First experience pretty good. Food good. Service quick. Nice ambience.

So many shops you could send the whole day here

I have to say our first ever experience of Nandos was Amazing. Hubby and I are from the Analogue era but Levi took us in at the Fort Glasgow/Edinburgh, explained everything soo well and just made it such an enjoyable experience. He kept checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Defo Top staff award has to go to him. We both reckon he must get amazing reviews all the time. There was also a young lady called Jane who sorted out our desserts for us. She was just Lovely. Sooo big cheers to the Fort in Glasgow for your choice in staff. Please keep them happy and make sure they get the bonuses they deserve . Maybe find a way for us to show our appreciation directly by way of a nice tip. If its there, we both missed it . Had quarter chicken and chips yesterday. Chips were lukewarm and not crispy. Waitress came over to ask how food was and told her about chips, expecting her to say she’d bring me some fresh ones. But no.. she just smiled and glazed over and said she’d let someone know. I then asked a waiter for fresh chips which I got. Never gone to a restaurant charging £15 for a lunch where I have to collect my own drink and cutlery! Chicken was okay but their idea of a quarter chicken and mine are 2 different things. Minuscule amount of meat.

anyone who is a chicken fan will love this place lovely surroundings staff very attentive couldn't find fault with anything from my visit 5*

Compared to other Nandos this one is warm inside. Food was delicious. Dropped by one star as I saw a member of staff chewing their (fake) nails. A bit music would be lovely.

A very special thank you to all the staff for the beautiful flowers received today! All staff most helpful and pleasant its my absolute favorite restaurant and im well known as the Wing Women! Its the best Nando‘s to visit and i have been in plenty as its my favorite place. I am completely overwhelmed by everyones kindness my flowers are absolutely stunning. What a great bunch of staff you all are!! I will see you all soon! Xx

I visited here midweek during the Christmas period and did not have to wait long for a table. The staff were immediately so friendly when we entered and continued to provide excellent service - they checked our meal was ok, they had a chat with us when clearing the table and also give us a friendly goodbye. This wasn’t too annoying or over powering just really genuine, so much so that my partner and myself left and both mentioned how great the staff were. So thank you! Also the food was great!

just want to leave a review to say how happy the 2 scott’s manners made me, one was bald one had a beard both brand new guys couldn’t of been any more helpful or kind just 10/10 guys

Food flavorless just mouthful of spice

Ordered half Chicken and got a leg and wing that was the size of a pigeon, obviously someone else ordered a breast around the same time...never again.!!

Always very busy so ensure to put your name on the list at least 30 mins before wishing you attend.

food came out very quickly and was very hot. Very tasty. Scott was very nice and helpful to us, very good customer service.

The only nandos I’ve been to where staff don’t seem to want to bring your drinks to the table if you order to the table. A large number of staff all just stood around talking in little mini groups like high school leaning on work tops. Kitchen staff are superb though, food is certainly made as quick and effectively as possible, but this is sadly let down by the rest of the staff. Watched staff avoid mine and my partners food which was eventually brought over after 10 minutes lying on the work top, which has never happened to me at any other nandos. What makes this worse is there were a total of six plates for other customers just lying when the nandos wasn’t busy at all. Been to this nandos a total of five times and sadly the same issues have appeared every time, so certainly wasn’t a one off. Compare it to any other nandos and it would most definitely fall short of the standards that staff meet in professionalism. Also appeared to be many staff not actually doing any work. This begs the question why have so many staff in if they aren’t doing any work, and if they have been delegated tasks and chose to ignore.

Absolutely one of the best serving nandos, amazing atmosphere, perfect staff and great food. Hats off to all the staff you all deserve a bonus.

Family meal, the place was quiet, we were there around 4pm so the atmosphere was quiet. The food was good but a bit over priced for what it is. Having to use the app to order was a nightmare in this restaurant because we couldn't get the WiFi and not one of the 5 of us at the table could get any signal on our phones. The staff just seem to wander around doing laps of the restaurant rather than dealing with or paying attention to the customers which is why im marking the service as a 3. Decent food, clean restaurant but overpriced and no real customer service, taking us to the table and leaving us until bringing out the food wasn't a customer service experience.

