waitress for a salt shaker and extra grated parmessan. Everything was just bland and uninspiring. On average, a main dish consisting of mostly just carbs will set you back £12-15. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone if you're in Silverburn. You'd be better off at McDonald's.

Had a great time. Their pasta is really good. Good service Veggie burger was a bit soggy. Apart from that everything else was great.

Ordered two pasta dishes. Food was served quickly and is very reasonably priced and the portions are large. But the dishes are mediocre in my opinion and not much of a selection of seafood pastas which is our favourite. Maybe just not the place for us.

Had food noticed Nachos didn't have enough cheese asked for more charged extra... Ok fine, bit bland so asked for extra hot sauce again charged. hmmm business model needs work. Ate and left will not return. Shame as place and staff also decor is nice, what a Shame as I love Mexican. Wagamamas is better as nothing extra is charge for. .. hate complaining but had to write a review. Read and take action please. Thank you.

Absolutely shocking customer service from the lady manager !! After everything the hospitality industry has been through then surely they would want to welcome you … obviously not . Don’t waste your time with this one

Mozzarella sticks felt microwaved. Lukewarm to cold in the middle. Overpriced too for the quality. Wouldn’t recommend or order again. Pizza was nice with a thin and crispy base. Staff were fine.

I had chiken with hot tomato sauce, it was alright but I was expecting more from such name, the quality of the meat was poor.

Been a few times previously.....went on Saturday and was really disappointed with food.....really bland....tasteless to say the least.....won't be rushing back

First time in Tony Macaroni Really enjoyed the food. Can't believe I am saying but for some of what we ordered the portions were too big so a fair bit was wasted. Table service was slow and a few requests had to be repeated. I am not blaming the staff as they were doing the best. Just too few of them. In summary 4 star for the food. 2 star for service.

Was in here few months back food was great ..went today waited 30 minutes just for a drink ..then our platter came out ..food was cold ..waitress came when we finished didn’t even ask us if we enjoyed ..so I said that our food was cold ..she did not say a thing ..main meal came out was supposed to be curry prawn dish ..🤮🤮was no curry taste to it at all …tasted like salty butter sauce ..if they come pick your plate up and it is full surely they know something isn’t right !!!!will never be back !!!!!

Not the best food I have tasted. My wife and I went Jimmy Style and ordered a Chorizo and Chicken pizza and Tony's Mac and Cheese. The pizza tasted ok but there was a real lack of topping. The worst Mac and no cheese I have ever tasted. They must have shown the cheese to the sauce as it was creamy but lacked the taste of cheese and also had a fair bit of pepper added. I can buy a MacIntosh Mac and Cheese for not much over a pound and that does have cheese added. Maybe Tony should stock up on them and serve them instead of the poor fayre on offer here. Same problem at the restaurant at Glasgow Fort.

We ordered our food and the chips did not arrive, we asked 3 different staff who all said they are just coming so we waited, a number of tables arrived after and were served and left, so we ended up eating our pizza which was cold by then so did not enjoy the cold meal. Complained again and mentioned our food was cold waiting for the non existin chips. We were told they would not charge for the chips (which we never got), no apology WOW some service very poor won't be going back. Forgot to say had to ask 2 members of staff for the bill which we got eventually and then still had to go to till to pay as we were forgotten about again and they have the audacity to put a service charge on the bill very very poor which ruined our afternoon. I have read some of the comments here and the owners have the same response every time about passing it on to their management team, that really helps NOT