Great place for the kids during the day and women playing bingo and at night it's open for adults to have a dance or a karaoke machine so lot's of stuff to keep you and the kid's happy

Amazing place. My daughter is lactose intolerant, and they gave her a tablet with all the ingredients of every meal. The manager has to take allergy orders and even asked if she wanted her to wash her hands before touching the glasses for our drinks. Nothing was to much trouble, made our experience extremely enjoyable. 10/10 for taking allergies seriously.

Llegó para una cena ligera hoy, pidió 5 alitas y una mazorca de maíz. Personal encantador como de costumbre - servicial, profesional y amable. Cuando llegué a casa, esperaba que la comida se hubiera enfriado un poco (es un viaje de quince minutos a casa y generalmente se enfría en ese tiempo) , pero no tanto como lo hizo ... y para mi sorpresa, Nandos parece haber comenzado a almacenar mini - mazorcas de maíz! ¿Es esto lo que llaman "inflación de contracción"? Sería útil si la comida para llevar fuera realmente caliente para empezar, y si pudiera volver a suministrar mazorcas de maíz de tamaño normal, ¡eso sería muy apreciado! Todavía estaba sabroso.

Decent food as usual, nothing special anymore but good nonetheless. Lost a star for service because the waitress that brought the drinks and had to be pointed out she was short of one acted so annoyed her mistake was politely pointed out 🤷🏻. Anyway the wild herb dip is great.

Our last couple visits to this particular Nandos weren't great but we decided to give it another try, and unfortunately after our most recent visit we won't be back again. Chewy chicken, cold chips and barely any peri peri seasoning on chips, burnt garlic bread and what tasted like a stale burger bun. We understand when busy not everything will be perfect/fresh but would rather wait longer and be served edible food and not reheated. Nandos has always been a go-to since they opened but can't justify spending the money anymore.

Food was as expected for Nandos, music was a little loud for lunchtime, I had to end my call as I couldn't hear. Waiter forgot my drink but it was sorted really quickly! The tenderstem broccoli was gorgeous

Visited here today (26/04/24) whilst visiting relatives nearby. I'm from Leeds in England. Service was great, food was nice and very tasty & atmosphere was good also. I enjoyed every bite. I've visited many nandos on my travels and this is definitely in the top 5.

Enjoyed chicken starter big portions and Carbonara was mouthwatering. Lovely staff gave me a box so I could take half my starter home with me . Excellent service, attentive, friendly and very welcoming ... music was good too.

Horrible place to work. A friend of mine lost his job a few months ago in this Nandos because he was unable to work early mornings in Nandos that are miles away and take multiple buses to travel to, while Nandos Glasgow Fort was being refurbished. Getting multiple buses to arrive somewhere early in the morning isn’t always practical. This is something the managers at Glasgow Fort don’t understand or respect. I recently discovered that a coworker of his lost her job for defending herself against a man who was shouting at her and other people in the restaurant. This man approached her shouting and being aggressive, she asked him to stop shouting as he was scaring the children around him. Her manager was well aware of this incident and told her that next time she should get the manager straight away rather than interacting with an aggressive customer. She told her manager she felt afraid of this man and that was why she felt she had to say something. The customer reported this woman for discrimination as he had a disability and claimed her defending herself against him was discrimination, it was her word over his and they chose to believe him over a loyal employee. The man received a £100 voucher and has been back in the fort Nandos since this incident. The employee who lost her job over “discrimination”faced a lot of discrimination in this workplace as there was constant comments made in the staff room about her age and abilities due to this. This is something she wasn’t aware of but managers and supervisors were and regularly turned a blind eye to the comments made behind her back about her age. The cutlery is also not cleaned properly and l would not reccomend anyone ever eating or working here.

Don’t do reviews , but completely dissatisfied with food , the chicken burger which I normally get at the other restaurants is always good an a decent size This visit was a complete joke , the chicken was tiny and wafer thin also the slice of tomato was the top of it where stem goes Would not recommend this place whatsoever !!!

Incredible how this place is still in business. How they treat customers is unacceptable. Place is empty and they've ll me 25 minutes before I can get a table and not only that, you are not allowed to wait inside the restaurant. Incredible.

I prefer the Nando's in town or Silverburn everytime I've been here they've burned my chicken I could only taste that then when I mentioned it they said that they grill the chicken so it's meant to have a chargrilled taste but I have had chargrilled Steaks, Chicken and more and they never taste burned worse experience 0* might have just been my experience but I won't be back and from then on I've always went to Silverburn or the town if I can't be bothered with the journey I just don't go.

the worst nandos i have experienced. let me just say the only thing wrong with the food was that it was cold. the service made the experience as bad as it was. there was 3 of us and 1 of the main meals were brought out approximately 20 minutes before the other 2, even before all 3 starters had been brought out. the halloumi starters were all cold, the staff were all kinda wondering about having a laugh, even the chefs in the kitchen seemed to be procrastinating while we were waiting for the other 2 meals which left us all feeling a bit sour. not really the service you want when visiting an establishment which will set you back upwards of £20 each, per visit

We just ordered pitas for take away and back home noticed that one of the chickens was completely burnt. It was dark dark. This is unacceptable. Where is the quality control?

Incredibly disappointed with my visit to Nandos last week. After having a nice lunch, I went to change my baby in the 1 disabled/changing area in the restaurant. However, was advised that the key had been lost and there was no alternative area for me to use. A man in front of me in a wheelchair was told flippantly by a member of staff 'if we've lost the key, we've lost the key', who then shrugged and walked away. The poor man had no choice but to have his carer empty his colostomy bag in the hallway outside where the toilets are which is not only unsanitary but stripped the poor man of his privacy and dignity. I was told I had to go elsewhere such as Costa to change my baby who was getting very upset at this point as we had been waiting so long. It was such a disappointment and to be honest I don't even know if this situation is legal and should probably be investigated. I will not be going back here again and if you are disabled or have young children, I would avoid as it is not accessible.

Food was lovely and didn’t take long at all. Prices have increased a bit. I used to spend 30 pound for two in here but you’re looking at around 50 now but not too different from most places.

Service and food always amazing Staff always check you’re happy when food served to table and if I have ever had any extra requirement or anything missing at that point they are always happy to sort out swiftly

The ordering process is, like other places, pathetic. There are plenty of staff but you have to either navigate an app on your phone or queue up to order. You get your own condiments. The food gets delivered to your table. No idea why staff cannot just take orders too.

Very busy advised by lovely girl called Abby waited 30 mins for table . Our food arrived and food was cold and my chicken was undercooked My son’s garlic bread was so cold it maybe had not been cooked . Got it back after complaining and it came back soggy Not impressed we love Nandos but this was a a disaster

Was in here two days ago to find myself grabbing something to eat with family for lunch, hadn't eaten anything the whole day apart from the meal I got as soon as I got to the door to leave the building I started to feel unwell and later on that night I ended up bringing it back up, nothing like this is usually expected from Nandos so I was rather surprised I must say but I won't be back here again.

Excellent help from Jack on the door, he was so accommodating and polite. Our first time in Nando’s at the fort - we will be back

Had a really tasty meal here! 1 star lost on service as had to get drink cups ourselves as ordered on the app and they never arrived but overall still great. 20 min wait for a table but this meant the chicken was very fresh and not dry at all.

The food was great. Well, most of it. I had spicy chips and when I got to the bottom of the bowl, there was rice! No one at my table had ordered rice. My mum asked a waiter why there was rice there and he said he’d ask someone but he never came back to our table. Other than that, everything was great.

Food was fine, tho they missed off the dressing from the salad. Service was slow and odd, drinks came v late, and waiting staff were seemingly quite uncomfortable with talking to people.

My partner and I dined here today (19/9/23) and were served by Scott. He took the time to explain how the ordering system worked and chatted about how various things on the menu were compared to others. The food was good (although it could have been hotter temperature wise in my opinion), but alas didn't entirely spoil it. We particularly liked the drinks station where you helped yourself to unlimited supplies. It was well organised, as was the cutlery, napkins, and sauces. The toilets were clean and it had some good music playing with good sound quality within the toilets. Service was quick overall, although on our arrival there was nobody to 'greet' guests which slightly confused us as we weren't sure whether we had to be seated by staff or seat ourselves. This was soon picked up on and clarified by Scott.

Food took a while to come, which is unusual as normally pretty fast. Didn’t bring our glasses over and had to ask for them after ordering on the app. Food was fine but then it’s just chicken and chips.

Ordered on the app. After 20 minutes had to chase up our drinks and glasses. After 50 mins had to chase up the food. Turns out they'd run out-of wings and were making more but at no point communicated this. Another 5 to 10 mins finally got the food. Food itself was excellent at least.

Lots of items missing from the menu when we were there last which was a shame. Other than that, as expected.

Fast and efficient service. Food was hot and tasty, we had calamari starter and hot and spicy fettuccini.

The food is as good as nandos usually is and the staff do a good job with how busy the restaurant is however staff that welcome you at the door often rude and short when telling you it's a 45+ wait. I don't understand why there is no booking system.

I ❤️ Nandos. We went here as we were out shopping. Waited 30 mins for a table. The brocoli was cold 🥶 I was going to stay to the staff, but the que was huge, so I could not be bothered. It was really busy but the restaurant was still really cold.

It's a Nando's. Service was quick and mostly friendly and we were able to order on the app. You know what you're getting, not much more to say really. Oh, I dropped a point because their Wi-Fi wasn't working which made ordering a bit tricky.

Visited Nandos @ the Fort after some shopping and we were seated quite promptly despite the usual wait was great. I had an issue with my order being wrong but this was promptly fixed albeit a little unorthodox switching order items between different plates. It's a fast paced restaurant with a lot of revolving custom which do show unfortunately. The cutlery wasn't very clean and it felt a bit hectic and rushed.

Was greeted at door by Paul we hadn't been b4 so he showed us to our table and talked us through ordering process what a lovely guy very polite and knowledgeable food was excellent and rest of staff were very polite but not in your face Well done guys we'll definitely be back

I had this at 2 stars, however I've upped it to 3 because they do amazing chicken liver and mash.

Came here wasn't too busy got seated right away then about 10 mins later there was a queue. We ordered a chicken combo platter for 2 quite pricy and not a lot of chicken. The waitress came out with order and 2 dirty plates we asked if she could change it and came back with another 2 dirty plates. Food was ok a bit overpriced.

It is such a difficult one. The restaurant looked nice but we didn't order or eat as a member of our party had allergies. We didn't feel confident that we would be catered for due to the hesitation received when we explained our allergies.

Ayer visité el restaurante Glasgow Fort para recoger mi colección. Yo estaba con mi amigo. Ambos teníamos máscaras y nos estábamos adhiriendo aDirectrices. No suelo hacer esto, pero la chica que nos regaló nuestra colección nos mostró un servicio al cliente sorprendente. Pedí agregar un perinaise y me dijeron que no debería preguntar, pero que esta vez ella lo haría. Le expliqué que me había olvidado de agregarlo a mi pedido en línea, pero tenía mi tarjeta para pagarlo, luego dijo que las cajas estaban bajas. . ¿No entiende cómo todos en el restaurante pagaban sus comidas? No fue una solicitud difícil, pero me hizo sentir estúpido por la forma en que me habló. Luego procedió a obtener la colección de mis amigos y tuvo una actitud impactante que realmente lo hizo sentir personal e incómodo. No pudimos salir lo suficientemente rápido. Your not getting a lot of eating for your money. Overpriced menu combined with small portions, definitely not what the hype suggested.

Visité nandos para cenar el domingo por la noche. Absolutamente terrible servicio. El personal parecía que todo era una molestia. Hemos estado antes y generalmente lo disfrutamos pero no esta vez. Uno de los problemas de la calle fue cuando el camarero me trajo la cena a mi esposo y cuando él fue a tomar un chip, se llevó el plato sin explicación. Luego, Kida revoloteó y conversó con una chica y luego dijo que pensaba que era algo incorrecto a pesar de que mi esposo le dijo que era correcto. Regresó a la cocina con él y luego regresó diciendo que la niña pensó que había levantado algo equivocado. Entonces trajeron toda nuestra comida. El maíz de mis amigos estaba quemado pero frío. Mi cena, excepto los guisantes, también estaba fría.
